    Mirena for Migraine

The Mirena came into consideration with me because I suffered from lymphedema for a long time and therefore no other method of contraception came into question. For a long time I could not assign all the symptoms. because the Lymphöden had a very strong influence on the hormonal processes in the body and it was indistinguishable for me. A thyroid hypofunction has contributed to the rest of this and we have long tried back and forth, from where the strong mirg So I came now only after 5 years on it and only by diary lead, that the strong migraine I regularly every 2-3 months always had around the Ziklus, had to come from the Mirena. I’ll let the Mirena go now and then we’ll see how it goes on. Whether my guess is right or not. I think it’s a pity, because for me then only the sterilization comes into question, because I just can not handle the other methods.

Have the Mirena-HS set before 3.5 months, after recommendation of my FA.Habe since that ver … Day bleeding, migraine, abdominal pain, back pain, sleep disorders, skin problems, Schweisausbrüche and very, very VERY bad mood NW explained my FA as follows: the menstrual bleeding can turn out completely! Thought me at the age of 34 and after 2 children there can be worse! The Mirena is a lot, much worse with their NW! The laying was very painful and when I think about what I could have bought my children for 360 euros! I recommend them to any woman in the world and have an appointment in three days hope that then my life and my body will be back as before and I can once again laugh, swim or do sport. To all fellow sufferers greet and advise everyone you know please from!

I’m not sure why I’m always so bad. Bad skin, extreme hair loss, migraines, depression, tinnitus, sudden hearing loss, bad mood, extreme fatigue, always total fatigue, difficulty concentrating, loss of libido etc. etc. Causes lie in the hormonal spiral Mirena. Have meanwhile 1 copper spiral and 2 hormone spirals behind me, with the 2.Hormonspirale removed in the next few weeks. It’s really time to get rid of this impossible thing the gynecologists are making their big money on. Bad advice in gynecologists regarding the very bad side effects. Never again Mirena !!!

until 4 months ago I was really satisfied. Then gradually symptoms: extreme breast tenderness, breast enlargement, itching all over. In the last 4 weeks on about 15 days violent migraine. Mostly at night tachycardia, tingling in the whole body, panic attacks with dread. This causes extreme sleep problems. Total tiredness during the day but also inner restlessness. Investigations with my family doctor and neurologist without findings. According to the statement, I am very healthy.

I have been carrying the Mirenaspirale for a year. Unfortunately, I had to say that I suffer from strong Mirza since wearing the Mirena. I have been permanently bloated for 3 months, also in the fasted state. I have my stomach and intestines mirrored and my blood values examined …. result all right. I also do not suffer from a food allergy. To be permanently bloated, cramps in the abdomen and pimples on shoulders, impure skin on the face (never had impure skin previously increased migraine, and slight hair loss.) I also increased hunger and gained some weight, 2 -3 kilos I am always tired by the permanent bloated and totally uncomfortable 2 days ago I have the Mirena removed (as well as my girlfriend, sister and two colleagues, all of which had strong side effects) and hope for a speedy recovery of my hormone balance Do not recommend Mirena.

Hello. I let the spiral in January 2006 use. Was also as good as painless. I am very happy to have found this site because I feel worse month by month and no doctor can find anything. So my ordeal began in September 2006. I got a violent panic attack in the middle of the night (did not know at the time what was a panic attack) so off to the hospital with the suspicion of pulmonary embolism. I was scared at night. After a week hospital some fit again. My doctor said domestic overload and advised me to cure. Said to have gone to the cure in December 2006. Then I went to march 2007 great. In March again a week hospital with the same suspicion as in September. Nobody could tell me what I miss. Well and so we went on. I was getting worse by the day. My gynecologist said that it does not depend on the spiral. In January 2008 again hospital with suspected stroke. After a week back home without you found anything. In December 2008, just before Christmas again hospital with Verdact on MS all examinations without findings. Had only meant that it was something nervous best I would go to a psychologist. Where I was not until today. Then finally I found this page and what I read here for the most part is like my story of suffering. I immediately made an appointment with a new gynecologist and Monday she comes out. Just hope that then the symptoms go away. The side effects with me were: anxiety attacks, panic attacks, sleep problems, loss of libido, difficulty breathing, depression, palpitations, drop in blood pressure, blood pressure increase, headache to migraine, vision loss, tingling on the face, weight gain, mood swings, fear of dying, fear of having a bad illness , Dizziness, back pain, etc …..

