Fluoxetine for Overweight; Sleep disorders; Obsessive compulsive disorder; Depression

I have been suffering from severe anxiety disorders for 9 years. After Zoloft got Cipralex over 2 years. No side effects. Good tolerated. My fears and panic attacks were barely there. Then last year I stopped the Cipralex without a doctor because I thought I was tough enough and fit again. Had 2 weeks to run on cotton wool. Dizziness … After 5 months, I then realized how that with the fears and Depression and compulsion started again and my general practitioner gave me fluoxetine (because I’m very overweight) and the drug would help reduce it. 14 days I went through hell with the side effects. The complete leaflet was in my body represented. The worst for me was the feeling as if I have drunk China oil. A chill after another. Panic … heart rate … Nausea. Also good weight loss. But since I had read here that one should persevere … I was brave. After 14 days I collapsed with my doctor with severe panic attacks and she has sent me to the hospital …. 5 weeks I was there stationary and was again adjusted to Cipralex … in the beginning 10 mg … then 15 mg … now 20 mg. In the evening to sleep in and out I take Valdoxan 25 mg and Dipiperon 20 mg. What can I tell you ? I feel like newborn The fear therapy in the clinic was awesome. Have learned more than in the last 9 years and will do a behavioral therapy. For the last few years, they have only been doing depth psychology with me … completely wrong. But how should one know that as a layman? I got no side effects from the Cipralex … I’m now in control of the fears … can fool around and laugh again. Shopping … shopping alone … sleeping alone at home … driving … is awesome I tell you! With the weight …. because I have an eating disorder (binge eating), I can not say so.In the clinic I lost 8 kilos despite Cipralex. Here at home I eat different again and also more … there is a kilo up. But in my opinion has nothing to do with the medi * Incidentally, I was told in the clinic that I can get rid of this disease COMPLETELY and WHOLE, when I work on myself and do my anxiety exercises. It’s really hard to bear, but I’ll do it to finally get quality of life again * Hold on – we can do it * grin *

    Fluoxetine for Obsessive compulsive disorder

First of all, I do not want to stop anyone here from taking his prescribed medications or even getting someone to stop his drug therapy. However, it is important to me to mention a major scandal. I myself have had the fluoxetine bother me because of obsessive-compulsive and anxiety disorders. It was really imposed on me. With the most flowery reports a la success rate of at least 40% and hardly any side effects. Yes, I have been warned about side effects (NW). Also on sexual dysfunction. My question as to whether these NWs are reversible was answered unambiguously and unequivocally yes. Now I am sitting there, have discontinued the drug for 14 days and it is still completely dead pants. Libido and erection = 0. My therapist calms me down with the long half-life and that’s why it can take a while for the male force to return. However, I have now found out that there are enough people whose sexual dysfunction persisted after taking SSRIs (keyword for research: PSSD, there are also self-help groups). The phenomenon has long been ignored by experts or psychologically canceled. Meanwhile, there is also peer-reviewed scientific literature on this topic. I hope now that I am really too impatient and soon the problem has resolved itself. With psychotropic drugs, I am personally, however, through. For me, the ups and downs of the mental illness + fulfilled sex life was much better than the current state. Again, no one should sell his meds because of this report. They work too. Fluoxetine helped me noticeably to reduce anxiety after 2 days. Of course, seriously depressed people or people who can not lead a livable life without psychotropic drugs should have access to these substances. However, everyone should be aware that they can cause permanent damage. Even if neither the doctor nor the leaflet tell you. All the best.

    Fluoxetine for Obsessive compulsive disorder

Even if one thinks of taking off the tablets, I had not made that experience. On the contrary, I was gaining weight again. I felt a certain coldness in my senses and could not really feel pain or pain After that, I escaped the first time, I got depression and I was totally zappelig.Seit August I came from 80mg down to 40mg and it was not much worse. But I then on my own After a few weeks I was very dizzy and my nerves were blank. It came back to good and bad feelings, but I felt again. Since I have learned new from the family doctor, that in a long-term study is not good for the Bodies are / consequential damages.

