    Clindamycin for Erysipelas

I have been prescribed clindamycin for a recurrent inflammation of the right foot. I have had this type of inflammation (erysipelas) about 8 times over 35 years. Clindamycin was the fastest acting drug I have ever taken. Within 36 hours, the swelling in the affected toes decreased and the temperature around the affected foot dropped. That was a big relief. As a side effect, I noticed drowsiness, dizziness, pressure in the abdomen and temporary nausea. None of these side effects was so massive, however, that I would have had to discontinue the drug. I did not have diarrhea or colic. I would take this preparation again.

    Side effects: Vomit; Fatigue; Dizziness

    Clindamycin for Diarrhea

due to a root ulcer with pathogens already in the blood close, I 1che clindamycin. In parallel with this, mutafloor immediately builds up the intestinal flora and continues to use symbiofloor, fresh yeast, buttermilk, johgurt … this is the most important thing after an anti- antibiotic treatment. since 4 weeks i suffer from dizziness, difficulty concentrating – with slight improvement, take vertigoheel – against dizziness, heepheel to strengthen the liver. Dizziness and circulatory problems come clearly from clyndamycin. who has experience with it, when the complaints stop again, or if there can be any lasting damage to the zns, please publish this and help others with it. Doctors around pharmacists are surprised by the symptomatology -undunenovichda not comment.

Due to the swelling of a nasal wing, I was prescribed by the ENT doctor Clindamycin (Clindabeta 300) as an antibiotic. Already after about 3 days I felt extremely flabby (like a flu) and was often in the head a little bit dizzy (dizziness). My nose has healed well after only a few days. However, drowsiness, dizziness, concentration and circulatory problems still persist 3 days after the last dose. Has anyone had similar experience? I am happy about every report.

Hi, Even I got 3 days ago by the dentist prescribed this antibiotic because I get a wisdom tooth, but somehow presses against another tooth and I just got it inflammation and had to endure severe pain for a week. So you go there and get the drug! Since I already have a penicillin allergy, I am always afraid of antibiotics and the dentist and I have chosen this as a ‘good’ alternative product ‘Unfortunately, the side effects are so violent that I am out of action and not even more dare to leave the house! I have stomach cramps so severe that it is unbearable. The pain radiates into the lumbar vertebrae and into the chest. I get very bad breath, have a pressure on the chest as if a truck parked on it! Add an incredible tiredness and constant dizziness when I lower or raise my head! All this does not mean that I’m pretty irritated and completely depressed! For me it is enough with this drug and I will not take it any further and after the weekend I prefer to introduce another solution before I continue to die with the feeling of dying! Not recommended and should urgently be checked by the pharmaceutical industry again! Effect, however, was still good. The toothache had disappeared the 2nd day. If it goes along with the fact that the other pains have drowned the toothache is then already questionable: ‘)

    Clindamycin for Jawbone inflammation

I got clindamycin from the dentist because I had a strong inflammation in a tooth that was already on bones and the adjacent tooth. 300mg, daily 3 pcs. On Tuesdays I started with 2 tablets. Already after the first, this bad taste came in the mouth, of which I was really sick. I felt sick quickly and inside was this unbearable heat and restlessness. Already on Wed, these kollikartigen pain began in the whole abdomen and lower abdomen. I was dizzy and slept for up to 16 (sixteen!) Hours a day. On Saturday, after 11 pills, I got mucus (mucus only) and blood during bowel movements. I left immediately. It was so bad, it was around 7 o’clock in the morning. I pulled myself to bed with chamomile tea and hot water bottles and woke up shortly after 10 pm. I felt like I was dying. There was no blood left in the stool and no diarrhea. Today is the 4th day after weaning. I feel dizzy and dizzy. I have strong tension headaches and flicker scotoma. My stomach is still hurting. These are feelings of pressure and cramps. When urinating it burns now, my whole body itches and burns, but no visible rash except for damned dry skin, I have not had that yet. Temporal tachycardia and strong inner restlessness, really terrible. Concentration is disturbed, increased muscle twitching. Yes, everyone reacts differently. But that’s unbelievable … I’d advise against it. So far, I have been taking Clavamox (mild stomachache and a little tired), Zinnat (some heartburn, but went away when I took pantoprazole) and that … See the hellish side effects above. And I do not seem to be alone with that. Once and never again.

