I have already felt severe side effects after a short time. Muscle weakness, rapid heartbeat, palpitations, dizziness, tingling, restlessness, anxiety and insomnia. If I did not have to take the antibiotic, I would have discontinued it after just 2 days. I hope the effect is optimal, that it is well worth the effort.

    Clarithromycin for Pharyngitis

Clarithromycin only three days (2x a day) taken. Within a short amount of time, I got a lot of abdominal pain, a change in my sense of smell, anxiety and dizziness. I advise everyone from this drug! I’ve never had such symptoms before, so I assume it’s related to taking this drug. In addition, the symptoms slowly resolved after about four days.

Have for 2 weeks cough and runny nose with yellow secretions. When headache and fever occurred, I went to the doctor and got clarithromycin. Positive It works and I have no intestinal trouble, as usual with antibiotic. Dizziness and nausea on the first night, which according to the doctor may also be due to the disease. Should continue to take the drug. On 3 days itching and burning pustules on the hands, soles and face, especially in the nostrils. These pustules in the nose have risen immediately and are extremely wet. Conclusion Will probably have to go to the doctor again.

Side effects: Itching rash; Dizziness; Nausea

    Clarithromycin for Bronchitis (acute)

I had a painful cough about 20 / h and got painful cough up to 35x / min. In addition I lost the sense of smell, the sense of taste and the reading-sight. On the following day the prescribing doctor explains that it is the most modern medicine and within 24 hours no improvement is to be expected. Because of the persistent pain in the construction area when coughing I was transferred to the AKH, possibly with ambulance. I did not go. I bought Brochipret but still took 2 days on the o.g. Medicine. The pain increased unacceptably, while turning the head, the field of vision was tightened like a rubber band but in streaks, strong shingles feeling and the general body weakness increased. So no more driving a car. I discontinued the prescribed medicine. Then I rubbed sternum and belly with Tigerbalm, took Soledum 3×2 drag / d. The fever disappeared, the cough decreased to about 15x / h and the pain decreased to tolerable levels. The general body weakness disappeared, but the lack of smell, lack of taste (except mustard) and dizziness remained. The vision has improved again, but not to the original state. Since both drugs were used and discontinued at the same time, it can not be clearly stated that they are only clarithromycin. I consider the administration to be a serious bodily injury, even if the symptoms were listed as side effects. Based on the package leaflet, no organ is free of side effects. The distribution should be prosecuted.

Side effects: Pain; Blurred vision; Dizziness

    Clarithromycin for To cough

Hello, I got the drug prescribed by my doctor today because I have been suffering from one or more colds for weeks. I took the first tablet around 10.30 am and had acute side effects: an overflow here. All side effects gradually appeared in parallel. Taking the first tablet 10.30 clock: 12:00 o’clock suddenly appearing severe nausea 12:30 o’clock mild heart rate 12:45 clock strong tachycardia, initial disorientation 13:00 clock dizziness, weak knees, overwhelming weakness in the whole body, speech difficulties then have me immediately packed in bed. Otherwise I have little problems with medication but this one almost killed me, I think. I had very painful heart spasms throughout the afternoon, increased heart rate and panic. It is a scary feeling when you feel how your own heart is cramping and only seconds later / weiterraast. In addition, I could hardly move, my legs and arms were as heavy as if I had to carry 100 talents. I was incredibly thirsty and when my husband came home, he said that my face was completely puffy and pale as lime. Meanwhile, the intake is 10 h ago and I still have a headache and swollen mucous membranes in the mouth. Feels like after an anesthetic injection at the dentist. I will discontinue taking it immediately, because I think a wide pill of this kind would have dire consequences for me. Can not give any recommendation for this medicine.

