    Doxycycline for Tick bite

Start of taking: 2.8.2007; End of the intake: 21.8.2007 Compatibility: at first without problems. Then pain in the joints and muscles of the legs, back, shoulders, arms. Pain in the genital area. Type of pain: Sudden onset, strong, sticky, circulating from one area to another. During the day and also at night. Very disturbing. After the end of all 20 tablets, the pain persists, sporadically. Activity must be restricted or terminated. Sleep impossible again and again. After about 4 weeks: Taking a painkiller: Voltaren Resinat capsules. Beneficial. Side effect: Sleep disturbance, not because of pain but because of increased wakefulness. Doctor recommends taking Voltaren resinate only sporadically. After 8 weeks still sporadic pain as above, only rarely. Doxy 200 is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. For decades on the market. There is certainly another antibiotic after tick bite. Note: There is, but doxycycline is gold standard because of price-performance, effectiveness and compatibility.

Side effects: Joint pain; Muscle aches
