Lyrica for Arthritis; Migraine; Arthrosis; Neuralgia; Pain (chronic)

With the medication, my pain is so far under control that I can do my housework and participate in the social life limited. The side effects are with me, severe fatigue, dizziness, frequent circulation problems, severe sweating. If I do not take oxycodone punctually, the first withdrawal symptoms appear relatively quickly, I notice that at first, because my nose is suddenly closed, and I get a strong inner restlessness. And what is especially annoying is the chronic constipation, without Movicol nothing works.

    Lyrica for Spastik; Pain (chronic)

Due to the spastic tetraplegia, my musculature cramps more than a healthy muscle in pain. Therefore, at the onset of chronic pain syndrome, I was prescribed Katadolone directly. As a side effect I felt at the beginning almost only the tiredness. In the meantime, the following side effects have come along: muscle tremors, dry mouth, constipation, some sleep disturbances, restlessness (physical type). For two months I still take Tilidine Retard (50/4) 3 times a day and as a combination Tilidin solution (as needed 2 – 4 x daily 20 drops). Again, fatigue plays a role as a side effect. In addition, I get Lyrica 25 mg in the evening for a few days. These should take the share of neuropathic pain. Here are also the side effects of fatigue, tremors and dry mouth. Inwiewiet the Lyrica is increased is still unclear. But it is sure that it will stay with me a low dose.

    Lyrica for Spastik; Pain (chronic)

When taking the 3 drugs listed above, there were frightening side effects. After initially decaying pain symptoms came after about 4 weeks to extreme dry mouth, speech difficulties, constipation, depression to suicidal thoughts. The patient was no longer himself and here are also unprecedented cardiac arrhythmias search, which could be eliminated only by a hospital stay. After urgent, immediate discontinuation of Lyrica, the condition of the patient improves daily, although withdrawal symptoms (nausea and heat waves with heavy sweats) occurred.

Lyrica for Intervertebral discs-op; Neuralgia; Pain (chronic)

M-beta belongs to the group morphine. Before being exposed to morphine, I had a number of other analgesics without any success. My blood levels were so miserable that no doctor knew what to do. Since I get along with morphine, my blood levels are also very good, so sometimes something positive. Unfortunately, other side effects such as: constipation, at first circulatory problems, loss of appetite …) are not enough, but I am clear today. Lyrica, I have against constantly, strong nerve tearing (100mg in the morning and 150mg in the evening). Now my constipation became a real problem for me. Circulatory / balance, vision problems and nausea were present. Memory disorders, decreasing attention, irritability, increased appetite (10kg in 10 months increased), loss of taste, dry mouth, abdominal distension, absolute listlessness and no desire for sex were also added. My liver value rose to 398 and should knowingly be no more than 40. Now we (doctor and I) wanted to let Lyrica run out within 3 days, which was far too fast. I got a heavy withdrawal. Very uncomfortable! Now we lower the dose within 14 days. I do not want to take Lyrica anymore because of the many side effects, which I have all received. I will then replace it with another medicine!

    Lyrica for A headache

Hi everybody, I took Lyrica for 4 weeks (2 x 75 mg). I got her from the pain clinic because I was there because of my pain. Previously, tramadol, novamine sulfone, ibuprofen, musaril, amytriptiline etc. were announced. No effect on my pain. Only through Lyrica I became pain free. However, I did not tolerate it well. But that is different with every person. I had the following side effects: bloated stomach, severe constipation, dizziness (but less over time), redness. That’s why I switched to Neurotin 100 mg. The dose was 300 mg in the morning, 200 mg at noon and 300 mg in the evening. Impeccably painless only when slimming Lyrica and creeping in Neurotin the pain came through. But that’s usually the case. Unfortunately, I also had to stop taking Neurotine, even though overall it was still a low dose (according to the Pain Clinic). I had a moderate constipation – I could handle it, because it was much better than Lyrica. But after a good 2 weeks, cardiac arrhythmias and insomnia were added. Too bad – because even with this drug, I was painless. Now I have been taking carbamazepine 200 mg for only a few days (once in the evening). I can not say much about side effects yet. I’m also painless with this drug and hopefully I’m lucky that the side effects are limited this time.

