    Fluoxetine for Depression

After taking opipramol and other tests for a long time take Fluoxetine, 40mg. Have increased in this period, a total of 10kg and after a short stop, it goes up even further! And despite the lack of appetite there is less than before. In addition, my migraine attacks are more severe and more frequent than before. In addition, my monthly cycle has changed and I feel with my hot flashes as in menopause. But that can not be due to my age.

    Fluoxetine for Depression

I had to take fluoxetine in addition to my therapy and stop after 3 months, because the side effects were no longer tolerable. Due to my depression, I was in treatment anyway, in addition, then came the medium. For 2 weeks everything was ok, no effect but no side effect. Then I slowly but surely got worse, I pulled back more, became even sadder and more desperate than I already was and kept playing with the idea of killing myself. I had no more appetite, no desire for nothing and got additionally migraine, which is not gone until today. After almost two and a half months, I tried to kill myself by taking all the sleeping pills we had. Thankfully they had interactions with each other, so I just fainted and my stomach had to be purged. No nice experience … Well, after three months as I said, I stopped taking it. In the last month, I had lost 11 kilos (from 59 to 48 kg) and then had to spend 5 months in a hospital. Never again!!!

    Fluoxetine for Depression

I got the medication for depression. I can only advise against anyone even taking one tablet of it. It works quite well, BUT there are occasional strong migraine-like headaches, even if you have drunk only a glass of alcohol. Fluoxetine has a strong impact on the sex life. The libido is close to zero and is unable to experience orgasm. The discontinuation is only weeks and months with very little dosage reduction in 5mg steps. When weaning you have a feeling of sickness as in a severe flu combined with severe muscle pain Especially in the neck area and in the thigh muscles. Furthermore, and the WORST are Zaps (see also Brain Zaps). They feel like electric shocks in the head and occur in almost every movement. I survived all this !! But only after the 4th attempt to sell it. The information about Zaps I have from the internet. My family doctor did not waste what I have and just smiled at me and my neurologist said: Since they have just take the tablets. My honestly counseled, keep away from the stuff !!! Nobody can be so sick that you have to take these tablets.

    Fluoxetine for Depression

I had to take fluoxetine for 10 months. I am a 16 year old girl and was treated for depression. The following happened: – I lost 11 pounds (from 59 to 48 !!) – my headaches have increased to migraines, which I am not going to break today! – I have not slept through the night for the last 5 months, until today I have sleep problems. – If I slept super-sweet, I had incredibly real and scary dreams, – anxiety, panic attacks and paranoia were part of everyday life. The only positive was that I no longer had suicidal thoughts.
