    Prednisolone for Idiopathic thrombocytopenic

Prednisolone and Decordin are easy to use, actually quite well tolerated. But you should definitely take a stomach remedy at the same time. The biggest side effect is certainly the full moon face and the weight gain, depending on how mg mg daily one must take. For Dexamethasone I must say I had a side effect, which had put a lot of strain on me – inflammation in all joints, so that I could no longer stretch my limbs / bend and had pain. Weight gain and the full moon face is the same as the prednisolone. In MabThera infusion (rituximab), I had mild mucosal inflammation in the mouth, mild inflamed scalp, mild overgrowth and fatigue. Especially during the first 4 sessions. Since I have these infusions (which always over 4 weeks and a week goes one) in the last 4 years, 3 times behind me, I can say that I had in subsequent sessions, these side effects were not so much.

    Prednisolone for Bell's palsy

Treatment with prednisolone (1st infusion, then daily 100mg for 5 days) had hardly any effect on the paralysis of the face, which is not uncommon in this disease. In fact, I suffer more from the side effects of the drug than from the disease itself. I felt very tired or very hyperactive since the second day of taking it, which could change every hour. I’m hardly able to drive or follow a more complex conversation. My otherwise over-punctual cycle has been postponed by 4 days, and that after 3 days of taking … In addition, I have increased 3 kg. Cortisone may be a great drug, but I’ll get an alternative treatment. Do not want to know what a long-term therapy must be like this!

    Prednisolone for Collagen defect

Due to the drug, unfortunately, I got the well-known full moon face in a short time, and gained a lot of weight. Whether it is extra weight or water retention, I can not say exactly, but I feel very uncomfortable in the form. In addition, I often had severe headaches at the beginning of treatment. Otherwise, the drug acts like doping, you are wide awake and can not sleep well. If the illness were not so painful, I would immediately give up the drug.

    Prednisolone for Dizziness; Tinnitus

As part of my treatment of the acoustic neuroma and after stationary stay in the hospital for infusion treatment according to Stennert (to the actual infusion also cortisone was administered intravenously), my ENT doctor prescribed me to taper the therapy prednisolone in small doses. Since I myself tend to underweight and due to lack of hormones (premature birth) as a man have a quite feminine appearance (high voice, poor ability to build muscle), (my twin brother had the testes within the body at birth), I had the side effects of this Therapy rather benefit! I craved and gained 5 kilograms of body weight within a week. Instead of the otherwise spurned drinking water I took 2 liters of it daily and ate like a pregnant woman or a caterpillar, and also things that I never wanted to eat before, especially a lot of cheese and twice to three times the amount of meat, but also more fruit and chocolate, although I previously ate 1-2 plates a month. I never had a feeling of fullness, at most I could tell from the pressure in my stomach that it was enough. My conclusion: When I read the package leaflet, it was no wonder to me that this drug leads to positive doping tests (probably just in the field of weight training), and it also surprised me not that this hormone-based drug can make one aggressive , However, it only made me a little impatient, energetic and (original sound of my partner) more masculine. Especially skinny and feminine men need not worry about this drug, people who tend to be overweight anyway and massive hormones probably already have.

    Prednisolone for Allergy

So I got the medication from my pulmonologist last year. Only if I get a Astmaanfall. I daruafhin but rarely needed. Hyposensitization started last year and then I stopped it as needed. Only this year I have taken it more often. And yes, the side effects were pretty blatant, immune system severely weakened, immaturity, fatigue, weight gain (mild), water retention in the legs thinking I’ll go down the Earth from dosing or switch to another preparation.

    Prednisolone for Morbus crohn

Hello, Aza had taken to get away from the cortisone, but got a bad pancreatitis (pancreatitis) with hellish bumping, then rather the Chron. Then I got a long time Humira injections, in this time the Chron was barely noticeable really great. I hardly noticed side effects, only permanent mucus in the throat area (neck), which at night occasionally led to snoring. Disadvantage are the late consequences, which are not yet to estimate, which is why I now pause with Humira. Now I have Sulfasalazine, feeling tired, weight gain, fatigue and diarrhea day after day. So far not exactly the perfect solution. I also take prednisolone from time to time against joint pain, which probably has the most terrible side effects in the long run. Moon face, fast weight gain, bone loss, dependence. After 3 years of daily cortisone intake, withdrawal of the drug is difficult for the body. I suffered from bad tiredness because my body had to produce the active ingredient again.

    Prednisolone for Morbus crohn

I started with 60mg for 10 days. The first side effects were fast, I gained 10 kilos, got a big belly and a big face. Joint pain, severe reflux, swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, loss of libido, and irritability set in during treatment. At 20mg the complaints started from the beginning, the dosage was increased again to 50mg. Since the cortisone seems to have a bad effect, it should now be an immunosuppressant. I’m a bit clueless now and do not know if that’s the right thing. The use of cortisone, however, should be treated with caution in any case.

    Prednisolone for Sarcoidosis

Because of the sarcoidosis, I first have 40mg for 3 weeks, then 30mg for 4 weeks, then 5mg down every 4 weeks and the remaining time 5mg per day. Side effects were on the first day by shaking to notice, after 3 weeks I was totally pampered, my environment was shocked, even strangers spoke to me I would not look good if everything was ok. In the 4 months I have 19Kg increased, of which were apparently 5Kg of water went down immediately after discontinuation down, the rest is persistent and can be difficult to get rid of even with diet and sports.

    Prednisolone for Ulcerative colitis

In March of this year, I found a left-sided CU. My iron supply was almost completely used up and my blood value was 5.8! Initially, I received 40 mg cortisone and 3 mg mesalazine (salofalk), iron tablets (ferro sanol) and a blood transfusion at the hospital. Later, vitamin supplements (ideos and calcium) were added to prevent osteoporosis. My doctor wanted to creep cortisone secretly, I would now (in August) actually at 2.5 mg, but have been a few weeks, unfortunately, a boost. Cortison helps in high doses … I’ve already got the mesalazine on suspicion a year ago, alone it only helped me two weeks back then. Unfortunately, my cortisone increased my weight significantly (from 58 to 75 kg!), Especially on my stomach, hips and thighs. Due to the fast weight gain, my skin is at o.g. Strongly torn. I also got a moon face. At first I had severe pain in the left half of my body, so I could hardly breathe and I was ALWAYS hungry !!! I got broom tears on my lower legs. Of the iron tablets in the morning is always bad and I get a belly and constipation. Tomorrow I have a doctor’s appointment, let’s see …

I started in the first week with 20mg and then every week lowered by 2.5mg down to 5mg. For the first two weeks I was still fine. Often had red cheeks and about an hour after taking mild pain in the kidney area. But from the third week it went downhill continuously … I got more pimples and generally had an exciting, thin skin. There were also headaches, only light but persistent. In addition, high blood pressure, palpitations, sweating, nervousness, blurred vision, water retention, weakness, difficulty concentrating, cravings …. The list is long. For short-term use, it is a good thing, but with prolonged use, I would weigh … Only for me, if it is not otherwise unbearable.
