Ciprofloxacin for Hurt; Urinary tract infection

First, the doctor found a gastritis and a urinary tract infection. After two days of taking Cotrim forte and Pariet Seven at night Kolliken. Taking Buscopan, then slight improvement. After bleeding, liver inflammation was noted. Then change to ciprofloxacin, as it should also help for bile duct inflammation. After three days of taking another Kollik took place. Again slight improvement with Buscopan. Then just wait and drink tea. After two weeks, again strong urgency with pain, urine but no evidence of bacteria. Irritable bladder? Medical history continues. At the moment I’m only taking something for the pain, Novalgin drops and Buscopan, but how long is this going to last? I have been ill for 4 weeks. If someone can help me, just go ahead, I’m despairing. binies@web.de

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

One tablet each morning and evening because of a urinary tract infection. On the 3rd day application stopped because it brought me no improvement, but only side effects. On the first day everything else OK, on the second day muscle pain, first alternately (sometimes calf right, sometimes thigh left) then it has limited to the left arm. Especially when I used my hand, it hurt like I had hit it somewhere before. When on the third day then a tingling in my arm began, that also did not go away, I stopped the intake and got another antibiotic prescribed. For that I had to give another urine sample before and there was no improvement. I already knew that before, because I still had blood in my urine. So I would say try it, it helps some. As soon as NW become noticeable immediately stop and go to the doctor. Sometimes people are still fighting weeks, months later with NW But everyone is and reacts differently to medications, especially antibiotics

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

I have been prescribed Ciprofloxacin 250mg twice a day for 5 days by my internist. I asked both my doctor and the pharmacist if this drug has any noticeable or common side effects. Since I have an orthopedic problem anyway. No, this drug is super tolerated and it is a great antibiotic! I was mainly told by the pharmacist! After a dose (in the evening), I woke up the following morning with extreme sore throat (and very swollen lymph nodes on the neck). I read the leaflet again and saw that in case of throat-throat-throat pain, the doctor should be contacted and the medi. should be discontinued. I called my internist and the receptionist asked. Dr. says you should the medi. necessarily continue! OK. That’s me! Until the 3rd day of use, more and more pain showed on the right knee and the tendons on the legs. That was yesterday, Friday evening. The pain has worsened. I can barely get up. Above all, the stairs are bothering me. Now take 3 times a day because of this severe pain. Of course, I stopped taking ciprofloxacin on the third day (after taking 6 tablets). Doctor I reach the WE course no-hospital would be in the worst case, an option. In any case, I find it sad how little one of the many cases of these mostly also irreparable side effects is said! It’s not like the side effects disappear after you stop taking them – they’re getting worse! And as I read not only with me! I will certainly contact the patient lawyer! I advise everyone to take this antibiotic! Because with something that would have disappeared after completion you can live, but that nerve damage, tendon tears, etc … are only possible – and also occur more often, I recommend everyone first to look for alternatives and only in the last resort to take this stuff , I will NEVER take it again !!!

Side effects: Sore throat; Crave pain

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

For me it is still such a terrible memory of this drug, I have kept the shafts as a warning. on the 5th day of ingestion (I should take 1 tablet for 10 days), it started with violent spasmodic abdominal pain, tremors, cold sweats, extreme weakness within a few minutes, circulation at the bottom, diarrhea that was unstoppable, then sudden Blood better bleeding in the stool. Today I still wonder how I got over this night, my doctor later explained to me that my body was dealing with a pseudomembranous colitis. NEVER again this drug!

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

I received this medicine from an internist because of a mild urinary tract infection. It was six tablets. In the evening I took the first. A few hours later, I was in pain on the left superstructure, as well as strong side stitches. The next day in the morning a circulatory collapse with subsequent vomiting that lasted the whole day: I vomited half-hourly for 12 hours and had severe abdominal pain and had a terrible headache. It was not possible to continue taking the drug. Then in the evening slight improvement. Then, always in the afternoon, these petty stomach-like abdominal pains, plus drowsiness, now slowly evaporating after six days. I find that these severe side effects are not related to the severity of the infection. Never before have I reacted so much to an AB. Can not recommend the drug.

After taking ciprofloxacin was nothing like before. I think I’ve been permanently damaged since then. I could barely walk, I thought I had MS. Muscle and joint pain, tremors, concentration problems, heart problems, incipient meningitis, blurred vision, etc., etc. countless symptoms. In my case, it was attributed to a chronic neuroborreliosis, which I have a lot, yes ALSO, but this remedy makes MUCH worse, or at first causes neurological damage! It only occurred to me in connection now because I got the remedy again. (three years later, again because of a urinary tract infection) and AGAIN after taking EXTREME much worse. What I’ve always interpreted mainly as a bout of Lyme disease. Because I am since (2011) MOST bad, and sometimes VERY bad. I have noticed that it was so bad even after taking it. I do not know if you can ever heal this again. What helps is the antibiotic azithromycin over several weeks, three tablets a week and a good detoxification, for example. with Heidelberger Chlorella algae and homeopathy. In addition, a colon rehabilitation and reconstruction of the intestinal flora with Symbioflor. I would like to make it known to those affected and that the product comes from the market !! It harms many many people !! Even people have taken after taking almost or even completely, the life, as it has a strong effect on the psyche! The remedy belongs IMMEDIATELY forbidden!