Dose 3x600mg per day: Side effects after the 2nd day of intake such as stomach – head-back pain.A week after taking the last tablet still extremely variable blood pressure, from palpitations 180-100 to total fatigue, dizziness occurred at 110-60. During the night, until a week after taking the last tablet, the whole movement aperitif especially the cross hurt me terribly. Despite good efficacy, I would stop taking this antibiotic. The extremely bitter taste is still present day and night. You get really depressed. I just kept it up, because I wanted to make sure that there were no complications during the root canal treatment on the whisket tooth.

    Clindamycin for Dental inflammation

Twenty minutes after taking Clindamycin dizziness and discomfort occur. A pressure in the heart area scares. After 8 days of taking this drug (3 times 600mg), the tongue is completely furry and the oral cavity shows punctiform, white areas, which feel rough on the tongue – but with the toothbrush wegzubürsten are. Sometimes small blisters are found on the gums in the anterior area of the oral cavity. The bowel movement is soft – but not thin. The taste of this drug is around the clock in the mouth – even one day after discontinuation of this drug. This was an acute inflammation between the roots of a dead tooth, which was built with a titanium screw. The on-call doctor could not ensure the pressure of the inflammation by drilling up the tooth, as this screw was in the way – nor could the tooth be pulled, as only a maxillofacial surgeon was allowed to do it. Therefore, this clindamyzole prescribed 600 1-1-1. So I had to endure a little more than 3 days until the appointment with an oral surgeon. I was able to reduce the pain with Ibuprofen 600 (1-1-1), but only so that I had to endure the pain completely again until after the next work 2 hours before the next dose. Incidentally, I basically got a slight fever in the evening. After removing the tooth, I took Ibuprofen only once, just after the anesthetic became ineffective. 3 days after removal of the tooth by the oral surgeon (who sewed the wound), the pain became more intense, included in addition to the slight fever in the evening even earache, so the house dentist again clindamycin 600 (other company) 1-1-1 prescribed. As a precaution, I should take Eubiol 1×1 (self-payer) to catch problems with the side effects. (whether the side effects such as the o.b. lining on the oral mucosa is related, for me is not certain, but not unlikely). It is clear that the renewed revival of the inflammation caused by the suture, because this had a gap through which food leftovers in the wound and thus caused the further pain chaos. Thus, in the end, I can only report dizziness and pressure on the heart, but I do not know whether the lining in the oral cavity can also be assigned directly to the preparation Clindamycin. The stool is still soft – here I do not know if it is due to the eubiol, the slight fever in the evening was only gone when the intake fell away. I still have the earache. By the way, I’m a smoker, I have not touched a cigarette for seven whole days because of the wound, but if I have a coughing fit now – there comes out a pretty solid brown Schleimzeugs … I do not know if that’s the whole Time was suppressed or perhaps it was only brought out of the deepest depths …. Anyway – until now I have survived!

    Clindamycin for Tonsillitis

Clindamycin 600mg, dosage: half a tablet 3 times a day. I have to take the medicine for purulent tonsillitis. Clindamycin is already the second antibiotic I had to take because of tonsillitis. The week before, I already took cefaclor, but this had no effect at all. On penicillin I react basically badly, which is why it ever fell away. So I went to the doctor again and this then prescribed me the clindamycin. The first two days of treatment were pretty good and except for a slight pressure in my stomach, I was not feeling very bad, I was just a little tired. From the third day of taking the sore throat and the inflammation were better in itself, but then started the side effects …. I noticed that I had lost some weight already on the morning of the third day, but I have not thought much of it, because I did not suffer from diarrhea or the like …. Rather, the drug tore my circulation more and more to the ground. On the said third day of taking I was already no longer able to leave the house, because I was constantly dizzy and I suffered from recurring nausea. From there it became progressively worse, the circulation did not want to join, I got chills, sweats, tachycardia, could not concentrate anymore, barely read through visual disturbances, color contrasts caused me a great headache and drowsiness, I felt somehow bedridden. Today, on the fifth day of treatment, I decided to drop it off tomorrow evening as I have lost 4 pounds within 5 days now … without diarrhea, without much exercise and despite regular meals. A drug for stomach or intestine my doctor had not prescribed me additionally. This is the second worst antibiotic I ever had to take and next time I will ask for another alternative.

