    Lyrica for Arthritis; Fibromyalgia

Hey, just tell me about my experiences with Lyrica. Suffering for years from anxiety disorder, pain in various joints. Have been taking Valoron, Opipramol and Pantoprazole for my stomach for 5 years. Since I did not get my last pain boost under control, I went to the hospital. It was found that I have polyarthritis and fibro. Now I got Lyrica prescribed. Now the theater started. Got started with 50mg and should first to 150mg Was surprised that 50mg led to my tingling in hands and feet stopped and could sleep wonderfully without pain. Did not worry me until I was dizzy, only tired and limp. I increased the dose to 150mg, now even more depression came along, but at the moment I manage to do my household work. Before 13 o’clock I’m not used at all, besides, I’m always cold. My blood pressure is currently 100/75/64 and that with 8 cups of coffee. I also start to cry because everything is too much for me. Now even speech disorders have come to it too I forget a lot, my stomach is not synonymous with (stomach pain) I will cease the Lyrica to 50-70mg.Mal see if I feel better then.

Approximately 10 days of treatment with Lyrica (pregabalin) for Restless Legs Syndrome in a drug addict (dry alcoholic). Conclusion: The dose had to be increased from one pill (25mg) a day to 10 pills in the morning and 10 pills in the evening for the first effect to be heard. Advantages: no increased salivation between 14:00 o’clock and 19:00 o’clock none, as usual cold shakes with chills. Pills are so small that can easily be swallowed five at a time, after taking 10 pieces (25mg) in the morning and 10 pieces in the evening first improvement: no painful discomfort (burning, itching, tingling) in the hands, barely during the day painful sensations in the feet, only at night painful sensations in the feet. Sleep phases increased from about 45 minutes (without pregabalin) to about 90 to 120 minutes. Back and neck neck pain (LWS / HWS) hardly noticeable. Numbness in the right thigh disappeared. Disadvantages: dry mouth and heavy pressure strong dizziness sweating drive weakness hallucinations (even three days after discontinuing the pills) Middle depression confusion total loss of sense of time increased hand shaking I advise a person who still halfway clear in the head, I guess from my experience, completely by off these pills.

    Lyrica for Trigeminal neuralgia

I had facial pain since last year and was pushed from one doctor to another. From the neurologist I got only clomipramine, which helped me not at pain. From the pain doctor I got Lyrica and antidepressants, which made me only tired and depressed, but at first at least against the attaken half.the dentist could not find any inflammation, so that I wrote a remedy together with my family doctor, which helped but was simply burdened with too many side effects. i got carbamazepine (but too low), dolomin extra for the toothache, clomipram for the frustration and lyrica in addition. but it helped !! in vogtareuth in surgical neurology I was then properly checked by the end of may2011 and you found trygeminusneuralgie and I got carbamazepine-only higher doses. since then the aching patches are gone, but the side effect with me is: fatigue, hunger in the short time 7kilo increased , and photosensitivity.that with the increase makes me very, ….

    Lyrica for Morbus sudeck

I take Lyrica 75mg now in the morning and in the evening so 150mg / day. For several weeks I have suffered from sleep disorders and heavy nightmares. I am sometimes highly agile, from now on the same saddle … above all, often very angry for no reason. I also have suicidal thoughts now and then. The pain in my hand (CRPS) will not be less by Lyrica, but maybe they would be even stronger. I sometimes have word-finding problems or forget what I just wanted to do. The drug is no better than e.g. Targin, but it does not make me as dependent as Targin I judge Lyrica by the side effects as rather bad

    Lyrica for Pain (neuropathic)

Positive side effects: I slept very well every time. Increased hunger also occurred. Negative Side Effects: Disorientation, sometimes I did not know if I’m in the clinic or at home, especially after awakening, where am I actually? The legs became soft as if you had drunk too much alcohol. Nosebleeds and short-term depression. Ingestion: months

    Lyrica for Fibromyalgia; Pain (acute)

Part 3: The Withdrawal After reading one or the other, and getting annoyed with these drugs lunacy … I dropped Lyrica. And in 25mg steps over about 2-3 weeks. And many say yes there would be no withdrawal symptoms in Lyrica. So I can tell other things. Any reduction became worse and worse. I got sweats that I was scared of. During the day with every little effort I started to sweat. At night I changed (every night!) The nightgown 3-4 times, because the sweat dripped from me. Sleep … almost impossible. Mental headache and absolute morning sickness (no no pregnancy). And then the pain came … I call it a body ache, because it comes closest to it. 3 weeks ago I took the last Lyrica. And the headaches are gone. The exuberance goes like this. Have now 4 nights as good as not sweaty. But sweating in general is still. And it totally annoys. First a kind of hot flash and then I’m wet. Outside at 3 degrees I run around in the T-shirt. And the body aches are getting worse. I’m a little bit desperate … but I hope so.

    Lyrica for Fibromyalgia; Pain (acute)

Part 1 of my experience: Dosage 3x 200mg daily During this time, I had determined 80% of the side effects as commonly reported. What annoyed me most was the constant thirst and that I’ve gained almost 20kg so far. In addition, the excess was initially very uncomfortable. But after a few months, most of the side effects went away by themselves. Only slight excess, often headaches, bad sleep and lack of concentration were always. I also had one of the rare side effects. But until you noticed that, it was almost a year of guessing. Because suddenly my chest grew. I always had cup size A- and today I filled C’s. Is not bad … others operate, I took Lyrica;). In addition, from time to time still came to walk, so I had the feeling not to be present and could barely walk. Since I was therefore unable to work anymore (among other things), the dosage lagsam was reduced. More about it soon.