After taking only 4 tablets a 500mg, discomfort throughout the movement apparatus, these are persistent. Cracking of the joints, soreness in the calves, pressure and pricking of both Achilles tendons. 2nd day after weaning, confusion, Strange perception of the environment, trembling. I feel as if I have poisoned me, very much. I hope I’m recovering soon, I got scared by the many negative reports. I got the tablets on suspicion! I wonder if the Hippocratic Oath is taken seriously, it is unreasonable to prescribe this poison, especially since I only had a slight urinary tract infection. What shoud that? Can you just like it? I do not think so.

Obtained after postoperative UTI (in man). I am not sure if I have taken Cipro before – if, then without side effects except maybe digestive tract (I almost always have this with antibiotics). This time 2x500mg were prescribed daily for actually 7 days. After three days in the morning mild tinnitus. Since OP was on the head, not even assigned to the drug in the approach. On the fourth day then pain in the calf left, later lower leg right. Here, too, initially assigned possibly too long immobilization after OP. Also, light sleep problems and hypnosis with Atemnotsgefühl during almost the entire duration of use. Magnesium was taken on the fourth day in the evening, which helped almost immediately to improve, but only for a short time. Then I finally came up with the idea that it is the Cipro! Discontinued. Wait for improvement of the symptoms (1 day after removal).

Heared even after 3 After 3 days my legs are still heavy like lead and full of water. I can only advise against any of this drug.

Four hours after taking the first and only tablet ciprofloxacin, three red, very itchy wheals formed on only one buttock half. The affected area of the skin was previously exposed to pressure, because I was sitting cross-legged there. These wheals disappeared after about an hour.

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

My son received ciprofloxacin in a urinary tract infection. On the day of the first dose pain in the foot (heel) was noticeable. These got worse. On the 4th day we discontinued the drug. The urinary tract infection is gone, it remained a bad joint inflammation with pain in the tendons and ligaments of the ankle. After examination by an orthopedist / surgeon (chief physician of a hospital) this tried us to make it clear that not the drug Ciprofloxacin has triggered this, but you could even get such a joint inflammation. This time coincided coincidence. Since my son has never had any arthritis, he was not interested. For me is clearly the cause of this joint inflammation the drug Ciprofloxacin and it is a bottomless impudence as a patient not to be taken seriously. My son is lying flat now because he can only move his foot in severe pain. The behavior of the doctor catastrophic. It is known that this drug has strong side effects and it is still prescribed. The urinary tract infection could have been treated with another antibiotic.

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

Hello, Due to taking Ciprofloxacin and Tavanic, I had extremely severe tendons and joint pain. The joints had cracked and were severely inflamed. I then had magnesium, vitamin C, vitamin B complex and vitamin E. The pain got a little better. From a friendly doctor, I had learned that in the articular and tendon pain often a shortage of amino acids could be present. I ordered the Amino Acid complex from Nature Power, and after taking the first tablets, all the pain was gone. That was my experience. I would like to help many people with severe pain. There are certainly also amino acids from other manufacturers. The effect was incredible. Even this joint crash was gone. Maybe this was only the case with me, but I think many sufferers with pain should also test that. Thomas

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

I took 2 x daily Ciprofloxacin 250 mg for 5 days because I had a urinary tract infection. From the second intake day, I had the feeling of being completely beside me. I was very irritable and restless, had a bad headache and could hardly sleep. Then there were sweats, a general feeling of weakness, and an indefinable pull in both groins and the rectum. My family doctor closed up to a certain state of rest anything but side effects of ciprofloxacin … The urinary tract infection is well cured, the urine was o. Today, 10 days after discontinuation of the drug, fortunately all non-side effects are gone. I will definitely not take Ciprofloxacin and would always advise against this drug!

Habs for a mild urinary tract infection get 100mg twice a day. After the first pill everything itched and I tolerated it, because it ended after an hour, at night I felt sick. After the second tablet in the morning I was still bad and I was not hungry anymore. In the evening my legs hurt so much that I drove to the medical emergency service which immediately recognized the side effects. Now I and I have not taken a tablet for a day, still have stomach intestine problems even if the pain has become less. I definitely do not recommend it.

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

Immediately after taking the first pill I developed muscle weakness, which is particularly pronounced in the thighs, so that I sometimes have difficulty climbing stairs. In addition, since taking Cipro, I have been extremely weak, lacking in drive, have balance and speech problems (exchanged words). A massive daytime tiredness has also set. At night I have massive sleep disorders. In the winter I already got Cipro because of a nose bladder infection. At that time, I was suffering from a postpartum depression and taking Cipro I briefly had signs of psychosis and the depression was MASSIV worsened. Whether Cipro at least worked then I do not remember. Unfortunately, I had not written down the name of the drug and have stupidly taken it again now. My conclusion is: the bladder infection is not gone even after 5-day use, the side effects have remained, so I am currently not able to work. Stay away from this car!
