I’m taking the antibiotic just the first day and can say that it works very well. Unfortunately, these are also the first pills that cause very fast side effects in my life. I got flatulence after about 4 hours and diarrhea after about 8 hours.

Ingestion every 12 hours, 1Tbl 250mg, against angina and acute bronchitis -the effect began well after the second day of administration, but then the side effects became more and more obvious, although I took perenterol forte at the same time-on the 4th day I had cramps, one-off Vomiting, diarrhea-vomiting on the fifth day, short-term spasms in the upper abdomen, -about 6 hours after taking permanent vomiting with severe pain, cramps especially in the upper abdomen and sweats, the spook was over after 10 hours, the last both pills remain uninhibited, without a doctor’s agreement and the sore throat are back, I would not take this medicine again.

i had ALL side effects! had signs of a cerebral sinus infection and a little coughing. My family doctor prescribed me 1 tablet in the morning and 1 in the evening. This should have been bad. On a Monday evening I took the first tablet. Tuesday – Wednesday I had tremendous rest. On wednesdays I suffered 2 hours of cramps. I’m not pitying, but I really thought I had to die. Every 7 minutes a spasm paired with violent sweats, diarrhea and vomiting despite pain medication !. the next morning everything was normal, 2 hours after taking it I felt so bad that I had to go to the hospital. In addition, an elevated liver value was found there. Never again!

    Clarithromycin for Pharyngitis; Bronchitis (acute)

Since I have a penicillin intolerance, I got clarithromycin for my pharyngitis and bronchitis. Nocturnal sleep problems began on the evening of the first intake. In addition, it reduced the sore throat a bit, but I got a dry cough, which additionally tormented me mainly at night and kept awake. Food tasted no more, was somehow a different taste. On the 3rd day (today) of the intake I suddenly got out of the blue strong abdominal cramps, diarrhea and fainting fits. At the doctor’s visit was suspected that I have an incompatibility here, the drug must stop immediately. Now I torture myself with hourly coming and going abdominal cramps and hope that the drug is mostly broken down after this night. Oh yes, the irritant cough and my sore throat and difficulty swallowing are back. It does not help against what it should help against.

    Clarithromycin for Bacterial infection

Got the antibiotic because of a bacterial infection. On the first day of taking everything was still good. Have a good time. I have also taken Boxagrippal and sinupret because my sinuses were also inflamed (I can tolerate both drugs easily) In the second night after taking I had to go to the toilet and shortly thereafter, my circulation is the first time broken together. I just made it to my bed. Constantly I had cold sweat attacks I also got strong diarrhea and nausea. The bitter (metallic) taste in the mouth is honestly again. Appetite is almost zero. Also, the fresh air I inhale through the nose smells metallic. Today is the 5th day of taking it and I felt really bad after taking the tablet. My circulation was in the basement for a while. Headache had nausea and extreme diarrhea after taking it. Had many sinusitis and infections but never had such complaints. That’s why I can say it’s the antibiotic

    Clarithromycin for Bronchitis (acute)

For about a hour after taking, I had severe restlessness, tremors and weakness. Later, intestinal cramps and diarrhea were added. I had expected that. But this panic-like restlessness associated with racing heart was surprising, very unpleasant and not tolerable. Another intake was unthinkable.

    Clarithromycin for Sinusitis

I got clarithromycin from my family doctor for mild sinusitis. He said the drug was generally well tolerated. I pointed out to him that I can not take drugs that rarely cause tachycardia, because it has a massive impact on me. (For this reason, I do not tolerate cold sprays or paracetamol combination preparations). I assumed that he took note of this. Unfortunately, in the leaflet text again the reference to the occurrence of tachycardia … I should take two tablets twice a day. After taking it for the first time, I did not notice any side effects. After taking it for the second time I got the following symptoms: starting with an inner restlessness and nervousness, twists and turns that I could not explain. This increased to massive anxiety and dread. – Since I know the symptoms, I knew that there is again a tachycardia. My pulse rate was greatly increased. Likewise the heartbeat. I wanted to get out of my body, but I felt trapped. I got cold hands, especially cold fingertips. Furthermore, I noticed a greatly exaggerated libido, which I found tormenting, as it differs greatly from the normal sense of pleasure. (Similar libido accretion I only experienced with hormonal conversion to another pill.) As a further side effect I got strong abdominal cramps and violent diarrhea. As a countermeasure against the massive fear of death, I then took a tile to Tavor, which had a delayed effect. With its help, I was able to sleep at night, but I noticed a strong metallic taste in the mouth, which was very unpleasant. I then reduced the dose of clarithromycin to 2 x 1 tablet per day. I can not recommend this medicine for patients who have heart failure, are at risk of heart attack, are suffering from anxiety or panic attacks. These problems can be massively increased by clarithromycin !! Especially with colds, there are other antibiotics that are more compatible.

    Clarithromycin for Tonsillitis

Terrible druguntil now had NEVER side effects on anything, but with Clarithromycin I had everything that is in the package text! 🙁 worst stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle pain, muscle twitching, body aches, joint pain, anxiety (suicidal thoughts), depression, dysphagia (have only taken 2x Clarithromycin and 72 hours can not sleep) terrible skin burning, red skin like after bad sunburn, fever, itching, cold / hot feeling, and so on ….

Use the drug now for almost 10 days. The reason is inflammation prophylaxis. Since inflammation was wrongly suspected even before surgery, I started using clarithromycin 4 days before. I can not say much about the effectiveness, because I never had to fight an inflammation, only that there was no further inflammation in the further course of the disease. The side effects, however, are clearly felt, I have not yet felt in any other drug so: -Herzrasen-heart rhythm disorder -neginess-sleep disorders (it is 5 o’clock in the morning, as I write this report) -Kopfschmerzen -diarrhea -extreme thirst (which is very unfavorable, if the teeth are so sensitive to temperature differences) -extreme sweating … Due to the unusually strong side effects, I was insecure, stress, up to panic a (this was the first time in my life herpes). So I’m extremely skaptisch if I can take this drug until the actual end of treatment. I advise everyone before taking Clarithromycin to inquire, possibly to get a second opinion. If other medicines were also available I would advise against this drug.

    Clarithromycin for Tonsillitis

I took the drug for two days for tonsillitis and had to see my doctor again because the side effects were extreme and the real cause of the disease is now the lesser evil. Already the first night after taking 2 tablets (morning and evening) I was awakened by violent chills, together with fever dreams and strong nausea; I thought several times that I had to vomit. A bad experience. Today, the second day of ingestion, stomach cramps and diarrhea were added. Actually, I am always bad and I have a pressing headache. So far I have tolerated antibiotics actually good, but this means is an impertinence! As mentioned, I am back to my doctor, who did not actually have any negative experiences with clarithromycin, but he advised me to stop the treatment and prescribed another remedy for me. It is Rulid, which I have already taken a few times before. I do not know how my body reacts to the incompatibility on the one hand and the new medication on the other hand, but what choice do I have? Never again