    Fluoxetine for Obsessive compulsive disorder

I switched from citalopram to fluoxetine because I had so many side effects with citalopram (especially weight gain, constant appetite, fatigue, loss of libido, lack of motivation, etc.). wanted to sell the cita, but unfortunately did not work out, it has set tormenting obsessive thoughts and panic again – & gt; I went back to the cita. After discussing it with my neurologist, I switched to fluox. It was great that I barely had more appetite and I lost 5-6 kilo within 2 weeks. However, it has seemed rather paradoxical with me and it came to even less desirable side effects: – strong inner restlessness-compulsive thoughts / coercive impulses (violent thoughts) -suizidgedanken / hopelessness -powerful panic attacks -permanent high anxiety levels above side effects probably also hung with the previous discontinuation of cita and the change between the two drugs. fluoxetine was supposed to help me against the obsessional thoughts, but it only got worse. Unfortunately I did not tolerate it. pity, because that would have been the appetite away. I have increased by citalopram namely 14 kilos: (am now back to citalopram.) So I’m very good psychologically (I can live with it again normally: D). super drug but unfortunately a few side effects, but I would rather buy than fear again, panic and this terrible hopelessness / despair.

Fluoxetine for Social phobia; Obsessive compulsive disorder; Depression

In the first week of taking (10 mg) I was extremely tired. I felt as if I had been packed in cotton, especially in the morning after I sweated extremely in my sleep at night. The feeling is comparable to how I felt as a child when I sweated out the whole fever after the effect of a suppository. In addition, there was an extreme increase in appetite, but after two weeks (20 mg) it subsided again. The obsessive thoughts were gone right after the first tablet intake. I was a stranger to myself, because I knew life only with obsessive thoughts, and suddenly it was so quiet … But I’ve got used to it now. It’s definitely nicer to be in here and now and finish things that you start. The fear of people has been reduced to a healthy caution from strangers. However, I only felt a mood-lightening effect after 8 weeks of taking the medication (30 mg). Then the fatigue disappeared. At the moment it is very hot (July 13, 2010) and I have a lot of water retention and a bit of confusion. The latter is not so bad. I’m just a bit forgetful, I’m dizzy and I sometimes say something different than I want, but I’m firmly convinced that I had said what I want (eg I want to say Hape Kerkeling, but say Helge Schneider and I am but convinced I would have said Hape Kerkeling). My fellow human beings point me out regularly. The serenity of the medis makes up for it all. If that serenity could only last forever, even if I cut the meds back out. Overall, I’ve gained six pounds since taking it for the first time.

    Fluoxetine for Obsessive compulsive disorder

Take because of an obsessive-compulsive disorder now for 2 months 20mg. The obsessive thoughts are gone for the moment and I get along better with being people. Unfortunately, the side effects are quite extreme. I can barely sleep through. I’m dead tired but can not sleep. My friend escapes almost every night because I’m so restless. I can barely keep my feet still and have the feeling I have a bum in my chest … so an inner turmoil. If I sleep then it is a maximum of 3 hours in the piece, in which I have pretty real-acting dreams and after waking up also demensprechend is a boon. Sometimes when I wake up I’m not even sure if I’ve dreamed it or if it’s real. In addition, I constantly have to go to the toilet at night … or have the feeling of having to have a constant bladder infection, although it is hardly possible after such a short time. However, the worst is sleep disorders. I can not get up in the morning and often post appointments. I’m always tired and feel so often at noon as broken as after a long day. I would be glad if I can give jmd tips vllt what you can do with sleep disorders with fluoxetine …. I’m already thinking of whether I should just settle …

    Fluoxetine for Obsessive compulsive disorder

Treatment with fluoxetine started with 10mg and was done after about two months at 20mg per day. After only a few days, I was able to discover an increase in drive, and after a good month and a half, the frequency, intensity, and number of times I had recovered my obsessive thoughts decreased by a good third. But over time, there was a restless urge to move, decreased appetite, weight loss of about 5kg, depression and strong suicidal thoughts, which led to discontinuation of the drug. There were no depressive disorders prior to treatment with fluoxetine. Even after treatment, these depressions continue to persist. I have not been taking fluoxetine for five months now and I have not taken the drug with other medicines. In general, however, I can not say that fluoxetine has improved my situration. Nevertheless, I do not regret having decided to donate this supplement because I believe that it can help many people and that the side effects do not always have to be that strong …

Fluoxetine for Obsessive compulsive disorder; Bulimia; Depression

At the beginning of the intake, especially severe headaches and nausea occurred, which disappeared completely after 3 weeks. I also had sleep problems, both falling asleep and waking up too early (around 4 or 5 in the morning). This problem also disappeared after about 4 weeks. Slightly decreased appetite and weight loss were noted. Further problems during the intake did not occur. The effect occurred after about 3-4 weeks (increase in motivation, fewer bingeing, easing of the compulsive acts).
