    Trileptal for Epilepsy

With Keppra you gain weight and if you take too much of it you are over-twisted. And have difficulties with it to go. With Ergenyl and Trileptal you become tired and the appetite subsides. I was underweight for 3 decades due to lack of appetite and was more of a cure for that. And the tiredness has influenced my educational achievements and professional achievements. Good for calming the seizures, for the day not so good. But I also have all the treatment methods by which my seizures come into question.

I was given this drug because doctors claim I am manic-depressive. There were already some drug experiments on me, which all showed serious side effects, including Trileptal. It does not appear from the package leaflet that it is approved for this purpose at all. NW: Severe fatigue, apathy to apathy, weight gain (although not as strong as Depakine or Convulex), significant sleep disorders (especially sleep problems despite all sleeping pills and relaxation techniques I know), strong mood swings, lack of concentration, sometimes strong tremor, always strong Hair loss, unexplained purple spots on the skin, itching, recurrent nausea, dose increase (over 900 mg), the sodium balance is disturbed immediately and double vision for several hours a day occurred. Trittico was also given to me temporarily, and the combination of these two medications for about 4 months led to a severe psychiatric crisis for sleep deprivation for more than 4 days a few months ago (I could not go back to sleep, no matter what I did) Sleeping pills were useless). For the most part I have had unusual mood swings since the first treatment. Currently, I have Trileptal for 3 months very slowly creep out with medical help, and 150 mg daily still have high fatigue to apathy (although no longer persistent), hair loss, blurred vision, about 4 times a week tremor at bedtime (which is falling asleep strongly disturbing), nausea (but now less often), difficulty falling asleep (which are already getting better, because the tremor is rarer). The concentration disorders have become better, I attribute this to now better sleep and lower dosage. The mood swings have practically disappeared. At the end of the year, I am detoxified and I hope that I have not suffered further irreversible iatrogenic disorders, as with other medications.

    Trileptal for Epilepsy

Hello everyone, I’ve been taking Trileptal for almost 9 years now. I am an epileptic and I have to say that the medicine helped me a lot, because I did not have seizures for years. However, I’m so worried because the side effects are very serious. For example, I feel very tired and tired after taking the medication, sometimes I am extremely dizzy, bad and I see twice and much more. In addition, I am now in an age in which child planning already plays a role and Trileptal is unfortunately a major obstacle.

    Trileptal for Epilepsy

Absense Epilepsy with Complex Absences Dosage / Conversion 2001: 1200-1200 mg 2003: 900-1200 mg 2005: 900-300-900 mg 2007: 900-900 mg since 2009: 600-900 mg My epilepsy was noticed by the fact that it was after several sporting events in the locker room ended with a seizure. I had spent so much on games that I just fell over and cramped. My Absencen appeared in the sleep, so that they were not noticed before. At the beginning of the treatment I had extreme side effects, as we started with the maximum dose for myself. It started with extreme tiredness and loss of concentration. This was followed by migraines, blurred vision and even double vision with dizziness and nausea after each intake. More and more frequently found word-finding disorders that developed into a massive speech disorder. At school I had the choice between sitting or changing school. After the dose was stopped, the side effects were less again. Currently I have only side effects when I take my medication not punctual. I do not forget to take it, but I have nothing to drink near it. 30 minutes after the regular intake time, my body begins to tell me something is missing. My hands start to shake or even the whole body, my concentration goes into the basement. No wonder after 11 years, my body is totally dependent on the stuff. Withdrawal symptoms with a dose reduction: whole body tremors, sleep problems, fast tachycardia, sleepwalking and depression .. over 2 -3 weeks – I spend the 1 week of it in the hospital.
