    Fluoxetine for Fatigue

I’ve been taking fluoxtine (20mg) for 5 weeks and have not had any positive effects so far. From side effects such as fatigue, loss of appetite, etc., I can also report. The worst side effect, however, is that I move since the dosage of 10 to 20mg only absent through life. I perceive everything very belatedly and feel like an observer who lets the world go by without comment. And this feature does not usually suit me. I also tried fluoxetine with alcohol. I did not feel that I tolerated less. However, I could only very vaguely remember the entire evening.

Take fluoxetine for 1.5 years. Reason: anxiety disorder (social anxiety, claustrophobia, emetophobia) My first experience with an antidepressant. Started with 20mg, reduced because of too strong side effects after 3 days and then slowly rebuilt to 20 mg. Take now for over a year 20mg daily in the morning. The first weeks severe side effects: nausea, loss of appetite, severe lack of concentration (I was actually completely beside me), severe headache, forced yawning, dry mouth, tiredness, night sweats. Better after about 2-3 weeks. Conclusion after 1.5 years: I can go back to work and work. Emotions, however, have fallen by the wayside. I’m pretty much indifferent, I do not feel like doing anything, I can not get up to sport or doing business anymore, I’m generally not interested in anything. I’m almost always tired and sleep 9 to 10 hours – in the afternoon I’m often so sleepy that I have to lie down. In addition to the fatigue and indifference: night sweats, sexual aversion, orgasm inability. At the end of the year I would like to slowly reduce my dose and let it escape. I would like to – despite all the fears – once again feel something like enthusiasm …

    Fluoxetine for Depression

After taking opipramol and other tests for a long time take Fluoxetine, 40mg. Have increased in this period, a total of 10kg and after a short stop, it goes up even further! And despite the lack of appetite there is less than before. In addition, my migraine attacks are more severe and more frequent than before. In addition, my monthly cycle has changed and I feel with my hot flashes as in menopause. But that can not be due to my age.

    Fluoxetine for Adh syndrome

It’s my first antidepressant (at 48, I’m proud of myself). I was a bit anxious about the side effects in the first 3 days (1/2 tablet). Headache; I am used, I have taken no countermeasures. Nausea; I just take this way. Extreme loss of appetite; Should I complain about it? Weight loss; I consider that a reward. I’ll start celebratingHooray! Fatigue / yawn; Shit … me on it! Despite all complaint I’m traveling daily. Impairment of concentration; I am special caution driving a car. At the household and working life (8 St./Tag) can be something to remember. Impairment of thought; I do not take anything personally anymore. The feeling that everything is too bright or that I speak too loud. Despite all side effects, I drive at least 35Km car every day. The doctor had me confident, I could do it.

    Fluoxetine for Depression

I took the medication for depression. I also noticed something relatively quickly. I realized that I became more stable in my mood. There were no highs, but no more deep ones. It made me tougher with criticism. The negative was that I was no longer hungry. First I thought it was good, but later I had to force myself to eat (I forgot it) and thus lost 20 kg, so it was heavily underweight. I could not exercise my sport anymore, because I had heart palpitations and circulatory problems directly. The doctors said that it could not come from the drug. I had a blood test done and so on until I then discontinued the pills myself, after which I quickly gained weight again.

    Fluoxetine for Depression

I had to take fluoxetine in addition to my therapy and stop after 3 months, because the side effects were no longer tolerable. Due to my depression, I was in treatment anyway, in addition, then came the medium. For 2 weeks everything was ok, no effect but no side effect. Then I slowly but surely got worse, I pulled back more, became even sadder and more desperate than I already was and kept playing with the idea of killing myself. I had no more appetite, no desire for nothing and got additionally migraine, which is not gone until today. After almost two and a half months, I tried to kill myself by taking all the sleeping pills we had. Thankfully they had interactions with each other, so I just fainted and my stomach had to be purged. No nice experience … Well, after three months as I said, I stopped taking it. In the last month, I had lost 11 kilos (from 59 to 48 kg) and then had to spend 5 months in a hospital. Never again!!!

Fluoxetine for Anxiety and panic attacks; Depression

My experience with fluoxetine was unfortunately negative. Because of depression but also because of recent panic attacks and anxiety, I wanted to try fluoxetine, since you do not gain as much weight as other ADs. My doctor said at the beginning that I have to be patient for at least 3 weeks (10mg) in the morning, but the NW were so strong after 2 weeks that I could not take a day longer to take fluoxetine. I have lost 3 kilos in 2 weeks because the appetite is completely gone and my panic has become 100x worse, I could not sleep anymore and I was even more depressed than before Fluoxetine! I do not want to scare anyone here, it may help others, but then I changed the drug from day to day (paroxetine 10mg) and after one tablet the fear was immediately better! The panic almost gone! With fluoxetine you really have to be patient, but if you get the feeling that things are getting worse and not better then please change the medication.

    Fluoxetine for Drive disorders

Side effects: the first few weeks gastrointestinal discomfort, e.g. Diarrhea, pain in the upper abdomen, thereby initially loss of appetite. At the beginning of therapy I had inner restlessness and sleep disturbances, which disappeared after about 3 weeks. Benefits: unlike amitriptyline and mirtazapine, you do not feel permanently tired and distressed, and do not get fat because you are always hungry. I tolerate this anti-depressant much better than mirtazapine and amitriptyline. The effect came to me already after 2 weeks and I feel at the moment very relaxed and resilient, I must be too, because I have three children and am working.

