    Clarithromycin for Respiratory infections

Immediately after the first dose severe dizziness and up to 3 hours after taking the feeling of vomiting constantly. In addition, immediately after taking a bitter taste on the tongue (try to drown it with tea and sage ointments). After taking the 5 tablet so far I feel no improvement and still have bad sore throat and difficulty swallowing. In addition, I have abdominal cramps and pain in the kidney area and feel totally flabby.

Clarithromycin for Respiratory infections; Bronchitis (acute)

Clarithrobeta received 250mg from the doctor for respiratory tract infections, especially bronchial tubes. From the second day onwards, the disease only improved slightly, but side effects became more frequent. About 4 hours after taking the first tablet, around noon, there were headaches, restlessness, dizziness, mild panic, loss of appetite, a bad stomach feeling, confusion, lack of concentration, physical weakness and general malaise. These side effects increased in the course of the evening and read until the following day.

    Clarithromycin for Respiratory infections

I’ve got clarithromycin on a sore throat. The first day was okay; no side effects. Actually, I tolerate any kind of medication quite well but not this one; On the second day, insomnia and mild depressive moods set in. I have to say that I am an anxiety patient but do not take any psychotropic drugs! On the second day, I lay down for a midday nap and woke up through the worst nightmares. The dream was so real that I got really scared when I woke up again. In the evening I had mild anxiety. Today the same; I lay down for a nap. This time the dream seemed even more real. I do not know if I was actually awake in between, but it all happened somehow in half sleep. I wanted to get up and was paralyzed. Until I opened my eyes. Then I realized that I was dreaming, but fell back to sleep, where it was again very confused. When I finally got up, because I was really scared to fall asleep again and dream this nonsense, I was completely confused! Instead of going to the bathroom, I suddenly stood in the stairwell! I am then with my dog Gassi first, so I can handle again. Now it works again. I will NOT continue to take the tablets. Especially mentally unstable persons, I strongly advise against this drug!

Approximately 2 days after ingestion I completely lost the taste and smell. I have the pack aufgrbraucht to the end (7 days 2 times / day 250 mg). The bacterial infection of the respiratory tract was still not fully cured. Very disturbing, however, is the total loss of the sense of smell and taste even after discontinuation of the drug.

Side effects: Smell loss; Taste loss
