So the remedy works relatively well, but I have increased 3.5 kg within 7 days after only 7 days! I advise everyone from the drug, which does not necessarily want to increase! Because an increase in weight is 100% sure.

    Zyprexa for Schizophrenia

Hello, I have been on 5mg Zyprexa for about 2 months and have gained 5kg since then. In addition, I feel a bit weak and listless, but that may not be due to the drug. But it helps against the delusions. Now I’m wondering if I can reduce the dose or try another medicine, because I do not want to continue to gain weight. Especially in the late afternoon and evening I get cravings, against which I do not arrive.

    Zyprexa for Schizophrenia

I took Zyprexa for 8 months. During this period, my menstrual period has completely stopped and I have gained about 5 kg. The dosage was always reduced during this period. I started with 20mg, then 15, 10 and finally 5 mg. Even after discontinuation of the drug, my menstrual period was still for 5 months. After discontinuing the drug, unfortunately, negative symptoms have developed, such as: negative thoughts, listlessness, depression. My psychiatrist has now prescribed me Abilify in conjunction with Tavor. Now I’m feeling better again – let’s see what other medicines bring.

    Zyprexa for Trauma

On 03.12.2000 I had a car accident with cerebral hemorrhage and was in a coma for 3 weeks. My first memories are from my Sofort Reha in Pulsnitz. At that time I was an acute patient in a closed ward. I got carbmazepine and an unknown amount of olanzapine (Zyprexa). I guess it was more than 50mg olanzapine or even more I got the day. My normal weight was about 70kg and I weighed through the Zyprexa suddenly over 80kg. The solution was on the package leaflet of Zyprexa, greater hunger and water retention. I did not have a stomach, but my whole body was crisp without end. My ass and wow. The side effect and one does his liver so nothing good. (Liver enlargement) My doctor told me that the Zyprexa produces female hormones and in my dosage beyond 30 mg my face has become rounder, the butt looked crisp, and looked just great. The side effects and one should renounce sex (you can not get high) and the eating behavior mutates into a feeding behavior. On the stuff and me on station and I have filled the rolls without end. The hunger feeling was the bright madness. Currently I’m still taking Zyprexa but my current 10mg Olanzapin and there is still synonymous with the sexuality. At the moment I weigh 86kg but this is just a little bit fatter. mfg Thomas (if you have questions, mail to supatommy1804@yahoo.de)

Zyprexa for Nausea; Obsessive compulsive disorder

slight weight gain (5kg), helps against nausea !, slightly gefuehlsminimierend, immediately settle (I’ve tried) I could not sleep (so I’ll take it) and had the feeling to be evil, somehow with the evil and something … 🙂 but it will soon try to reduce from 10 to 7.5mg, then the settling is certainly more pleasant.

    Zyprexa for Mania; Bipolar disorder

At the beginning of treatment with Zyprexa I had a slight headache with dizziness. In addition, the treatment with Zyprexa increased my weight by about 15 kg, which is not so bad because I was underweight. The dizziness has passed by now. Actually, I am quite satisfied with Zyprexa. In manic episodes it helps me very well. But the depressive symptoms can be reduced by Zyprexa and I sleep much better, because Zyprexa also makes me a little tired.

    Zyprexa for Delusion; Depression

My experience with Zyprexa and Zoloft is great, I became a new person through it. Unfortunately, not everyone can say that, as I have to read here in this forum. Anyway, all positive main effects have occurred and only 1 side effect: 23 kg weight gain. I did not care, because I always had 20 kg too little for my length anyway; now I have normal weight and my soul does not suffer anymore. Although it is a bit of a strange life, if you are only well with medication and I do not know how long my body will participate. But I rather say short and well lived than long and shitty. My liver values, blood count and so are top, all in the NB. But I can not make a recommendation because everyone reacts differently. And as far as the price – performance ratio is concerned, does a drug have to be so porky ??? Eli Lilly is fine, lol!

    Zyprexa for Obsessive compulsive disorder

Is a Medikanment with which I could work well. Belongs next to Tabor to the only drugs, which I associate with positive thoughts. It also strengthens the spirits. Forced thoughts were very quickly very limited. The package size was impractical, 10 weeks ration are stupid, 12 weeks would be much more practical (because of appointments with the doctor). Weight gain was acceptable at the first time, 1 kg per month. Wide feet have remained (from 45 to 46). The second time, I had to drop it after 5 weeks, because I have gained 2 kilos per week and I could hardly limit my passions. Initially buying spree, then increased urge for beer, and cigarettes, and sweets, 500 gram cake in the evening no problem. Since I stopped smoking with Champix, I had to sell Zyprexa, the addiction pressure was almost unbearable. No withdrawal symptoms. Instead of Zyprexa, I now regularly play brain jogging, at least as well. Do not laugh, try it!

