    Fentanyl for Pain (back)

So now I have been in treatment for 5 years because of my back pain so far I have always taken Oxigesic 20mg several times a day but since my back pain got worse I have now set to fentanyl 25μ / h and I have to say my pain is almost gone! Side effects with me are tiredness even when I get up in the morning I could sleep right back and my eyes are partially closed correctly. Well sometimes I have such a sense of disorientation and can not really grasp a thought. And last but not least, I sometimes have strong sweats at night, but all in all you can live with it just driving a car I leave at the moment.

    Side effects: Fatigue

    Fentanyl for Pain (chronic)

After an operation on the sternum, I suffer from chronic pain. I started with the strongest Tilidin, Katadolon and Saroten. Unfortunately, this did not help against the pain at all. So I got Fentanylpflaster 50 micrograms, change every 2 days, otherwise on the 3rd day the strong pain is back completely. If necessary I take ibuprofen 600mg and tramadol and in the evening 1 saroten (amitriptyline). On most days, I tolerate the patches quite well. At first I had constipation, now only rarely. Among other things, I have sweats now and then, fatigue, but what is bearable, worse are the days when you have depressive mood swings and anxiety, but thank God not too often occur. I have not been able to drive until now, but I will start again soon. Of the other drugs I have no side effects. But I usually do not even notice the analgesic effect of ibuprofen. Side effects are summarized by fentanyl: sweating, constipation, fatigue, anxiety disorders and depressive mood swings

Fentanyl for Disc prolapse; Pain (chronic)

the first 3 weeks I was pretty dirty, almost the whole time have lain. (lying down it was just fine, as soon as I wanted to get up I was sick). It continued for about 3-4 months with fatigue, malaise, sweats. After half a year, I was able to work again. But I do not keep it for 3 days, change every 2 days (in the morning), but the next night can sleep bad, I scratch my whole body. Every second evening, take 1 Fluninoc tablet for at least half a year to be able to sleep at least. Have lost in the last 3 years 24 kg, which was a welcome side effect.

Side effects: Weight loss; Sweats; Nausea; Fatigue

Fentanyl for Pain (acute); Pain (chronic)

The worst thing for me is that despite the many medications, I still have a lot of pain and the side effects are just as bad. In addition to constipation and very heavy sweating, I suffer especially from the strong depression and constant fatigue.

  7. Phyllis R. Okamoto says:

I received Fentanyl for severe pain after rib fracture. I hardly had any pain anymore, only when lying on my side. I felt the easing of the effect after 3 days clearly. The side effect is only partially bearable. First of all nausea, lack of appetite, heavy sweating, constipation, tiredness, disorientation and in general the feeling to have int. After weaning, withdrawal symptoms such as restlessness, sleep disturbances, depression, listlessness and severe aggression were added.

    Fentanyl for Fibromyalgia

The side effects are high, although the benefit is questionable. Furthermore, I think everyone should take good care to take fentanyl. Trying to stop this, withdrawal symptoms appear. For my part, I will reduce all medication and would rather sit in a wheelchair. Unfortunately it is not possible to help me better in this day and age.

    Side effects: Listlessness; Headache; Fatigue

    Fentanyl for Disc prolapse

My pain level has become bearable. From former strength 7/8 I’m now through the pavement at 2-3. I can tolerate that. However, the NW increasingly burden me more and more. I do not remember when I was really awake the last time. The constant tiredness paralyzes all activities with me. In addition, reluctance to eat or lack of appetite and blurred vision has been coming for several months. Will try to find another solution with my pain doctor. NW: constant tiredness, loss of appetite, blurred vision, sleep disorders despite tiredness and sweating

    Fentanyl for Pain (back)

In the beginning Fentanyl is great but over a long period of time, like Fentanyl did not help me with the pain I was always tired and lost a lot of weight, I had no strength and no hunger anymore and that gets worse and worse , I was listless could not bring the simple sentences together, and my mood was down and over a period of over 10 years, the withdrawal of this stuff is quite terrible, in the beginning it is not so bad because the dosage slow but then it really starts when your body asks for fentanyl, your body shakes, you can not sleep and your whole body shakes, in a week I slept only 3 hours and that over a period of 6 months, at the end I still had 62 kg with a height of 1.83. My weight after one year is 88 Kg. and those are the consequences of weight gain and men having erectile dysfunctions just like me, I can only say one thing, Fentanyl is terribly dangerous for a long time, the withdrawal was hell and me I still struggle with the withdrawal, it is an addiction drug and I would have died near if I had not withdrawn

    Fentanyl for Fibromyalgia

Had after about 12 days, the feeling, not to wake up. I just slept and was knocked out. However, when I was reasonably awake I felt really good. Finally, the pain was no longer felt. However, with regard to returning to work, Fentanyl was not an alternative – being awake at work is handy. So I dropped it, sometimes with a heavy heart, partially relieved. Further NW see below.

Side effects: Vomit; Anorexia; Constipation; Fatigue

    Fentanyl for Depression; Polyneuropathie

The plaster did not really help against the pain. it only took the tips. I’m trying this now only to endure, because I have discontinued the plaster. as a result, the dull pain has also increased a little. Since I am now attached to the neurological ambulance in Münster, I hope, through another, additional antidepressant that I was advised to get the pain and symptoms of my polynuropathy under control. one should look for good neurological ambulances, who are well versed in this area by sufficient experience, and do not rely on neurologists in the place of residence, but usually have more to do with epelepsiepatienten and the like. with me, the underlying disease HIV is added, so the polineuropathy. even my gait disorders have gotten worse by the drug. Also, about 14 – 16 hours of the day is not overslept by the yellow egg. that is not a quality of life!

    Side effects: Fatigue
