    Prednisolone for Arthrosis

I started using prednisolone 40 mg because of a deterioration in my copd. It followed a high-altitude flight. I was full of verve and thought it was great that I suddenly felt so good. My pain in my joints was gone, too. Finally run painless again. That was great. Together with my doctor, I agreed to permanently take 5 mg because of osteoarthritis. Imperceptibly, my psyche changed. I became aggressive, had mood swings, and got very bad anxiety and depression. At some point I came to the conclusion that it has to do with the prednisolone. I just stopped taking it. Unfortunately, the pain started again. My new family doctor prescribed my prednisolone again. I started 15 mg again 3 weeks ago. I should take 15 mg, 12.5 mg, 10 mg, 7.5 mg for 1 week until I reach 5 mg. At 15 mg, I was almost in high spirits again. Now I am at 10mg and have very bad anxiety and panic attacks and depression. I came to the conclusion that I would rather endure the pain, rather than these states of anxiety. If possible I do not want to take cortisone anymore.
