    Femara for Breast cancer

Never had joint problems, let alone knee problems. Was outdated, despite my age. In sports, I was far above the flexibility of younger participants. After about 2 years of taking I got such knee problems overnight that I can only walk with difficulty, about 3 months later the same with the right knee. Previously more problems with the fingers and wrists. Sometimes I do not know where to go with my legs, while sitting and sleeping. Everything is swollen and the legs are especially down the knees as well and no longer supplied with blood, really cold. Now I get a knee joint mirroring, because Baker cysts have formed in both knees. The orthopedist and also the rheumatologist tell me that although something can be diagnosed with me, but my complaints and how I walk, had other reasons.

    Femara for Breast cancer

For the first six months, except for dry mucous membranes, hot flushes, and sometimes depressive states, I tolerated letrozole relatively well. Meanwhile, I have discomfort with the bones, in knee and hip joints and feet and especially the stiffness in the back, stooping is hardly possible, bother me. Tiredness and slackness as well as changes in the hair structure have also been added. The best is for cycling, which unfortunately is currently possible bad weather conditions. I am not sure if I can continue to participate in sports (currently are holidays).

2009 breast surgery, after irradiation tamoxifen intake. Then 2x pneumonia and pulmonary embolism. 2010 intake of Femara. Then it started right. Terrible joint and bone problems. Came up after prolonged sitting only in severe pain. It seemed like an old woman. (61 y.) I still tried to walk 1/2 hour every day. Strong mood swings were added. The quality of life was severely impaired. Then I stopped 2 weeks with Femara. And behold, the complaints were not so strong. But I was unsure, what should I do. By chance, a friend (also a cancer patient) has given me the advice to take Femara in the evening. I then took Calcium Plus Vitamin D3 in the morning and Femara and Calcium Plus Vitamin D3 in the evening. I can only say for myself, it helped me. The complaints are not so strong anymore. I can live with that. Although I still have hot flashes, but the joint u. Bone discomfort is not so strong and the mood swings have become less. I hope it gets better.