After a good 1 year I let me remove the Mirena again. In the first 6 months there was no problem. Simply gorgeous, no period except 1-2 days very little spotting. Unfortunately, over time, more and more symptoms developed that got worse and worse. These included: breast tenderness, pimples, flatulence, weight gain, worst migraine attacks, nausea, dizziness, circulatory problems, itching all over the body, tingling throughout the body, rapid heartbeat to the worst panic attacks with dread. I did not know these symptoms before in this form and strength. I did not get much help from the doctors. It just said you’re getting into menopause. So I started to look around myself and came across the page. 3 months ago I had the Mirena removed. In the meantime, I have no more of the o.g. Symptoms. I have come to the conclusion that my symptoms are due to the synthetically produced gestagen in the Mirena. It seems that some women with a variety of side effects respond to it. Others are not.

I would strongly advise against the Mirena Hormone Spiral! The side effects are enormous! Moreover, they were concealed by my gynecologist, I did not get a leaflet. Also, it is not true that the hormone spiral only acts locally. The uterus is extremely well supplied with blood, the hormones are distributed throughout the body and try an enormous chaos. The common feature was that the side effects gradually crept in and – because I knew nothing about side effects – could not be associated with the Mirena. I had the first Mirena set in 2000. The insertion was horror-painful (no birth yet) and the pain lasted at least a week and I thought to get them out again immediately, but at least it had cost 300 marks. Then the pain subsided and the bleeding also subsided over time. It all seemed great and yet – I am clear today – the first side effects already arose after some time: – pigmentation on the face (brown spots) – morning sickness – swindle – whiskers on the chin 2006 Then it was time for the next Mirena , Since the threads were not findable and a “rum punch” of a FA was a horror trip and I almost collapsed, the change had to be made under general anesthesia. Everything went well, pain soon subsided. About 1 ½ years later we started: – Uncontrollable weight gain (“lifebuoy”, belly swelling, how pregnant) of altogether 11 kg in 3 years !!! I had always been slim and slim and this weight gain weighed heavily, especially because I could not do anything about it – water retention in the legs, venous problems – Increased cellulite – Libido loss (almost zero) – eye deterioration, printed blurred, veils in front of the lenses, sudden and vehemently occurring presbyopia (since I always had great eyes and never glasses, this experience was also a horror for me) – food intolerances – cold and heat sensitivity – digestive problems – hard lymph nodes under the armpits and in the groin – orange stinking discharge – Reinforced dark hair on the lower legs – sciatica, lumbago – migraine – neck tension – evening leg cramps – rheumatism-like discomfort in the left shoulder – painful itchy pimples on the neck and chin area In addition, I developed some mental problems, but I mainly a p attributed to traumatic stress disorder (sexual violence experiences in childhood): – panic attacks – tightness and choking on the neck – listlessness, listlessness, depression

I am very sorry that I have used Mirena almost two years ago! – Regular migraine – Weight gain of 10 kilograms in 20 months! Weight loss impossible! – increased hair growth (upper lip!) – dry vagina & gt; Pain, tears, etc. – Libido loss – Massive tiredness and listlessness – Acne – Back pain – Mood swings Positive are only: + Effective, simple contraception + menstrual period stays out + bigger bosoms 😉 I would like to have Mirena removed as soon as possible!

negative side effects: – after use heavy bleeding about 2 weeks, later for half a year lubricating bleeding – beginning after about 3 weeks after onset blemishes on the stomach, strong itchy big pimples – disappeared after a few weeks – sometimes itching all over – Pain in the chest – made me transfer to mammography, because I thought I have something serious – severe anxiety, bad dreams – to the point of dread – panic attacks – terrible moodiness – purulent strange taste in the mouth, which came and went – severe pain in the right Area after about 1 year steadily getting worse – especially around the entry point – in urine sometimes severe pain, thought constantly I had a urinary tract infection – paralysis especially on the right side – got migraine – became much worse during Mirena time – less pleasure positive side effects : – Menstrual bleeding was very mild AFTER REMOVAL the Mirena: – immediate improvement of the right-sided pain – it turned out that the thread had wrapped somewhere – no more anxiety, no panic – in a better mood – all negative side effects were gone sooner or later I think that every woman this spiral different good or bad tolerates … I did not tolerate it unfortunately although I saw the type of contraception for very practical, but the side effects were then too much laborious. I was constantly afraid that these apparitions would remain.

