    Ranitidine for Nausea; Stomach complaints

Until my gastroscopy, ranitidine was given to me once a day. After 2 weeks I took 2 times a day, because my complaints did not stop. Suddenly got big painful pea-sized bumps on both ears. A very rare side effect called erythema multiforme. Otherwise good compatibility. Had to stop taking it immediately!

    Ranitidine for Nausea; Stomach complaints

For about 4 months (October 2016), I have irritating cough, not strong and not daily. My doctor told me that it comes from the stomach, too much acid, reflux. She prescribed me omeprazole and referred me to the internist for a gastroscopy. I did not tolerate the omeprazole, had extreme side effects, nausea, stomach pain, headache and diarrhea. After about 7 days taking I am back to my doctor, I told her about the side effects after which she prescribed me Pantropazol, I took about 10 days, the side effects were almost the same as in the case of omeprazole. Then I’m back to the doctor, I told her about the side effects, whereupon she was very surprised and told me that the pantropazole is actually very well tolerated, well, I do not! I should stop the pantropazole because I had gastroscopy in one week. I had no cough and heartburn while taking Ome- and Pantropazol, and I have heartburn not so common. The gastroscopy was all right, yeah. Until the beginning of December I was symptom free, then the irritated cough again, so I returned to the doctor, who then prescribed Ranitidine AL 300, at the same time I asked for a referral for a radiologist, I wanted to have my lungs x-rayed (because of the cough) Lungs looked good, but the side effects of ranitidine were terrible. Nausea, drowsiness, stomach ache. I discontinued the ranitidine after 7 days. Since then I have had heartburn every night (for 5 days). I was not yet back to my doctor, I worried first healing clay, which helps me very well during the day, only at night! For the night I take Talcid before going to sleep.