Zyprexa for Schizophrenia; Obsessive compulsive disorder

At first I only got (inpatient) Zyprexa prescribed-whereby the medical doctor who had also-as it seemed to me-had used out of a trial mood paired with helplessness. But he did a little luck with it. At least if you have already tried almost all atypicals with mostly strong side effects (like constant resting heart rate above 100 (with Seroquel), restlessness (with Solian), parkinsonoid (with Abilify and Risperdal).) Then again about 6 weeks after the inpatient discharge psychotic I then spent more than three years tinkering with the dose of Zyprexa (between 5mg-30mg) in order to deal with the remaining compulsive impulses, but on this Zyprexa had no effect, so I started taking Lorazepam ( However, this has only dampened the fears associated with the obsessive-compulsive impulses / thoughts. Finally, I have discontinued the antidepressant Cymbalta before half-a-half (actually unsuitable for schizophrenia with obsessive-compulsive impulses) and replaced with sertraline (also here maximum ambulant dose 200mg) and that has then completely shot down my bird he rarely (not at all) in frightening situations of coercion and have for a half year a constant dose of 10mg Zyprexa, 200mg Sertraline and 2mg Lorazepam (Tavor). Since then, I have no more mental limitations and do not waste any time trying out anything new, let alone rummaging back on the dose (that’s pure poison!). Note, of course, I also had the strong compulsory weight gain of Zyprexa: from 60Kg on up to 82kg – today I am constantly between 73kg-75kg.

    Zyprexa for Depression

I take Cypralex 15 mg and Zyprexa 5 mg since May 2010 because of my depression. At first I just took the Cypralex. what I’ve done well and to Seroquel to sleep. Had only mild Muselkrämpfe of the Seroquel, but had little effect against my sleep difficulties. My psychiatrist then switched me to Zypralex. Since then I’ve gained 12 pounds! Am constantly tired during the day, although I sleep for 8 to 9 hours. Feel like getting whipped up, which may be due to the confused nightmares I’ve had since Zyprexa. Have 4 weeks ago made a weaning attempt, which has led to total insomnia, dizziness and palpitations. Take it again. But I really want to get rid of it and will try again soon. Can only advise against it.

    Zyprexa for Psychosis

I’ve been taking Zyprexa for two months now. I have had more than bad experiences with it. I grew enormously, feeling sluggish, lethargic, almost all the time. At a later date, speech disorders were added. In addition, I have many of the side effects mentioned in the leaflet with me: weakness, slight tremors, anxiety, very poor liver enzymes, …

    Zyprexa for Psychosis

Weight gain about 15 kg in 15 years, type 1 diabetes is 13 years. Problems with diabetes adjustment. From 10 mg dizziness, digestive problems, drowsiness, severe fears. But note that I need the dosage. Since 2002 not a heavy boost. Pendle between 7.5 and 10mg. Should be switched to Seroquel because of diabetes. I do not know exactly how to make this change. Maybe I have considered in day clinic. Who has experience?

    Zyprexa for Sleep disorders

After being put into psychotic state due to current sleep deprivation caused by psychoterror of my ex-husband, I was deported by him to psychiatry and unreflectively classified by the local doctors as allegedly manic and sedated with Zyprexa. I was told that I was terminally ill and now I have to take it all my life because otherwise I’ll be permanently in psychiatry (iatrogenic Noxe). Already after 3 weeks I felt severe side effects, which I was never informed, especially so-called extrapyramidal motor disorders (EPS), starting with tasikinesia, then akathisia. It was no longer possible for me to sit for even 5 seconds, I had to walk around daily for up to 16 hours to relieve myself, standing still was impossible, I could not even endure more than 2 subway stations. Every day I got a severe panic attack, which I noticed a self-alienation and could not assign these disorders for lack of information. It’s logical. The otherwise with me very good spatial thinking was quickly so limited that I could go only on my known ways, traveling was impossible, and I was after 2 months for months completely unfit for work (architect). Strong weight gain followed, photosensitivity (I could not stay in the sone anymore). An eosinophilia occurred, insomnia and tremor appeared, and strong feelings of anxiety (because of the personality changes / self-alienation and the EPS, which I did not even know by name). Despite all signs of EPS and my search for help in the hospital I was ignored for months, I was given against the EPS Temesta, but I had to sell after 4 weeks because of dependence risk, with the heavy EPS I was left alone. I was constantly tired, had hardly any impetus and fell into an akinetic Abulic syndrome. Because of the serious side effects, and because I was only able to walk in circles all the time because of the EPS, so I could not concentrate on anything anymore, I finally did not want to live anymore. After 6 months of suffering, a hospital doctor who made me suffer for months then deposed Zyprexa. This was followed by a drug withdrawal of several months, which was mainly with sleep disorders, restlessness, tremor, listlessness and digestive problems. The EPS were completely gone after weaning after 4 (!) Days, I wonder today why I had to go such a long ordeal. I took a tardive dyskinesia because I took the drug for 6 months. This manifests itself in occasional uncontrolled leg twitching, sometimes with a short screwing motion, and twitching in the facial muscles, none of which I ever had before taking Zyprexa.
