Paroxetine for Drive disorders; Social phobia
I suffered from lack of drive (no depression) for 25 years under social phobia. I have been taking Paroxetine for 3 months. The first 3 weeks there was fierce NW, but I did not give up. Week 3-5 still felt no effect, then after week 5 I had again for 2 days violent NW. I was extremely depressed. Went to the doctor wanted to sell the medi. The doctor told me that they do not and has made me courage. Then I continued to take paroxetine for 1 week and then the effect hit like a bomb. My drive had risen by 80-90%, the social phobia disappeared. Am now a different person, am very conversational, can prevail against anyone. A group therapy with about 40 hours had zero success. The only thing about NW is the sexual disorder, but that does not bother me at the moment. Will take the medi for at least 6 months.
Side effects: Erectile dysfunction
I have been through all trycyclic, SSNR, SSRI for 30 years. At best, the effect lasted a few weeks. Paroxetine was / is the drug of choice for anxiety disorders. Because I can tolerate the side effects a bit easier. I’m fine again
Side effects: Erectile dysfunction; Libido loss
