    Seroquel for Psychosis

I was 3 years on clozapine because of a severe psychosis. Generally good effect – I just could not shock or throw off track. For working people rather not suitable. Anyway, I had a hard time working. (tired, lethargic – just wanted my rest) Then came Abilify because I had bad blood levels. At first the bright madness (positive meant :-)) – fit, concentrated and totally self-confident. Just awesome – then I could not sleep at night anymore. Thought that will be back. Well that was 10 weeks like this: then unfortunately a new boost. (Stay awake at night and keep brooding) Now I’ve got Seroquel. Right now I’m fine: fit and in good shape during the day (Abilify) – At night I sleep like an angel (Seroquel prolong). Hope it stays that way now! Best regards

Seroquel for Drive disorders; Mood swings; Bipolar disorder; Depression

I also voted against my Bipolar Affective Disorder Manic Depressive Disease called these two medications together with my doctor after several years of searching in vain for the right medication. At the beginning, every fortnight I wavered between low mood and unnoticed hypomania. When I did not pay much attention to it and continued to work 60-70 hours a week and in the meantime gave birth to 2 children, it became so bad that I took the eighth train of the emotions on the same day at least once , Today I know why I got this disease as a gift. Back in my teens, when I had very severe acne, my doctor prescribed me a drug called Roaccutan as a last resort, which allegedly drove at least 9 people into suicide. I was lucky enough to be able to control my suicidal thoughts and have myself admitted to open psychiatry. There I was prescribed lithium first. Then they experimented with different drugs from Trevilor to Zeldox or Atypical Neuroleptics like Sulpiride in small doses. But whenever the medications had helped for a few days, the effect simply stopped after certain times. And especially the hypomania was gone but the shit …… Depris were always there and I could not be happy anymore and always had something like a stone in the pit of my stomach. Until I found the combination myself with my doctor. The Seroquel helps me to protect myself in both directions. It helps me more against the exhausting hypo or partial mania. But it does not help enough against depression. That’s why I tried fluoxetine, and lo and behold, both drugs in combination have totally changed my life. When my doctor returned from the congress he said that for bipolar people it is the best combination right now to take these two medicines. At the beginning I had the lithium in addition to the seroquel and fluoxetine. I have asked my doctor to omit the exhausting lithium. He agreed and it came as it had to come. I became so manic that I became aggressive and turned on some people totally and turned off completely. When I was in the open two weeks, I was the seroquel increased by 50% and reduced the driving fluoxetine to a single dose. Since this hospitalization I have now the dose in the morning 100mg Seroquel and 20mg Fluoxetine. In the evening I take now 400mg Seroquel and that’s it. Since then, I feel something of normal as years no longer. I have no big weight gain from the Seroquel and then only between 2 and 4 kilograms. I was always tired and broken at the beginning with the treatment of Seroquel and did not get out of bed. This has changed with the dose increase. I can think clearer again and I can remember things again. So exactly the opposite what others are reporting here about the Seroquel. I have had the best experience with Seroquel and Fluoxetine. And if I have Parkinson’s in 20 years I do not care. Because then at least I was allowed to experience my good years in a normal and joyful way. I wish you all that it may be the same with you as with me. It took me almost 5 years to find the right medication.

    Seroquel for Social phobia; Depression

My mood has improved a bit at the beginning, although it was unclear whether it was due to the drug. After (longer) intake of 2-3 months, however, no positive effect was felt, neither on the depression nor on the social phobia, so I had to discontinue the drug again. My dose was 100mg in the morning retard and in the evening 100mg to sleep, which worked very well by the drug. In combination with other medications, restless legs syndrome frequently occurred.

    Seroquel for Dissociative disturbance

At the beginning I took Seroquel prolong 100 mg in the evening. I was very slowed down. Was only tired. I felt like someone put the handbrake on me. That did not get much better with only 50 mg. Now I take 50 mg of Seroquel without this prolong. Also in the evening. My tiredness and listlessness is not that strong anymore.

    Seroquel for Delusion

I took this medication for an evening instead of 300 mg, 1500 mg because I was in very bad shape. However, it did not get to me. I was very tired the next day, had a bad headache and talked very weird and then had to go to my doctor as an emergency. Hours later I felt better again. If you need to take this medicine, then only the prescribed dose.

Seroquel for High blood pressure; Heart rhythm disturbances; Post-traumatic stress disorder; Borderline; Depression

For over 4 months, I have taken the first 3 drugs mentioned above in the clinic. 400-500 mg Seroquel, initially 45, then 30 mg mirtazipine and 1-1.5 mg lorazepam. Initially, heavy weight gain (11 kg), continued hunger for sweets, meanwhile I have lost half of my hair. I have been suffering from hair loss for about 2.5 months, need more sleep and get up very hard in the morning. My liver values have been slightly elevated since taking the medication and must be constantly monitored.

Since taking the cholesterol has steadily worsened. Even after discontinuing the drug, he could not be normalized again. That’s about 3 years ago. In addition, extreme tiredness, nausea, migraines and circulatory disturbances plagued me, but these normalized after discontinuation of the medication of some extent.

Seroquel for Thinking disorders; Psychological instability; Depression

Fatigue 20 minutes after ingestion. Think that the effect of the Seroquel comes to the night through the ingestion of the Cymbalta in the morning reinforced again, because I’m not tired after getting up. Since taking in the afternoon of Cymbalta this side effect is missing.

Seroquel for Mania; Bipolar disorder; Sleep disorders

I am 22 years old and was treated with Olanzapine (Zyprexa) due to psychosis (plus panic attacks and sleep disturbances), which made me hardly sleep for 14 hours and more after just 3 weeks. At the moment, Zyprexa’s blessing was bad. I thought I would never be able to be normal again and continue to push very tiring panic attacks every day. Then, as part of a psychotherapy, Bipolar Disorder was detected and I was put on Abilify and Sertraline (SSRI). After about 5 months, the sertraline was spilled out and since then I’m only taking Abilify. At manic times up to 15mg and at the moment only 5mg. At first I had extreme twitches from Abilify which bothered me as well as my boyfriend. The convulsions did not go away but you learn to live with them and they are less exhausting than living through a mania. By and large, I’m happy with my life, no panic attacks for 2 years and no depressive or manic phase since I started psychotherapy. Abilify helps me curb my thoughts, which usually go through my head like an extremely loud train. Less focused thoughts.
