    Seroquel for Concentration disorders

So with me, I can describe the psychological effect of Seroquel as follows: I had almost no ideas. This had many other consequences, ultimately it has led over the weeks in the listlessness. As for emotional life, I came across a “glass ceiling” in terms of developing feelings on the upper level. I could not laugh anymore, the sexual experience was completely gone, the musical experience was limited. Since I have always come across a glass ceiling emotionally, when I wanted to laugh, to a relentless and very annoying barrier. (At the bottom, this barrier did not exist, fear, despair, grief, everything possible without restriction.) Other antipsychotics were worse and had other disadvantages. But even a lesser evil is still an evil, Seroquel was a bad drug experience. Besides, I was slowed down. That bothered me less. But it was nice to see how I get better and better in table tennis during the wash-out (gradual withdrawal within 10 days) 🙂 The fatigue was not a problem. I practically slept through the first 3 days of Seroquel. Then the tiredness slowly went away and after 10 days I had a normal need for sleep of 9 hours and was not tired during the day. Since then I have noticed the above-mentioned side effects only. After 4 weeks, it did not even look as if it was sleeping. Dose: There were 400 mg of Seroquel Prolong

    Seroquel for Psychosis

Hello, I was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia 5 years ago. I got Floranxol in the beginning but was constantly tired and impotent. Then I got Risperdal Consta as a syringe (depot) administered. Ok, meanwhile I get administered 75mg and must take as needed by the way Seroquel. Although I have increased about 30 kilos and often muscle twitching all over my body but only on the first day when I get the injection, a little tired. The remaining 13 days until the next injection (fortnightly) I’m in a good mood and motivated. In case of sensory overload, ie hallucinations or hearing loss (hear voices), I take a Seroquel tablet. She works relatively quickly and I am very satisfied with these two drugs. The only drawback: when taking both drugs no matter which, I get cravings attacks. That’s it. Ps: Take care !!

    Seroquel for Bipolar disorder

What should one say. I’ve been taking Seroquel for years, but I always put it on my own foot because I just could not handle the side effects. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder 2 years ago and was on 200 mg of Seroquel. A short time later I dropped it off and my life remained a roller coaster. Recently I decided to interrupt the threatened mania with Seroquel, which was also (almost) successful. I only had hypomanic fluctuations from time to time. So it was effective. But I am still struggling against the constant fatigue, headache, slowing down of thinking, concentration problems and apathy – and that at just 150 mg. I can not exceed this value at all, because otherwise I sleep as much as 16 h. In addition, I have also developed massive memory problems, forget the simplest things, I suffer from nightmares and I have after a certain time this tightness in the chest. The side effects are simply unacceptable to me, so I guess I’ll be taking the drug back, with the risk of falling into depression, which still makes me less apathetic than Seroquel does. I can only recommend this medication as an acute medication, although it has been approved since 2008 as a prophylactic. I have no experience with other neuroleptics, but I assume it is much worse.

    Seroquel for Borderline; Depression

I went to the specialist for depression, was prescribed Tritico in small doses, and was sent to psychiatric rehab for burnout. There, Borderline was diagnosed. Despite 4 years talk therapy, change of lifestyle, good previous knowledge in psychology, high Selbstreflexionagrad and sports etc. it did not get better. Therefore I tried it with a stationary stay or a turn of behavioral therapy. Because of sleep disturbances I have been prescribed Seroquel XR 50 there. I took that two years now and my condition got worse. Recently, I understand the connections, Seroquel XR is deposed and I feel much better. Incidentally, borderline was also a misdiagnosis.

    Seroquel for Bipolar disorder

Due to poor values of the kidney, in this case predominantly the value of uric acid, after years of treatment with lithium and the antidepressant citalopram, the combination of seroquel and lamotrigine was changed over. This is intended to prevent further deterioration of kidney values. When slimming Lithcium and simultaneously building up the new preparations, there were strong side effects: Immediately one hour after ingestion it comes to disturbances of movement during walking (staggering), uncontrolled pronunciation and sentence formation and Flash features. It is absolutely not advisable to drive. As long-term side effects, there is a strong overhang of the medication in the next day, when the Saroquel was taken too late in the evening (22:30). Drowsiness, tiredness, listlessness, dizziness, and a feeling of being beside yourself, came on the following day until the late afternoon. If the time window is moved forward to one hour, these side effects are much better the following day. However, an improvement in the concentration (mostly long-term memory), drive and all the little things that one loses in depression makes itself felt positive. The opportunity to return to the work process and its social environment increases significantly. What remains is the question of side effects on the body organs in the long-term test.

After weeks of use, slow medication and over 200 weeks of taking the drug for weeks, severe fatigue and drowsiness developed. At the beginning of taking 200mg no side effects have been noted. After 1-2 months, the drowsiness has become more and more, until it lasted 24 hours. This made it difficult for me to get up after 12 hours of sleep and force myself to get up. I felt as if I had 1 liter of Wisky and could not think clearly and was tired and listless. If I had to get up after 7-8 hours of sleep, I had severe circulatory problems with vertigo and nausea. I had to lie down immediately and not move and sleep. Otherwise I went very bad and misery … Since I could not take Vomex A (medication for nausea and vomiting), because according to my doctor, the two drugs may not be used at the same time! WATCH OUT!!! I HAVE NOT HAD EVEN HAD !!!

Seroquel for Heart rhythm disturbances; Fatigue

I have had good experiences with Prothazine. The connection between Valdoxan and Seropuel led to strongly changing moods, circulatory disorders and listlessness. The intake also led to my loss of appetite has subsided and my weight has returned to normal.

