    Prednisone for Inflammation

I take the drug for capsule inflammation in the shoulder. I started with 40mg. Already on the 2nd day, strong signs of depression became noticeable. With anxiety and panic attacks. Massive inner restlessness and irregular heartbeat. At first I had severe dizziness and massive vision problems. Slowly, I turn off the medication. Dizziness and blurred vision become better. The remaining symptoms unfortunately not yet. The pain in the shoulder is almost gone. But I would not take this medicine anymore. The leaflet also says caution should be used if you have had depression before. This was the case with me 3 years ago.

Because of rheumatoid arthritis, I was initially prescribed sulfasalazine 2000 mg as the basic medicine in combination with prednisone 5 mg daily. At first, I tolerated Sulfasalazine quite well, and after a few days I had a kind of panic attack that was not completely familiar to me in this way. Had hyperventilated many years ago, but that was a real picnic unlike the current ones. The effect was probably only slowly after 3-4 months. In the meantime, prednisone was hard to imagine, and every attempt to set off ended with violent spurts. After about 3-4 months, unfortunately, extreme nausea, headache, sore throat, dizziness, diarrhea, depression, circulatory problems, sweating, tinnitus, dry skin and hair, and finally, nettle fever occurred. With prednisone, only the weight went up a bit, after stopping directly down again. In the end, I had to stop taking sulfasalazine abruptly because of a bad blood count and a few days later I felt better, no panic attacks, calmer and nausea gone. An improvement by Sulfasalazine I hardly noticed. Prednisone proved to be a miracle remedy in relapses and relatively well tolerated in low doses and short-lived. Side effect was that my cycle suddenly took place regularly and my skin was pure.

Lamictal had a very positive effect on bipolar disorder. Unfortunately, after a certain time I had problems with dizziness, coordination disorders, urinary retention, stool behavior, neurological deficits. The cause could not be determined. Cymbalta had a good effect on the listlessness of my depression. Side effect was a slight weight loss. Prednisone had a good effect on my bronchiolitis. I became quite puffy, especially in the face Calcimagon D3 because of the cortisone (prednisone) to protect the bone structure. No side effects so far.