Got Clindamycin after a Wurzelspitzenresektion, equal high doses, three times a day 600mg. Have taken it a week, every time after taking the pill extreme stomach cramps, so blatant that I got sweats. My tooth got better after about 4 days, everything else got worse every day, especially nausea, pain in the esophagus, palpitations and dizziness. Did it through 7 days and then it did not work, every tablet came out immediately. Hope very much it is enough now. Never had an AB with such blatant side effects.

I can only confirm what I’ve read in this forum so far. Two weeks after a back surgery, Schwerzen used the surgery. After another 12 days, inflammation was diagnosed, which (since I was in a clinic) was treated intravenously with clindamycin 600 3x daily. I tolerated these quite well – the side effects were limited to a changed taste, loss of appetite, slight itching on the thighs. Then I was switched to tablets (again 3 times daily Clindamycin 600) and discharged after another 3 days. On the fourth day (now at home), the side effects then slowly set in: permanent nausea. In the night of the 5th day sweats, tachycardia (over 100 / min) high blood pressure. Nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, shit outbreaks, tachycardia, anxiety, trembling all over, tampon on tongue, angular taste, itchy skin. The now called emergency doctor advised me to stop taking this medication immediately and to choose an alternative medicine the next day with my doctor. Driving a car is definitely not possible with this remedy, as must now run a taxi.

    Clindamycin for Dental inflammation

Because of a tooth root inflammation my dentist prescribed me clindamycin (3x 600 mg daily). On the second day of administration, the following side effects occurred. Pain in the heart – Muscular spasms and muscle slackness – Joint pain – Fatigue (similar to a flu) – Tiredness – Lack of concentration – Slight headache – Dizziness – Stomachache (pulling backwards) – Heartburn – Nausea – Heavy breathing (a feeling like something lying on my rib cage) – sweats – First improvements of my inflammation were to take true with this antibiotic after 4 days of ingestion. Swelling subsided and the pain became more bearable. After stopping the antibiotics, I continued to beat for three more weeks with stomach pain, constant heartburn and headache. Muscle problems (cramping and lethargy) and dizziness continue since today (just over 3 months). And despite aftertreatment, this problem can not be solved yet.

    Clindamycin for Sinusitis

Diagnosis: massive paranasal sinus and sphenoid inflammation. First, I was prescribed penicillin. After a week, there was no improvement. My ENT doctor then prescribed me clindamycin (600 mg) in tablet form. From the second day the following side effects occurred: fatigue, drowsiness, difficulty concentrating. Heartburn, stomach ache, a disgusting taste in the mouth, which lasted for hours even after the meal. From the 4th day came increasing muscle weakness. After consultation with the doctor, I should continue to take the medication and have patience. From the 5th day I could barely stand on my feet, had to lie an average of 22 hours a day … In addition there were tachycardia, anxiety and insomnia. The skin has deteriorated very much: gray and very dry. White-black tongue coating. And last but not least: 3 kg weight gain in a week. On the 7th day I discontinued Clindamycin after consultation with the doctor. Nevertheless, the inflammation only goes back very slowly. I have already taken some medications with my 41 years, NEVER had any side effects felt. This time I really went through hell. This drug is FORBIDDEN !!! I’m not the first one in this forum who has had this experience. What I find extremely questionable: the topic of participation in road traffic is in the package leaflet nothing negative. Who takes this devil’s stuff and sits in the car, is a suicide or a madman … Continue 2 weeks after weaning: in the meantime, all sinuses are highly inflamed. I have to get involved in a not entirely harmless operation. Thus, the effect is zero! The 3-week hell by the side effects, I could have saved myself. Am still very weak, dizzy, drowsiness u.s.w are still there. I can only recommend one thing: FINGER WAY!
