    Paroxetine for Depression

Tiredness, lack of concentration, orgasm disorders, weight loss or loss of appetite In the beginning I was very hesitant to take this medicine, the leaflet is very scary. Now I am very glad that I have chosen it, because it helps well and I just accept the side effect.

    Paroxetine for Depression

I rescinded the paroxetine after medical consultation because I did not tolerate this drug at all. Every day I was sick with vomiting, had rapid heartbeat, dizziness, tiredness, loss of appetite, lost 5 kg, had tingling in the limb measures, etc.

    Paroxetine for Social phobia; Depression

Have in recent years already made very good experiences with paroxetine.have taken it then over 1 year. Now I’m back at the beginning, so the side effects are quite annoying at the beginning. But with the time (I think 2.3 weeks) that’s fine. Side effects with me (at the beginning): Muscle twitching, loss of appetite, stomach rumbling, dilated pupils, twists, insomnia, tremor, dizziness (reads worse than it is 🙂 Despite the side effects just beginning treatment with paroxetine, I can recommend this drug .Ideal for me, because it treats many illnesses at the same time. With the settling I did not have the problems that are always so described, good is probably different from person to person. I had alcohol at the time as a crutch to settle, of course net is so great.

    Paroxetine for Mood swings

I took 20mg of paroxetine every morning. Strong nausea and very shaky hands, even restless legs occurred thereby. These were the strongest and most lasting side effects while taking. Apart from that, there are also occasional nosebleeds, blurred vision, hardly any appetite, and on 1, 2 days something like hallucinations (the feeling that the ground would be rolling, things would turn and move even though they did not move). The treatment with paroxetine was stopped after 20 days because of the strong side effects.

    Paroxetine for Depression

Suffering from panic attacks and depression for 3.5 years, which was better, sometimes worse, but in the last six months have become extremely worse, that I could not eat more and lost 6 kg! From time to time I took 1 xanor 0.5mg to overcome hard times, but then I was so exhausted and worried, sad that my mother made me an appointment with the psychiatrist. I never dared to go, I did not think I was crazy like that, and I’ll be fine again. Only now that I take Paroxetine I know again what joie de vivre is. What balance and peace is and no more constraints and fears to have. 1 week: 10mg fatigue, loss of appetite, headache, short feeling of pressure in the ear, short electrocution in the legs, but orgasm difficulties mood improvement 2 – 3 Week: 20mg Wow, a new balanced happy lifestyle without attacks and fear !!! Madness, such great zest for life I did not know anymore, I did a lot alone, which I did just fine. Swimming, walks and, above all, I was not afraid to leave the house, because I noticed that no more attacks came, so I could nowhere more fit and stood with both feet self-conscious on the ground. I was able to eat normally again without having a kloss in my throat, a pressure on my chest and palpitations. NO nausea or dizziness at all, as I read so many times. 4 weeks: high need of sleep and now and then a slight headache, but unfortunately a small relapse in the morning with feelings of anguish, tearfulness and 3 panic attack symptoms, but this did not lead to a violent attack. Emotionally everything was negative again. Have counteracted with a half xanor 0.5mg and then went back relatively quickly in a normal state. Otherwise, during the last 4 weeks during the intake of short onset symptoms of panic attacks, which have not increased despite the fear of anxiety. The orgasm problems are back to normal. In 2 days I have to go back to the doctor, who will tell him everything and possibly my dose is increased. I can only recommend Paroxetine, even if the side effects are not easy in the beginning, but that settles and it is the key to a new happy lifeAnd I find the panic attacks and life listless to spend in a gray prison much worse than the side effects !!!