    Fluoxetine for Obsessive compulsive disorder

Treatment with fluoxetine started with 10mg and was done after about two months at 20mg per day. After only a few days, I was able to discover an increase in drive, and after a good month and a half, the frequency, intensity, and number of times I had recovered my obsessive thoughts decreased by a good third. But over time, there was a restless urge to move, decreased appetite, weight loss of about 5kg, depression and strong suicidal thoughts, which led to discontinuation of the drug. There were no depressive disorders prior to treatment with fluoxetine. Even after treatment, these depressions continue to persist. I have not been taking fluoxetine for five months now and I have not taken the drug with other medicines. In general, however, I can not say that fluoxetine has improved my situration. Nevertheless, I do not regret having decided to donate this supplement because I believe that it can help many people and that the side effects do not always have to be that strong …

    Fluoxetine for Bulimia; Depression

Hardly any side effects, everything pretty well tolerated. Initially, nausea and loss of appetite, which I regarded as an advantage. I take fluoxetine mainly because of bulimia, to avoid binging. It cheers up the mood noticeably, but it’s also no miracle cure. It helps not to sink. But you have to keep your head above water yourself! You can not get rid of depression, but it helps to make it more bearable. A big disadvantage, however, is the persistent constipation. Without laxative there is nothing more. Restlessness and insomnia I can not find more than before. On the whole, highly recommended!

Fluoxetine for Eating disorder; Drive disorders; Depression

Fluoxetine / Prozac: I have taken this drug intermittently for several years, between 0 and 60mg. Against fears and obsessions it helps very well, on the whole it makes me more stable and emotionless, which I do not feel as negative. To test the effect, I have taken up to 60mg, but I was still driveless, if satisfied. At the beginning, I lost my appetite, but that soon disappeared. Overall, it slows down my metabolism (I think), I’m increasing faster. (Compared to other depressants but not bad). Fluoxetine reduces the sexual desire, but at low dose this settles down to some extent. Other side effects during the first two weeks were abdominal pain, headache, hair loss. The good thing about Fluoxetine is the high half-life of the drug, it stays in the body for a long time and it’s not that bad if you forget to take it. Also, it can be easier to slink it. !! This drug is dangerous in connection with alcohol. Alcohol and fluoxetine reinforce each other and so I am euphoric and completely detached by alcohol but also incredibly fast drunk which can change very quickly quite quickly. Also, the initial side effects have again shown very clearly. Too much alcohol means for the next day: anxiety, confusion, Depersonalisierungsgefühle, hair loss etc … Alcohol should not actually drink during treatment, in moderation, but my doctor has granted me, however, this measure with Fluoxetine is very very very low . !! Solvex / Reboxetine: Drive boosting! Although medications work differently for each one of them, I take at most a quarter of my 4mg tablet (and not every day) as it is extremely effective. I am much more structured, able to concentrate better and less hungry. I suddenly manage to keep my apartment clean and tidy; D strangely, I am also strangely better at my reflection (usually having a totally distorted self-perception) and greater sexual desire. Too much of the drug (and that’s already 2mg for me!) And side effects right at the beginning of the treatment: aggression, irritability, confusion, palpitations, pimples, sleep disorders (constant awakening, waking too early …)

    Fluoxetine for Drive disorders; Depression

I take fluoxetine for the second time in 7 years. For the first time, my panic attacks improved so well that I could hardly believe it. After 2 years I put it down because my life had completely changed and stable I was. I reserved the right to take it again. 4 weeks ago it was as far as I asked if I could not get fluoxetine again because I had had good experiences with it. I had taken on the advice of my doctor Cymbalta last year with unbearable side effects such as shaking and constant cold sweat. After weaning … which took weeks, I did not feel like going through such weeks again and let it stay completely. But now … I had never really recovered from the birth of my child, which was unexpectedly very dramatic in 2012. I worked in the household and in the care, only that he is such a sunshine, let me continue. Then again and again I got serious illnesses that were also associated with surgery. And always one on it. I could not anymore. Fluoxetine 20mg increased over 30mg to 40mg daily … for 4 weeks. I am sooooo happy that I took the step to try it again after the Cymbalta disaster. Side effects included mild nausea and diarrhea. Night sweats and loss of appetite. I’m more nervous nerves even if I get little sleep at night, I’m the budget with left and even have fun and fun dating with friends. I had tried this out of simple lack of strength lately to avoid … which is of course an absurdity. I can only say … I would resort to fluoxetine again and again when I realize it will be difficult again. I would probably have saved a lot if I had taken it sooner but I wanted to wait. I can recommend it anyway.

Side effects: Diarrhea; Night sweat; Anorexia; Nausea

    Fluoxetine for Depression

I had to take fluoxetine for 10 months. I am a 16 year old girl and was treated for depression. The following happened: – I lost 11 pounds (from 59 to 48 !!) – my headaches have increased to migraines, which I am not going to break today! – I have not slept through the night for the last 5 months, until today I have sleep problems. – If I slept super-sweet, I had incredibly real and scary dreams, – anxiety, panic attacks and paranoia were part of everyday life. The only positive was that I no longer had suicidal thoughts.