Wear the Mirena now almost 8 weeks and long for the day where she is drawn again. Since the first day permanent pelvic pain and bleeding, massive back pain that can only be endured with IBU 600, exciting and touch-sensitive breasts, migraine, hair loss and for me completely unusual sexual aversion and vaginal dryness and pain in the GV, which me and my partner at the time very much loaded. And all for a cost of 370 EUR!!! 🙁 Hope that after pulling this thing everything quickly regulated again, and then again conventional and prevent HORMONFREI.

NEVER AGAIN MIRENA !!! at least for me … After almost 1 year I would like to report about my experiences with the Mirena. In August 2006, I let her lie down. After initial pain (about 3 days), I was fine for some time. In the meantime I am without Mirena again. I do not want to advise anyone about Mirena. There are women who are very satisfied with the Mirena. But there also seems to be women who are not. My person included. Although the doctors claim that the Mirena can not be the reason for a variety of symptoms, I am quite different opinion. I think, no matter what dosage, it’s just an intervention in the hormone balance. And a foreign body to it. Not every organism reacts the same. And honestly, if the Mirena can do something positive, then why not negative? Here is my story. I am 45 years old and have no children. Actually, I never wanted to use a spiral again. At a young age, I once had the copper spiral, which I removed after 1 year due to severe abdominal pain. But after all my thoughts and information and advice from my gynecologist, I decided that the Mirena was the best solution for me and I would have had 5 years rest. As I said, I was fine for a while. My period continued as usual regularly between 27-31 days. However, only as spotting and unfortunately initially up to 11 days. Over time, however, this reduced to the absence of the period. I thought super … That’s why I paid no attention to the first symptoms. They came so gradually, at first still weak. Incidentally, I already knew her more or less from my years with pill and thought, ok that’s how it is … My first symptoms I got so in October 2006. Breast tenderness (I could regulate with Mastodynon reasonably) and occasionally a few pimples (with I otherwise had no problems at all). For the first time in November I had really howling attacks. That made me think. There was no apparent reason, however. I am a very happy and joyful person. A friend said that could be the first signs of menopause. Well, with 45 of course that would be possible. Well, over time, the breast tenderness became more and more extreme and even with Mastodynon no longer under control. Pimples on the back, neck, face, décolleté and upper arms tightened. There was also increased itching all over the body, tingling and numbness on the right thigh. Blurred vision. I also needed a body size more. Unfortunately, I also found that I had gained 4 kg by now. I found that strange, in such a short time and without any change in my eating, – sport, – and habits. In the middle of June it really started. I got extreme migraine attacks, nausea, dizziness, tingling in the whole body, rapid heartbeat, to the worst panic attacks with dread. For no apparent reason and mostly at night. I was completely checked through (blood counts, ECG, EEG, head ultrasound, MRI, blood pressure). Everything great. I should prepare myself that these would be the menopause … and that I should visit a psychotherapist. Also, my new gynecologist said that these are beginning menopause and had nothing to do with the Mirena. But you can not rule it out. Interestingly, I found that he was very quickly ready to remove the Mirena again. What he did then immediately. Incidentally, compared to the onset, no pain. Well, I tried it with high-dose valerian, Bach Flower Rescue and homeopathy (Coffea + Aconitum) … the extreme tachycardia at night was probably the worst … no improvement. Then only diazepam helped, although I am totally against such tranquilizers. But you can not sleep all night, nobody can afford it. After all, I also had to stay productive in my job. Well, I have read many reports from other women with similar symptoms in connection with the Mirena on the Internet. In addition, I am very busy with homeopathy, meta-medicine, alternative methods and more recently with hormones. In retrospect, I can say that I know most of the described symptoms in one form or another in a weaker form over the past 25 years. But I could live with it. Times when I did not take hormones were symptom free. But I have never associated this with the hormones throughout the years … especially since migraine and skin problems are also present in our family. And I have always relied completely on the statements of the doctors. They always certified me best health and that was probably psychosomatic or the PMS. On 26

