    Metformin for Hyperinsulinemia

Take metformin because of hyperinsulinemia and hyperandrogenemia in obesity. From my endocrinologist I got prescribed metformin and I’m totally unhappy I have not lost weight but my hormone levels have improved. Have constant diarrhea and am always tired and listless. Pure catastrophe does not even get the household on the line.

    Metformin for Diarrhea

As long as I have taken metformin I have had most unpleasant side effects in the form of diarrhea, severe, sudden diarrhea. Unfortunately, I did not say that clearly enough to the doctors in Berlin and Leipzig. It even came to the fact that I did not come to a toilet in time (spare me – and the inclined reader-inside) more descriptions, at least then I changed my eating and Ausgehverhalten (never ate before appointments) and am also much lonelier become. All this was only when I was switched to insulin syringes.

    Metformin for Diarrhea

I should increase the dose of Metfromin 1000 weekly by 1/2 tablet until I reached the dose of 1-0-1. I should take the first dose 1 / 2-0-0 for two weeks. Diarrhea occurred from 1 / 2-0-1 / 2. I was told that they would stop by themselves. So I kept increasing the dose by a 1/2 tablet weekly until I reached the prescribed dose of 2-0-2. However, the diarrhea got worse and worse until they reached a watery stage. They appeared unprepared for an attack, with no previous abdominal cramps. The water just started to leak, no matter where I was. I could not keep up with my work (after all, as a teacher, I can not just run from the classroom to the bathroom in the middle of class). The end was that I shit several times and went to bed at night, because the diarrhea was so sudden and fluid that I could not make it to the Kloo. I then discontinued Metformin 1000. After two days, the diarrhea was completely over. Four months later, I tried taking it again. Already at 1 / 2-0-1 / 2 tablets, the aqueous diarrhea began again, this time even more violent and even two days later even bloody. Already one day after discontinuation of metformin has set a completely normal bowel movement again. Well, I can not use metformin.

Metformin for Fertility disorders; Polycystic ovaries; Diabetes mellitus type ii

Unfortunately, extreme diarrhea with metformin (initially 2×450 mg / day, then 1x 850 mg / day, then 2×850 mg / day). Unfortunately, it did not get better, but it will continue, as it can allegedly achieve very good results in PCO patients who at the same time have insulin resistance and want to fulfill their long-awaited desire to have children. My diabetologist advised me then I could take a drug for diarrheal diseases at the same time. You would not become dependent on it, and it would not hurt the body. So I could then benefit from the good effects of Metformax. Will that try now. Good luck to you all!

    Metformin for Kinderwunsch-treatment; Polycystic ovaries

I take 2xtägl. 850 mg metformin, because of PCO and irregular cycles. I have no insulin resistance, I am normal weight and take metformin mainly because of having children. The cycle got off to a good start in just a few weeks and became pregnant in the third metformin cycle. I had side effects like diarrhea and nausea at the beginning quite often, now and then, but I can handle that.

Metformin for Diabetes mellitus type ii

I took metformin for two weeks. At first only diarrhea was seen as a side effect, but the skin started to itch more and more. After consulting my dock, I should divide the tablets and halve the dose. Then on the 13th day the itching got too big and my hands got fat, my lower leg aos looked as if a whole swarm of mosquitoes had caught me. (Allergic shock).

Metformin for Diabetes mellitus type ii

After having treated my type II diabetes through diet and exercise alone (under medical supervision), the values got mixed up in the fall of last year. The fasting sugar daily was over 130 to 170 mg / dl. Then I was prescribed metformin. After initial diarrhea (about 2 days), I initially tolerated the drug very well – except for constant bloating. My blood glucose levels developed fantastically and were better than during the whole previous therapy period. After 2 months of taking time I had for the first time in my life an acute episode of psoriasis (head, genital area – very uncomfortable !!!, thighs, elbows and hands). The prescribed (cortisone-containing) ointments did not help, but thanks to MF, my sugar levels remained good, despite cortisone. After I discontinued MF at the end of January on the recommendation of the dermatologist, psoriasis healed spontaneously. Since my sugar levels were initially within tolerable range again, the doctor agreed that I would not take medication at first. Now the values play crazy again (fasting sugar up to 200 mg / dl) and also the long-term sugar has risen for the first time, instead of falling, so that I now get another medicine. The doctor does not want to prescribe me because of the side effects observed with me MF. What’s more: Here write all of weight loss, I was ALWAYS hungry under the intake of MF and since my blood sugar levels were still good, if I have eaten more (including carbohydrates), I have given in to my hunger. With the success that I have gained 9 pounds from the year before, I lost 15 pounds (this weight I had also kept 1 year). Now without MF I’m not so hungry and I am slowly but steadily decreasing. Can anyone explain to me?

