    Risperdal for Psychosis

I got the Risperdal as a depot injection during a hospital stay. A long-term therapy is very annoying with the depot syringe, because you have to visit once a week at a doctor who then gives you the syringe. Conclusion: Compared to other high-potency neuroleptics, however, the loss of short-term memory is totally unable to engage in regular activity as the ability to concentrate is virtually non-existent. Side effects: – Loss of short-term memory during ingestion; Example: one wants to make a statement and 5 seconds later no longer knows what one actually wanted to say – only slight restriction of the sexual functions; In contrast to other highly potent neuroleptics, it is not as emotionally dull as other highly potent neuroleptics, but nevertheless in a depressive state