    Mirena for Uterine fibroids

Mirena was recommended to keep my fibroids in Schacht.2006 I had to be removed a large and it was described to me as a Toppräperat.Von side effects was not the speech in 2007 was laid and in 1 year I had little problems. Then got I had tachycardia, respiratory problems, pimple invasions, hair loss, tension. I was checked by specialists without findings. The complaints became better after a few months until 3 months ago, I am constantly sick (like pregnant) abdominal pain, constant bleeding, migraine, dizziness, problems of Digestion, tightness in the chest, hair dull (falls off again), pimples without end, paleness, fatigue, extreme muscle tension, breast tenderness. Then googled the complaints and I dropped out of faith that the HS is responsible. In all experience reports, I have found myself again. Therefore, I’m the gyn of the dispute. He says that could also be something else. He again found a large fibroid Well, he had not promised me high and holy I would never have to worry again, he wanted to give me then a hormone injection, which should bring it to shrink, incl.Nebenwirkung. I just shook my head and said the end of it now with the uterus. I never thought that such a small thing could negatively affect my life.To the annoyance over the Gyn of all complaints has dismissed and one declared stupid! Hello. I’m pretty shocked what I read like that. But somehow also relieved. I thought I was crazy. Have now my 3rd Mirena. October 2013 last exchange. I found the laying even though I was childless not too cruel. But it was not great either. I am 35 years old and wanted to reliably prevent 4 years for career reasons. So it was not OK to let the Mirena lay again. I have managed so well with the Mirena for the last 10 years. That was bomb. ONLY THAT NOW! In April I suddenly had complaints, nausea, howls, depression, sweating, sleeplessness, aggression, fatigue and at the same time restlessness and meanwhile I hate to visit somebody, water retention (up to 4kg), panic attacks, chest pain, migraine attacks etc. per month approx 25 days of pain with a huge, swollen hot bosom. Normally, I am active, facing others, very laid back, enterprising, physically fit. NIX out of the end. Was at the family doctor got a blood picture done. All values are great. Thyroid is also great … No need to worry. Then I am on gyn. Due to falls in the lungs, or rather slimy, bloody disgusting secretions, with back pain and abdominal pain. Conclusion. At the end of May, I was diagnosed with a cyst on the left ovary, but it was already dry. So died by itself. Estrogen excess – body thinks he was pregnant was the statement of the doctor – may happen again, but does not have – na primmmmmmmaaaaa – then breast examination. Two cysts discovered. For mammography but only for safety. Had to cancel 2 appointments, because I have only breast tensions and can not even say when they come and go. In the last two Mirenas I had a very reliable. Cycle. And never bleeding. Now in July I have the same symptoms again – I’m fed up. Tomorrow morning I have an appointment to move. I want to be myself again and not hormone controlled. I’m glad if this thing is finally out. Contraception must then somehow go differently – that settles already. Until October 13 I would have recommended Mirena to everyone and there are plenty of people who get along just fine. I thought also 10 years. It was also like that … but you change yourself too and at some point the body suddenly says NÖ! I started to hate this thing in me …….By the way, GV is not to think at all, because I have absolutely no desire. In the head sometimes, but that’s gone very quickly, because I feel completely stressed out of all this. In addition, since the last use little secretion still exists. So furztrocken … So from tomorrow a hormone-free life – jihaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa – I’m happy. Dorina

Headache, migraine attacks, permanent bleeding (21-23 days bleeding – then 6-7 days bleeding), severe to very severe abdominal pain at onset of bleeding (1-2 days), mild to moderate pain in the abdomen without bleeding, depressive disorders, mood swings, loss of libido , Lack of concentration, hair loss, listlessness