Metformin for High blood pressure; Diabetes mellitus type ii

Taking 3000 mg metformin daily (1000/0/2000) over 4 months. During this time, my HbA1c value has improved from 11.8 to 5.8 and I only lost 19 kg with the switch to a 3-meal rhythm. I feel like I was born again. Again fit and clearly powerful side effects: defecating bowel movements every 2 days, reduced appetite

    Side effects: Appetite loss; Diarrhea

Metformin for Polycystic ovaries; Diabetes mellitus type ii

I have been taking metformin for 16 days now. In the first week I started with 1 x 500, now I take 1 x 1000 and from next week I should increase to 1 x 1500. I’ve been having flatulence and diarrhea since then. Since the increase to 1000 comes tremendous nausea feeling and crazy sweats as in women with menopause added. That makes me crazy. Besides, I’m just tired and always exhausted. Is that normal? I would like to stop it, because without metformin I feel better.

I took the medication and I was fine with it and then after a short time I had diarrhea and vomiting. that stops after 5 weeks in I had lost 5 kilograms. After a few months, I had gained 10 kilograms. Of course, this can not be sensible or purposeful. In addition, I noticed that has stored in my lower legs water.

The drug needs to be crept in. I started with 1 tabl. / day and am now at 3 pcs / day. The initial diarrhea has given complete, as well as the nausea in the first days. I still have an appetite loss, but I’m not really sad about that, so it has a positive side effect. In addition, with the help of metformin, I have already lost 7 kg and I think that was only the beginning. I do not like crystal sugar any more, I have a terrible feeling in my mouth, which is why I do not eat sweets any more.

    Metformin for Polycystic ovaries

I have been suffering from PCO syndrome for years. The whole thing turned out last year when I was at the gynecologist because of my desire to have a child. Unfortunately it is so much that I have too many male hormones and this leads me to almost half a year Metformin was prescribed to me last year. The first week I was supposed to take one tablet in the morning, the second week in the morning and evening one tablet and in the third week, then in the morning, at noon and in the evening one tablet. Compatibility was with me so bad that I have the tablets then completely discontinued after 23 days. I suffered from diarrhea and severe stomach cramps, which meant that I could hardly move at the end. Two days after stopping the tablets, the side effects were direct disappeared. The doctor told me that an absolute incompatibility occurs very rarely, but well, with me it was really hard, he ha He said that the first few days can be nausea and diarrhea, but nobody thought of that, especially not for three weeks. I have been taking Siofor since last week and the effect is great, I got my days directly 2 days after my first tablet. Although suffering from diarrhea, but not so strong and that sounds slow.More I can not unfortunately say to Siofor.

Metformin for Diabetes mellitus type ii

For the first few days I had very severe stomach problems, nausea, headaches. These disappeared creeping after about 14 days. Since the beginning of therapy, I have had an unpleasant change in the consistency of my chair. This is 90% mushy. Also today I occasionally have stomach cramps and an acoustically unpleasant gurgling in the abdomen. Flatulence is also a constant unpleasant side effect in acoustic and nasal form. I feel rather flawed and partially without a drive. Since ingestion, I also have side effects with the skin, ranging from mild redness and itching to open spots on the back. My doctor says there are clearly drug-related side effects. I do not take any other medicines. My health insurance probably pays no other, more expensive drugs. According to therapy recommendation, I should take it. But I’m not ready to continue tollerieren this mass of side effects.

I had a slight (!) Insulin resistance and overweight. Result after 6 months: extreme deterioration of insulin value deterioration of fasting blood glucose, which was previously TOP deterioration of all liver values, one twice as high as the upper limit of weight Weight INCREASES Extreme restrictions due to intolerance to diarrhea, abdominal cramping and hypo-onset NEVER AGAIN. You have to pay it yourself, you can hardly swallow the parts and the effect was the opposite. Who knows what I messed with it. Can only advise against.
