I take the med. For about 1 year, after a phase of about 3 weeks, it also began to work well against the anxiety disorders. As unpleasant side effects, about 1 week. after receipt of income, came first an absolute orgasm disorder, I was, despite the desire not able to somehow come to orgasm, which I always succeeded without problems several times in succession. Gradually, it turned out to be an absolute loss of libido – perhaps because of frustration of not being able to come. Today, I have no physical desire for sex, but mentally. Since an absolute vaginal dryness associated with it, I have no traffic with my husband for about 11 months, which charged me, but much more burden him. Nevertheless, my therapist advised me to continue taking the medication during the therapy, ie for about 6 months, because it works and you can live without or with a different kind of sex. And let’s be my early need to have sex every day, also not normal. It also gives me hope that my sexuality will return to normal relatively soon after the medication is discontinued.

Amitriptyline for A headache; Sleep disorders

I have been taking Elontril 150 mg, fluanxole, amitriptiline for 8 days now. Have previously taken paroxetine, since I suffer from the age of 18 years of depression. I was fine with that, but I had very strong diarrhea and a loss of libido! Now I have no more diarrhea, but a lot of other side effects, and I push this on Elontril: dry mouth, sleep problems, dizziness, drowsiness (depersonalization), head pressure, pressure in the chest …! My mood is good, but the side effects kill me! My question: do the side effects stop after a few days? Should I hold out or prefer to sell? Thank you for the answer!