Also, if I did not think it was so unlikely that my neurologist made a misdiagnosis, I took the tablets first, hoping that maybe they will lead to an improvement, but just because lack of sleep earlier for the increase , or partly led to the onset of my symptoms, then it was not better by the paroxetine. I have not slept more than 7 hours on any day that I have taken paroxetine so far, and in most nights it was 5 hours, but sometimes only 3 or 4. Since the beginning of the intake, I also feel listless and impotent and I also have the feeling that I am no longer able to enjoy activities I was looking forward to. my lack of drive also went so far in part that I should take an appointment and knew that I would be late if I did not hurry slowly, but I somehow managed not to hurry and did not feel stressed even though my pulse continued to rise, which did not fit my quiet mood. To this day, I do not feel that the paroxetine helped, but that it only made it easier to ignore the symptoms, so it feels a bit like I came to the doctor with an injury and would be hurt and hurt with the diagnosis a painkiller been sent home. I can imagine that paroxetine helps people who are actually suffering from an anxiety disorder and that the inwardly anesthetic effect helps them to calm down, but in my case there is only an accumulation of unpleasant side effects, a worsening of the condition but of relief to ignore the whole, as long as the symptoms are not so strong that I can not ignore them anymore. however, one of the most unpleasant side effects is the lack of concentration, I feel as if I have fallen asleep mentally, making it almost impossible to get creative and greatly reduce the ability to learn, people who rely on using their brain So I do not advise paroxetine. Oh, and before I forget it, I have since the beginning of strange strange dreams, which are usually hedge and in which often occurs violence, which sometimes wakes me up with a high pulse, which can be quite uncomfortable and often start the day already bad leaves. Since I’ve written so much, I’ll save the rest of time from lack of appetite to a lack of hunger, despite obvious need for food, lack of fatigue and seemingly almost completely shifted to the night urine production, which further complicates sleep.

Paroxetine for Psychosomatic disorder; Social phobia

I’ve been taking Paroxetine for 6 weeks now and I have to say I’m doing much better. Previously had a pretty bad phase which has been expressed by anxiety disorders with accompanying obsessive thoughts and psychosomatic symptoms such as diarrhea, general digestive problems, etc. This constant pondering on what could happen in certain situations and the physical discomfort has caused a moderate depression. Then I visited my psychiatrist, who prescribed me paroxetine. Had previously been prescribed sertraline, which did not work for me (except that I was dead tired) and was so skeptical about this drug. I must say the first two weeks of use were the HORROR! Had very bad thoughts of suicide, severe nausea (especially in the morning), loss of appetite, nocturnal nightmares, increased fears and came in the morning almost not out of bed. I was on the verge of putting the medicine off again as it was almost impossible for me to go to work. Since I had read in the instruction leaflet that in the first weeks everything can get worse, I reduced the dose in the second week of intake again from 20mg to 10mg (as in the first week) and hoped that the side effects would subside, what then also happened after about 2 weeks. From then on, I took 20mg again and I got better day by day. This constant pondering has greatly improved and social anxiety has also diminished (for example, in a seminar last week in a seminar it was easy to talk to the whole group). The psychosomatic problems have improved (no more diarrhea, no strange stomach sounds). It sets in a slight feeling of equality, which is positive for me, because I have always taken everything else very much to heart. In summary, I can say that this feeling of hopelessness had suddenly disappeared and I feel something like happiness again. Since I’m more of a skeptic about such meds, I never thought that something like paroxetine would have a positive effect. I am writing this post because I want to give hope to others who, like me, feel really bad a few weeks ago.

    Paroxetine for Depression

I took 10mg paroxetine for the first 2 days. On the first day I felt a little better on the second night then severe anxiety and amplification of the symptoms. Paroxetine 20 mg starting on the 3rd day, improvement of the symptoms, but other side effects such as diarrhea, mild headache, and erectile problems as well as orgasm inability, as well as loss of appetite. In addition, insomnia occurred later, but this does not have to be directly related to the drug, eventl. Other influences have reinforced my depression. After 2-3 days without paroxetine the side effects were gone. I have now switched to mirtazapine after consultation with the doctor and will report my experiences in a few days.

    Paroxetine for Depression

Hello! have been taking paroxetine for a week now. My neurologist first ordered me 10 mg in the morning. I felt very good on the first and second day. Meanwhile, unfortunately, some quite significant side effects have set in. These include loss of appetite, insomnia, mild headaches and an increase in anxiety. I once again had a fairly severe panic attack in the store, which has not occurred since I opipramol in intensity. Take the opipramol for about half a year. Initially worked very well, but then lessened in effect. My questions would be: a) Are 10 mg paroxetine sufficient? b) When does the anxiety situation with paroxetine improve? c) how is the combination of opipramol and paroxetine to be evaluated?
