    Metoprolol for High blood pressure

For more than 15 years I have had to swallow beta-blockers because of high blood pressure and migraine prophylaxis. Beloc-zok and Metoporol 50 have been prescribed for some time. The initial dose was one tablet and for about 2 years I was supposed to take 2 tablets. Since I’ve been taking beta-blockers, I’ve been steadily increasing. Since the dose was increased, I took about 10kg to predominantly on the stomach, which looks very ugly. My eating habits have been drastically reduced, no snacking, no alcohol (because of the migraine anyway almost taboo), low fat and small portions. I even try to do sports, but the weight goes up! Massive sleep disorders, restless legs, muscle spasms, listlessness, depression and sexual listlessness are added to this weight problem. These complaints were u. a. kept as menopause consequences. On the leaflet there is no indication. Unfortunately, there is probably no alternative.

    Metoprolol for Heart rhythm disturbances

After 5 days of taking Tambocor 100 the libido and any feeling on the genital had disappeared. I then canceled Tambocor again, but the lack of feeling is still there after 3 days. I also had a total loss of sexual feelings during bisoprolol. Does anyone have similar experiences?

Increasing tiredness and listlessness. Take 25mg once a day in the morning. The blood pressure is still high and the pulse too fast. With each day of taking I am tired. I have a thyroid subfunction that is treated with 100μg thyroxine daily. I’m fine with this dosage. Since taking Metoprolol I feel worse. Fatigue is different than what I know about hypofunction. After getting up, I could go to sleep right away. Without about 11-12 hours of sleep is currently nothing and best in the afternoon again 3 hours. That’s not life. Due to the hypofunction, I have already accumulated quite a bit of overweight, but with the metoprolol, nothing moves in the direction of weight. And that after only 10 days! How should it be with prolonged use? And libido? What is this?