    Lyrica for A headache; Neuralgia

Hello dear fellow sufferers! I took daily 150 mg Lyrica daily and 3 times daily 1 tabl. Novalgin and in between Novalgin drops as needed. The dose was doubled after 1 week. The pain attacks (violent flashes in the second-rate) in the back of the head – caused by the neuralgia, are gone. What remains is a tension-type headache that runs from the neck to behind the ear and into the temples. In some moments I am painless. The neurologist reminded me to be patient. It can take months for the pain to be completely gone. If necessary, you can double the dose again. Well at least I sleep well again. Unfortunately, two massive tooth root inflammations have now joined. (?) I almost went mad with pain. Nothing helped anymore. Only the dentist – and I am now in (root) treatment. Side effects: especially at the beginning of great irritability to aggressiveness. Slight constipation. If everything has settled down a bit, I can not concentrate on talking or reading for long. Feel impatience towards other people. Was written sick so far and slept every day in addition to the night (7-8 hours) again 2-3 hours. Feel euphoric for a while, even to total exhaustion. Hope I do not fall asleep in the shop 🙁 (have to do with many people) So far, 1 kg gain in weight with moderately increased appetite. (But also little exercise) I now let me treat my teeth (which are otherwise good or were otherwise) and I am increasingly concerned with what the pain wants to tell me.normal is not that suddenly such strong uncontrolled pain occur and try to accept and then let go! 🙂 Wish you all the best!

    Lyrica for Pain (chronic)

Paracetamol comp stada: The pain was usually well contained, in between I had many episodes of pain and took 3 x 1 tablet daily .. However, I had to fight a lot with constipation. For a short time I would recommend Paracetamol comp, but in the long run this medicine did not help me and I was prescribed Lyrica by the doctor. Lyrica 50 mg: This medicine did not help me personally; I had scary with the side effects, such. Fatigue, slackness, depression, extreme word-finding disorders, dizziness and loss of appetite. At the beginning of the intake I had to deal with pain for 1-2 days, but then they decreased to a relatively bearable level. Unfortunately came after the second week many episodes of pain and the described side effects made me very, very hard! My doctor then prescribed Katadolon S long. Katadolon S long: For two weeks I take 1 tablet daily and after about 1 week finally disappeared the side effects of Lyrica, especially my extreme fatigue. I am now much more efficient after 2 weeks (and do not always lie around on the sofa!). When I do physically (medium-light) work, then it happens that I also feel the activities painful, but on the whole I’m really satisfied. If I can do it I design my day with active and quiet phases. The look into the soul life helps too! Unfortunately, the worry remains whether I will depend on this drug in the long run.

Lyrica for A headache; Pain (chronic)

At first I had good results with Novalgin, then quite good results with Tramadol (Tramadolor), but the side effects: fatigue, nausea, total loss of appetite, gagging, vomiting, drying of the skin, total constipation. Since Tramadol no longer worked properly, I was prescribed Lyrica. First 150mg / day, then the double dose. The pain attenuation is good. Side effects, however, are tiredness, constipation, drowsiness, dizziness, metallic taste on the tongue, loss of libido, double vision, listlessness, flatulence, increased appetite and thus unwanted weight gain, concentration problems. The dose was further increased because within a short time the pain was back. By now I was at 450mg / day. The side effects partially sneaked out. The damping of the pain was very good. As side effects were striking: fatigue, but also sleep disorders (3 hours awake in bed at night), drowsiness (I sometimes feel like I had drunk beer), dizziness, double vision, lack of desire and listlessness, loss of appetite, appetite increase and thus weight gain (me have increased over 10kg), concentration disorders. After over 4 months of taking the drug discontinued – which cost gigantic overcoming and will – and after more than a year of abstinence from Lyrica are still some side effect is not completely gone.
