Prednisolone for Difficulty in breathing; Skin rash; Allergy

I suffer for years under a year-old allergy but in the summer is particularly bad and I’m about to suffocate. Antihistamines (eg Cetrizine, Aerius, Telfast, Loratadin, ..) brought nothing except fatigue, mast cell stabilizers brought nothing, natural remedies (like black cumin, …), even the Volon A syringe (cortisone) brought little improvement. The only thing that helped was Prednisolone Tabs (20mg) .1-2 tabs daily. Side effects: increased appetite occasional palpitations dizziness headache

    Prednisolone for Bell's palsy

Because of peripheral facial palsy I need to take Prednisolone, 100 mg for the first 7 days, then dose down for 9 days. The paresis has not improved so far, but in the course of treatment, more side effects of cortisone occur. At the beginning it was just an evening headache, today on day 7 I had some incredibly weak legs and constantly on the toilet. From tomorrow will be dosed down luckily.

    Prednisolone for Collagen defect

Due to the drug, unfortunately, I got the well-known full moon face in a short time, and gained a lot of weight. Whether it is extra weight or water retention, I can not say exactly, but I feel very uncomfortable in the form. In addition, I often had severe headaches at the beginning of treatment. Otherwise, the drug acts like doping, you are wide awake and can not sleep well. If the illness were not so painful, I would immediately give up the drug.

I started in the first week with 20mg and then every week lowered by 2.5mg down to 5mg. For the first two weeks I was still fine. Often had red cheeks and about an hour after taking mild pain in the kidney area. But from the third week it went downhill continuously … I got more pimples and generally had an exciting, thin skin. There were also headaches, only light but persistent. In addition, high blood pressure, palpitations, sweating, nervousness, blurred vision, water retention, weakness, difficulty concentrating, cravings …. The list is long. For short-term use, it is a good thing, but with prolonged use, I would weigh … Only for me, if it is not otherwise unbearable.

When I was admitted with my inflammation in the university hospital, I got the cortisone first on the vein, so it works faster, that went on for 5 days. Was then discharged and had to take tablets 100mg at the beginning and then in 10 he / per steps downwards. It hit well and the inflammation is gone. Am now at 70 mg and the side effects are annoying. My blood pressure fluctuates constantly from heart racing not to mention, sleep disturbances and at night I wake up totally sweaty. Water retention on stomach and face. Luckily, I have no stomach problems because I get my own tablets for protection. I feel uncomfortable in my own body since taking it and am constantly depressed or irritated. Now and then headaches occur 1 hour after the intake, which are not strong, but it disturbs the concentration. My blood values are up to the leukocytes (with me 19 – normal value is to 10) ok. On top of that, I usually feel very powerless.

    Prednisolone for Tinnitus

Yesterday started taking. On the first day, tinnitus decreased significantly in the near future. This morning after the second intake, the flushing of the face with fever and headache also started very soon. Everything still bearable but I will stop taking.

    Side effects: Fever; Headache

    Prednisolone for Sudden hearing loss

Slight mood swings (depression), slight headache / pressure, slight sleep disturbance on the second day in the morning flushing of the face (like light sunburn), which disappeared during the day and then soft, light, smooth skin, positive side effect (original prescription for hearing loss): problems in the Knee joint (which had previously been acute for several weeks but was not treated) were barely there after two or three days, otherwise seasonally allergic reactions (acute pollen susceptibility) were reduced or even absent.

    Prednisolone for Tinnitus

When I went to ENT for tinnitus, I was prescribed cortisone (prednisolone). I know cortisone very well because my son has 5 years of Duchenne muscular dystrophy and also gets cortisone, but one with fewer side effects (Calcort). So my experience on the first day, with prednisolone today took 4 x 50mg. and constantly on the toilet, after a few hours I got extreme back pain, had very high blood pressure during the day and the pulse as if I was running a Maraton. 161 pulse and blood pressure 151 to 122. So I’m not convinced of the zeuch, but wait and see the cure is not over yet. the remaining days should be taken 3 x 50mg, 2 x 50mg and then 1 x 50mg.
