    Methotrexate for Arthritis

I took methotrexate in tablet form for almost three years. For about 3 months I switched to syringes (Metex), because the tablets did not work so well. Since I inject, I’m fine. No pain, no joint swelling anymore. The compatibility of Metex is doing quite well so far. Two days after the injection, however, I am extremely tired and would prefer to stay at home, working hard for me then. I have not been upset yet. For a few weeks, however, I have a heavy Bizzeln in the feet, which is often painful. Now a polyneuropathy has been diagnosed and I very much hope that this polyneuropathy is not related to the metex. I am not diabetic! Has anyone had a similar experience?

Have injected the syringe once a week in the stomach. The next day I had only bad stomach problems and was tired. Then I went over to inject the syringe Saturday evenings, so I had no stomach ache during the night and I had Sunday time to lay down if necessary and to swallow stomach tablets. Meanwhile swallowed painkillers. Methotrexate have been discontinued for 6 weeks now, now I have TMJ pain and knee pain.