Seroquel for Fatigue; Aggressiveness; Mood swings; Sleep disorders

I take such medicines for the first time. Suffered for 1.5 years under panic attacks, anxiety in the dark and thus sleep synonymous. Was last year 16 weeks in hospital because of that and got from August 2009 Seroquel and seroquel Porolong. Initially, I’m just very tired and lacking in drive. After increasing the dose, am I even interposed at a tipping point and was like the whole day next to me. After I’ve now over 12Kilo increased, and I absolutely can not afford to increase more. I have tingling in my hands and feet. Since taking in august earshot, lack of drive, no more lust for something. Skin problems, itchy rash that I’ve never had before, heart and pulse racing, heavy breathing, feeling stifling, always a dry throat “Known and friends speak to me on it that I cool and aggressive / seriously come over and this memory loss. Without me directly to make a phone call, I forgot everything right back, what in the society is not exactly funny over. Ask me how far it is still to go, I am only 30j.Ist no great Lebensgefühl.aber you will certainly know

    Seroquel for Mania; Mood swings

hallihallo 🙂 I got seroquel prolong in my clinic stay, initially in the dose strength 50mg! I immediately got the above-mentioned signs, which became worse by increasing the dosage to increase the dose! With me every 2-3 days in 50mg steps increased! Until I reached 300mg! I interrupted the seroquel therapy because the side effects were unbearable! Target would have been about 600mg which would not have had a positive impact on me! the worst under seroquel prolong for me was the dazed or the confusion state, because I ran 2 times unintentionally against the door (hospital) and 3 times against a glass door! which was no longer solemn for me because the blue-purple-yellow spots were visible for almost 3 weeks! (The medication would have been intended for me about 1 year, but then I would certainly have no driver’s license in this permanent state! No matter what the doctors say, I would not have dared in this condition !!!: D) I got 2 Panic attacks by seroquel. (my first and hopefully last) in short I increased within a month about 12kg and could save me from almost no food cravings! I ate and I did not know if I had eaten, how much, how long, etc. I did not feel any saturation, I ate rations (mostly vegetables) and did not get satiety! on the subject of paptieneten and seroquel prolong. I had a girl on station that got seroquel because of self-harm and suicidal thoughts. she got 100mg seroquel prolong in the evening and in the morning cipralex. cipralex in the morning, therefore, because seroquel inhibits the serotonin intake and therefore the gift of cipralex to the mood! She reported panic attacks since taking! I also had a young boy on the ward who got seroquel because of social phobia, anxiety and depression. He in turn noticed nothing except concentration difficulty or deterioration, misting and fatigue! At home he got his doctor in 100mg steps (daily) seroquel up to a maximum dose of 600mg! He still did not notice much! It should be noted, however, that he is about 1.80m tall and weighs well over 100kg! my conclusion seroquel is mainly applied to: – schizophrenia – anxiety – mood changes (mania) …. I think the drug, in my opinion, feeble-minded because the effect of ergerlete should according to senior physicians and ward physician should be the humiliation! logically that one does not hear voices in schizophrenia and has fantasies when one is drenched! or, for example, with anxiety states that is also logical that you have only mitigated because by fogging you do not notice what happens! and in manie and mood changes I am also aware that this is suppressed by seroquel. because when you are fogged you can not get into the position of being hyperactive! I think everyone should have their own experience with it, because everyone has a different effect on the drug! I will certainly not take it let alone recommend it! LG loui

    Seroquel for Psychosis

Substantial increase in body weight, chest pain, fungal infection, cystitis, listlessness, tired. Discontinuing the medication led to schizophrenia again, so I am probably dependent on this for my entire life. Take Seroquel 300 mg in the morning and in the evening, side effect as above. Become in two days on Seroquel Prolong 300 mg again in the morning and in the evening, let’s see what happens. Hope to reduce the intake of 100 to 200 mg in the evening. The use of Leponex was the horror, have increased within six months 20 kilos and once a week had to lose blood with patient passport, since this drug has very serious side effects. At the same time Lyogen was taken which was calming.

    Seroquel for Trauma; Sleep disorders

100mg lack of drive, listlessness, strong musing Now if possible, this drug should not be long prescribed it leads to a dependency A trauma should be done anyway only with a Phychotherapie weden load you do not persuade you have Hallos leads to a vicious circle of then again in the Phychatry lands and there again a thought manipulation stadtfindet know the game enough I can give this verbal Eindrichterung simply no more grays. For that reason, I do not like phychatry any more. In my opinion, these are just for mental manipulation that ends up in social isolation. And let the vicious circle begin again. It deserves only the Phychater at it not the patient since it is the Bewust before you on Medikamte einläst because it is clear Neuroleptika are in the first regard expensive and let the purse ordenlich fill the more he the Verscheibt and the Medinisch with the diagnosis proves it The more it starts, the more it starts to start a re-episode. Since that’s very clear.

Seroquel for Mania; Bipolar disorder; Sleep disorders

I am 22 years old and was treated with Olanzapine (Zyprexa) due to psychosis (plus panic attacks and sleep disturbances), which made me hardly sleep for 14 hours and more after just 3 weeks. At the moment, Zyprexa’s blessing was bad. I thought I would never be able to be normal again and continue to push very tiring panic attacks every day. Then, as part of a psychotherapy, Bipolar Disorder was detected and I was put on Abilify and Sertraline (SSRI). After about 5 months, the sertraline was spilled out and since then I’m only taking Abilify. At manic times up to 15mg and at the moment only 5mg. At first I had extreme twitches from Abilify which bothered me as well as my boyfriend. The convulsions did not go away but you learn to live with them and they are less exhausting than living through a mania. By and large, I’m happy with my life, no panic attacks for 2 years and no depressive or manic phase since I started psychotherapy. Abilify helps me curb my thoughts, which usually go through my head like an extremely loud train. Less focused thoughts.
