I do not feel hungry. I’m pretty relaxed I do not care. I’m not tired, I have sleep problems. Diarrhea started on the 4th day. So far, the inflammation has not improved.

    Prednisolone for Bell's palsy

Because of peripheral facial palsy I need to take Prednisolone, 100 mg for the first 7 days, then dose down for 9 days. The paresis has not improved so far, but in the course of treatment, more side effects of cortisone occur. At the beginning it was just an evening headache, today on day 7 I had some incredibly weak legs and constantly on the toilet. From tomorrow will be dosed down luckily.

I started with 2 tablets (20mg each) last night (Mon). At 2:30 am I was suddenly awake at night. Fall asleep no longer possible. This morning (Tue) I had to take a tablet. During the day, I was getting more and more slack and I feel like I have body aches. But: Dr. Cough has become less … Not so barking and much less common. The drug has apparently struck quickly. Every Wednesday and Thursday I have to take one tablet in the morning and I hope that I can sleep through the night. From Friday then 3 days half a tablet and finally 3 days 1/4 tablet. Hope that the body aches disappear at the lower dosage. But for me, getting rid of this annoying cough in the first place … And since I am just sick, I can currently live quite well with the side effects 🙂

Tachycardia, complete insomnia, anxiety, nightmares, panic states, sweating, thoughts of suicide, depressive mood, stomach ache, back pain, pimples, itching. After 2 weeks I slowly skipped the 7 week therapy because the side effects were so extreme. Never again would I take this medicine !!! I still have stomach problems 3 weeks after the last tablet!

    Prednisolone for Ulcerative colitis

strong weight gain (weight has more than doubled!). Full moon face, double chin, sweats, insomnia, nausea, heartburn, nervousness, joint pain (bones and tendons are porous). Muscle aches. Eye pain (pressure pain). Several teeth lost (are simply crumbled – not because of caries.) Dental implants are due to partly deficient bone substance not settable.Hair loss water retention of some 1-3 kilograms overnight! Depressed moods. Fortunately, I have found a doctor, which brings me out of the cortisone cerebral circulation.Cortisone should, based on my experience for my terms, not be taken for more than 1-2 years.

    Prednisolone for Sudden hearing loss

After getting 3 cortisone infusions first, I was given pills. Scheme: 5/4/3/2/2/1 / 0.5. Already after the second infusion, the urinary urgency increased. After the first tablet intake, it became more and more and on the 3rd day of tablet intake I could hardly get enough fast to the toilet. In addition there were strong mood swings with sudden outbursts, heavy sweating, insomnia (extremely during the 3-day infusion, then slightly improved), unexplained nervousness and of course the familiar bright red face associated with heat sensation (as in a very strong sunburn). Helped the drug, but the side effects were extreme. At the next acute hearing loss, I will probably wait a few days, if the symptoms disappear as well. Because the side effects have burdened me a lot and limited, especially the constant Urn urgency and partially uncontrolled urine output.

    Prednisolone for Sudden hearing loss

Predarrolone was prescribed to me after one week of acute hearing loss (25mgx2,2,2,1,1,1 / 0,5 / 0,5 / 0,25). My complaints before were deaf ear, dizziness, pressure on the ear and whistling). It is already my fourth hearing loss. After taking at 20 o’clock to the dinner of 50mg everything went very well. With a relaxed mood and the feeling of reassurance, I went to bed contentedly. Around 5:00 am I was rudely awakened for bowel pressures, which then led to an unprecedented negative-smelling bowel movement. An immense thirst, tachycardia (blood pressure 170/110, pulse 98) and smelly armpit sweat kept me wide awake until 8 o’clock. Then began to use extreme muscle weakness and since then I lie flat. The urination is every 15 minutes. As the weekend is over, I now discontinue the medication on my own and stay in bed. I suspect that I am probably one of the patients who was allowed to experience their significant side effects stronger.

    Prednisolone for Tinnitus

In case of sudden tinnitus without physical cause. Taken 10 days, starting at 30mg. The stuff changed my psyche so much that I barely recognized myself. Hopeless, timid, dejected, close to the water. Restlessness up to panic attacks, palpitations, insomnia (also due to tinnitus), frequent flushing, depression. Sorry, it has nothing: /

    Prednisolone for Hepatitis

After a weeks-long torture of the diagnosis. I got the diagnosis Autoimunne hepatitis. At the beginning I got 75mg prednisolone to get my liver values back down. Which unfortunately did not work out as hoped. Already after the second revenue I got violent stomach cramps. Since the 5 day I have violent heartburn, nausea feeling. Pressure in the chest and abdomen. Ever since the 7th day, I have been feeling worse and worse and have almost no feeling of thirst. Since the second week I am extremely sensitive to headaches and insomnia. First I could not sleep through then it was only 3 hours of sleep per night with many interruptions and meanwhile sheep I partly not at all or only in the minutes area if it will be 30 min in one night I am meanwhile already happy. In addition, I am the corresponding permanently powerless but have an extreme urge to move and can not resist accompanied by hunger pangs and corresponding weight gain on average 3 kg per week. Now I take it for 5 weeks and have for 2 days an unpleasant feeling of heat of the facial skin and since 4 days, the skin in the genital area dried out and brittle which, for example, when washing is very painful because the foreskin gets each time entry. The worst thing for me is that my friends and family are suffering because I am constantly irritated and accordingly fast as the HB male go to the ceiling. Now I am in the process of sneaking out the prednisolone. From 75mg down to 50mg and continue in 10mg steps and then replace it with another drug.

    Prednisolone for Morbus crohn

prednisolone acis was prescribed for my crohn’s disease. It is one of those medications that you know have tremendous side effects, but you have to take them because you can not help it. When my crohn started three years ago, I had to take the drug for almost a year, up to the highest dose of 100 mg per day. overweight, full moon face, bulls neck, sweat attacks, hyperactivity, insomnia – all this has happened to me. after that it was slowly faded out. Now I take it back since yesterday days, because my chron has deteriorated rapidly and I can not stand it from pain. And lo and behold, an hour after taking the miracle happened, the intestinal rebellion came to a standstill, I cried with happiness, because this pain that drove me mad, subsided. I start to become human again. That’s why I accept all that there are side effects. until just a better, lasting solution for my illness is found and the pain of the drug humira, which has cost me almost three years of life quality because useless in my case, is over. Cortisone, like many other medicines that are just awesome, is important and good. the goal and purpose is that you can live reasonably well again, however. I am grateful that there is such a thing.