    Clarithromycin for Lung infection

Diagnosis: atypical lingual pneumonia Therapy: 14 days clarithromycin 500mg + ACC Hexal then 7 days Josalid 500mg + ACC Hexal thereafter 9 days Avelox 400mg (10 days therapy canceled on 9th day) Course: After the first week of therapy with clarithromycin there was an improvement However, the discomfort I still had purulent sputum. After the second week, an improvement in the radiograph was evident, but the purulent sputum, partially with traces of blood, persisted. After the third week (after 7 days Joslid) continue to shade in the radiograph and unchanged purulent ejection. After the fourth week (after 9 days Avelox) the purulent sputum remained unchanged. I did not consent to any further x-rays since I had already X-rayed four times at this time. From the fifth week and suspected serious side effects with Avelox, I discontinued the drug. Further treatment was with Symbicort forte. Effectiveness of Avelox: I can not give any information about that, as there was no improvement in the symptoms during the therapy. I doubt that in my particular case Avelox should have been prescribed. Suspected side effects with Avelox: The evening after taking Avelox for the first time, blurred vision, heart trouble, and noticeably increased heart rates occurred. On the second day I had visual disturbances, heart problems, high pulse rate and disturbances of balance, which made it impossible for me to walk upright. I lay down and continued to experience severe dizziness, headache and nausea (without vomiting). There were motor disturbances and articulation difficulties. Finally, I got extreme anxiety and racing heart. I spent the next 1-2 hours cowering on the floor until my condition returned to normal. However, it remained the next few days with a significantly reduced fine motor skills and phased headaches and heart problems. On the ninth day of taking Avelox, there was a spontaneous mortal fear and palpitations. The condition, which lasted about 3-4 hours, I overcame in crouching position. The next day, I changed the attending pulmonary specialist and, with his consent, stopped taking Avelox. Note on the ratings: The effectiveness and value for money were rated with 5 points, as the website of Sanego does not allow abstention. In fact, I can not judge whether a complete cure of the pneumonia has occurred and which drug may have caused it. Also for the price-performance ratio I can not give any information, since the medicines were taken over by the health insurance.

    Clarithromycin for Tonsillitis

I would also like to share my experience here after being prescribed clarithromycin 500mg for tonsillitis. Have to say that I h already took a penicillin over 10 days ago. But the clarithromycin then completely struck me down. As good as it seemed after 2 days was so strong were the side effects. Headache, bitter taste, dizziness and discomfort, and a lack of power with associated muscle pain. One could say now that comes from the infectious. However, I did not have these symptoms before taking it. I’m glad if the thing is over! My doctor advised me to stop the medication because of the strong side effect, but my fear is too big to get a relapse. I have already done 4.5 days. I count each one!

The antibiotic was quite straightforward in its applicability. Morning and evening after dinner. The side effects really bother me. It comes to abdominal pain and cramps, night sweats, tongue coating and dizziness.

    Clarithromycin for Bronchitis (acute)

Clarithromycin dura 250 mg: After the first tablet, my symptoms quickly improved. Starting on day 2, side effects such as insomnia, rapid heartbeat, panic attacks, depressive episodes, itching, dizziness, mild headache, dry mouth, eerie thirst began on day 3, followed by stomach cramps and infernal abdominal pain. However, all the side effects disappeared on the 4th day, except for the metallic taste that lasted the entire intake time. The last 3 days were no complaints. Conclusion: Unpleasant but sustainable side effects, I do not think antibiotics do the body really good but sometimes you just can not get around …

    Clarithromycin for Tonsillitis

I took the drug for two days for tonsillitis and had to see my doctor again because the side effects were extreme and the real cause of the disease is now the lesser evil. Already the first night after taking 2 tablets (morning and evening) I was awakened by violent chills, together with fever dreams and strong nausea; I thought several times that I had to vomit. A bad experience. Today, the second day of ingestion, stomach cramps and diarrhea were added. Actually, I am always bad and I have a pressing headache. So far I have tolerated antibiotics actually good, but this means is an impertinence! As mentioned, I am back to my doctor, who did not actually have any negative experiences with clarithromycin, but he advised me to stop the treatment and prescribed another remedy for me. It is Rulid, which I have already taken a few times before. I do not know how my body reacts to the incompatibility on the one hand and the new medication on the other hand, but what choice do I have? Never again
