Metformin for Overweight; Diabetes mellitus type ii

By taking metformin 2 x 1000 mg no real improvement in sugar levels, long-term value: 11.5. Glimepiride 1 x 3 mg prescribed after 4 months, significant improvement in blood sugar levels. Simultaneously with Glimepiride also started with Victoza, because of massive overweight. Victoza 0.6 ml for the first two weeks, then 1.2 ml in the evening. Compatibility of Victoza very good, since the beginning with 1.2 ml evening steady weight loss (decreased in 10 days 3 kg). No nausea, rarely headache but fluctuating blood pressure, mostly high. Hunger feeling and appetite are almost completely gone. After one month glimepiride discontinued, sugar levels continued to be good: about 130 in the morning

    Side effects: Anorexia

Metformin for Asthma; Overweight; Diabetes mellitus type ii

Victoza was re-prescribed to me as part of a rehab stay exactly one year ago and since then I have been injecting 0.6 mg daily. – Side effects have been a weight loss of 32 Kg since the beginning until today, a decrease of my Hba1c value from 8.6 to 5.6, combined with the feeling of feeling 15 years younger overall. Negative side effects were not detectable. I would like to add, however, that during the stay a relentless training on the disease diabetes took place the SO has taught me no family doctor or anyone else! Since then, I’ve radically changed my diet, and as a former motor dyslexic, I even do endurance sports regularly. – I consider this point very important in connection with the successes described at the beginning!
