    Clarithromycin for Flu; Sinusitis

For 10 days in the morning and in the evening 10ml clarithromycon juice, from the amoxicillin effervescent tablets after the third tablets on the second day of use my daughter complained of severe itching, headache, diarrhea, blurred vision and dry mouth. She had red pustules, hives, on her stomach. After taking Tavegil everything had gone back.

Clarithromycin for Lung infection; Bronchitis (acute)

Visual disturbances (as if a lightbulb flickers up and down), loss of taste, loss of odor, complete drying out of all mucous membranes in the mouth, nose, eyes; No more saliva in the mouth while taking it – completely dry! Swelling in the throat, numbness – asleep – on arms and legs, total weakness, anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia – 36 hours awake! Complete over-stimulation, over-twist, change in nature, metal taste in the mouth, taking it was like torture for me, since I did not dare to sell the drug, for fear of resistance. After the experiences I would not take it anymore. Presumably, I have suffered organ damage to the liver and bile. Am still not fully recovered after 2 months and feel constantly bad. Hopefully the damage is repairable. During the illness, I contacted the manufacturer and described the side effects. I was advised to take only the half of the remedy. After that, the complaints went back slightly, but came back. The remedy was then discontinued by my family doctor.

    Clarithromycin for Bronchitis (acute)

I had a painful cough about 20 / h and got painful cough up to 35x / min. In addition I lost the sense of smell, the sense of taste and the reading-sight. On the following day the prescribing doctor explains that it is the most modern medicine and within 24 hours no improvement is to be expected. Because of the persistent pain in the construction area when coughing I was transferred to the AKH, possibly with ambulance. I did not go. I bought Brochipret but still took 2 days on the o.g. Medicine. The pain increased unacceptably, while turning the head, the field of vision was tightened like a rubber band but in streaks, strong shingles feeling and the general body weakness increased. So no more driving a car. I discontinued the prescribed medicine. Then I rubbed sternum and belly with Tigerbalm, took Soledum 3×2 drag / d. The fever disappeared, the cough decreased to about 15x / h and the pain decreased to tolerable levels. The general body weakness disappeared, but the lack of smell, lack of taste (except mustard) and dizziness remained. The vision has improved again, but not to the original state. Since both drugs were used and discontinued at the same time, it can not be clearly stated that they are only clarithromycin. I consider the administration to be a serious bodily injury, even if the symptoms were listed as side effects. Based on the package leaflet, no organ is free of side effects. The distribution should be prosecuted.

Side effects: Pain; Blurred vision; Dizziness

    Clarithromycin for Lung infection

Diagnosis: atypical lingual pneumonia Therapy: 14 days clarithromycin 500mg + ACC Hexal then 7 days Josalid 500mg + ACC Hexal thereafter 9 days Avelox 400mg (10 days therapy canceled on 9th day) Course: After the first week of therapy with clarithromycin there was an improvement However, the discomfort I still had purulent sputum. After the second week, an improvement in the radiograph was evident, but the purulent sputum, partially with traces of blood, persisted. After the third week (after 7 days Joslid) continue to shade in the radiograph and unchanged purulent ejection. After the fourth week (after 9 days Avelox) the purulent sputum remained unchanged. I did not consent to any further x-rays since I had already X-rayed four times at this time. From the fifth week and suspected serious side effects with Avelox, I discontinued the drug. Further treatment was with Symbicort forte. Effectiveness of Avelox: I can not give any information about that, as there was no improvement in the symptoms during the therapy. I doubt that in my particular case Avelox should have been prescribed. Suspected side effects with Avelox: The evening after taking Avelox for the first time, blurred vision, heart trouble, and noticeably increased heart rates occurred. On the second day I had visual disturbances, heart problems, high pulse rate and disturbances of balance, which made it impossible for me to walk upright. I lay down and continued to experience severe dizziness, headache and nausea (without vomiting). There were motor disturbances and articulation difficulties. Finally, I got extreme anxiety and racing heart. I spent the next 1-2 hours cowering on the floor until my condition returned to normal. However, it remained the next few days with a significantly reduced fine motor skills and phased headaches and heart problems. On the ninth day of taking Avelox, there was a spontaneous mortal fear and palpitations. The condition, which lasted about 3-4 hours, I overcame in crouching position. The next day, I changed the attending pulmonary specialist and, with his consent, stopped taking Avelox. Note on the ratings: The effectiveness and value for money were rated with 5 points, as the website of Sanego does not allow abstention. In fact, I can not judge whether a complete cure of the pneumonia has occurred and which drug may have caused it. Also for the price-performance ratio I can not give any information, since the medicines were taken over by the health insurance.

    Clarithromycin for Cold

After taking the sixth tablet I had to consult the doctor because of the side effects. He consented to the discontinuation of the drug, as I found a favorable course of the infection. In contrast to previous revenues from antibotics, I have been able to identify side effects as described in the package leaflet. These were nausea, headache, inner restlessness, depression and above all pain (feeling of pressure) in the region of the liver and slight visual disturbances.
