Amitriptyline for Morbus sudeck
Heart stumbling and severe tiredness the day after. Concentration barely possible.
Side effects: Concentration problems; Daytime tiredness
Amitriptyline for Sleep disorders
I am taking 10mg for strong and permanent sleep and sleep disorders since 4 weeks. I have hardly any side effects, at most a little more thirsty at night and sometimes a bit tired during the day. But compared to before (2-4h sleep a night, not in one piece) the fatigue is laughable. I have not gained any weight at all, but I have always been relatively healthy and have been doing endurance sprays regularly for years, at 60-90 minutes 2-3 times a week at the stress limit.
Side effects: Daytime tiredness; Thirst
Amitriptyline for Depression
Amitriptyline was prescribed for suspected depression. When I took the drug for the first few weeks, I did not notice any effect, but instead it blew me completely a few hours after taking it. It is therefore advisable to take the drug initially only in the evening, so that one sleeps, while the side effects would occur. My doctor recommended that I take a tablet early after 3 weeks. Since I’m suffering from chronic fatigue anyway, I let that be after a few tries as it increased my fatigue. Nevertheless, it came to a slight mood-enhancing effect and made me with evening intake not the next day tired. The sedating side effect decreased quite abruptly. After a few weeks, no side effects were noticeable.
Side effects: Daytime tiredness; Fatigue
