    Ramipril for High blood pressure

The drug works well but the side effects are sometimes distressing and especially the increasing anxiety conditions are bothering me !! Must necessarily audition the doctor! Side effects that I have observed with me: irritating cough with sweet-tasting sputum, tiredness and lack of drive, seizure usually associated with a coughing attack, initial weight loss and now increase, beginning anxiety and panic states

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

from the beginning around the clock strong coughing fits, so I hardly come to rest at night. During the day I am as if turned by the mill: hardly powerful, without drive and really just always wants to lie. Always have a lump in my throat, so I have to clear my throat without pause. This is especially bad if i drink a glass of water, then the neck is taped and I keep clearing my throat for up to 20 minutes at a time. This often gives me the feeling that the whole neck is raw like the bronchi. I asked the cardiologist for the cause, which said that it has nothing to do with the drug. Only a pharmacist told me on the head that the cause of the problem is Ramipril. I will address my cardiologist again and ask for a change of the drug.

After a heart attack, the drugs Simvastatin, Ramipril and ASA were prescribed. I took these drugs 4 years. First of all, fatigue and exhaustion became noticeable. In the further course, a gastric ulcer was added, that according to the doctor was due to acetylsalicylic acid (in ASA). Treated with Omep, the ulcer could be eliminated. As further side effects spasms in the fingers and toes were noticeable. Likewise, after prolonged use of the drugs, erectile dysfunction became noticeable. When I got an itchy rash on my arms and legs a few weeks ago, I stopped taking the medication. After that, I noticed that the prolonged fatigue and fatigue no longer existed and spasms no longer occurred. In the case of erectile dysfunction, only minimal improvement is noticeable at the moment, but it is present. To what extent this condition will improve in the course of the next few months, I can not say at the present time yet. Conclusion: Which of the drugs in detail for the side effects is responsible I can not say because I also feel little desire to test each one individually.

Ramipril for Heart rhythm disturbances; High blood pressure

The hypotensive effect of bisoprolol, amlodipine, captopril and ramipril is unpredictable and varies according to mood. That’s why I need to check blood pressure and heart rate regularly. There are now also very good electronic blood pressure monitors that warn at the same time of arrhythmias and atrial fibrillation. The hypotensive effect of Nitrolingual Acute Spray in a hypertensive emergency is excellent and can be achieved within a few minutes. The acid-inhibiting effect of omeprazole is excellent. This drug is also freely available in pharmacies. For benzodiazepines, such as bromazepam, extreme caution is required because of the risk of dependency. Luckily, I have never had withdrawal symptoms. Is probably genetic and extremely rare. As a rule, withdrawal of benzodiazepines is more difficult and protracted than alcohol or even heroin withdrawal. Otherwise, this drug works wonders for me. It lowers the blood pressure in addition to the antihypertensive drugs and helps me even in depression and of course in anxiety disorders to panic attacks. However, this drug works differently in every human being and triggers severe mental and physical dependency on most people. So, extreme caution when taking the substance group of benzodiazepines! I know enough people who could ever get away from benzodiazepines with great difficulty, if any. Very few people, to whom I also thank God, have the great fortune to be able to sell this medicine group safely and without horrible withdrawal symptoms. However, I do not take this medication regularly and not in large doses. The effect of this drug decreases very rapidly with prolonged use because the body is slowing down the production of GABA. Ergo with decreasing effect on no case increase the dose, but better to take a longer break! Then the preparation also works again as desired. This group of substances can also lead to atypical effects.

I take half a 5mg in the morning and in the evening. Mild to strong eyes and headache. Itching and stinging in the eyes and dehydration of the mucous membranes especially in the eye and resulting infections in the eye. About 30 minutes after the intake, the vision is reduced by a veil in the eyes. Mild to severe tiredness. Gel coloration of the eye white, deterioration of the liver values (jaundice, jaundice). Rarely occurring kidney pain. I stopped ramipril after a year, all symptoms gradually disappeared. The blood pressure naturally increased again. After about 6 months ramipril free, I started taking it again and all the tormenting symptoms started again. Conclusion: terrible side effects !!!

Side effects: Poor eyesight; Headache; Fatigue

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

Fatigue, lethargy, muscle spasms, severe pain on the foot tendon, problems with potency, increasing the medication to 5 mg fainting sensations, chest pressure, feeling unwell. Accompanying a slight urinary incontinence is detected. I took this medicine for several months. First, I have the o.g. Misbehaviors were not recognized as side effects of ramipril as they developed. After stopping it was suddenly better. On the advice / prescription of the cardiologist, a second attempt was made, but stopped immediately, since the side effects were now directly and more detectable. Since then, I no longer take the drug. The intake due to hypertension (hoped for lowering blood pressure) did not provide sufficient effect. Sometimes the opposite was the case, whereupon (as described above) the cardiologist prescribed the double medication (2.5 mg twice daily). This was the reason why I stopped taking Ramipril completely.

I first took two years of ramipril. High blood pressure was reduced slightly, but not the protein in the urine. For a year now, I have also been taking Micardis. At the beginning, I had mild problems, as the blood pressure was sometimes too low-circulatory problems. But the blood pressure was then under control. Not too high-not too low. The protein excretion in the urine dropped significantly. However, I have the feeling that I am becoming increasingly impotent, sometimes I have mild depression. I’m always tired, sometimes even sleeping. In addition, for a few months now I have been suffering from severe itching in various places, mainly on the palms of my hands and on the soles of my feet. However, it has not been proven to date whether these negative effects can be attributed to the drugs.

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

I started with 5mg then 2.5mg and finally 1 / 2×2.5mg. Side effects would be fatigue, heavy sweating and no performance improvements possible. Practically I could sleep again after breakfast. In the end, my cardiologist has completely discontinued it.

First, I started with ramipril therapy with good initial success (regression of proteinuria). Initially, I had problems with the circulation because of the subsequent drop in blood pressure. After stagnant proteinuria Atacand was added. This was followed by another strong circulation problems. Meanwhile, I tolerate both well, proteinuria is now less than 1 g. Now and then I have some difficulty with fatigue and dizziness, but keeps within limits

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

I was prescribed Ramipril 5mg because of my high blood pressure (mostly 175-180 / 105-110). For the first two days, I had a bit of a severe drop in blood pressure, fatigue and a mild irritable cough (I am an asthma patient). Already after a week, my blood pressure has stabilized to ideal levels and the tiredness and the irritating cough have disappeared.
