Lyrica for Arthritis; Migraine; Arthrosis; Neuralgia; Pain (chronic)

With the medication, my pain is so far under control that I can do my housework and participate in the social life limited. The side effects are with me, severe fatigue, dizziness, frequent circulation problems, severe sweating. If I do not take oxycodone punctually, the first withdrawal symptoms appear relatively quickly, I notice that at first, because my nose is suddenly closed, and I get a strong inner restlessness. And what is especially annoying is the chronic constipation, without Movicol nothing works.

    Lyrica for Intervertebral discs-op; Neuralgia

I had a two-time spinal fusion in May 08. In the abdominal op, a plexus injury with complete peroneural pleura developed. the pain in my lower leg was immense. At first I got again oxogesic-tbl, sevredol, durogesic plaster and a lot more. after completing the ahb, my pain doctor then gave me lyrica. I should increase up to 300 mg / die. at about 225 mg I’m already and I have to say that the side effects described above for me all do not apply, except maybe really more appetite, but so far no real weight gain, despite several weeks of ingestion. The effect is good, the pain in the nerves are largely under control, but they strengthen themselves a bit and I must always take 25 mg. a nice side effect is that my nocturnal sleep is great. the problems of previously with several hours of awake are gone at the moment. If all that remains, I’m thrilled with Lyrica.

Lyrica for Arthrosis; Disc prolapse; Neuralgia

Hello, I take now for the second time Lyrica because of the strongest nerve pain in chron. progressive lumbar spine syndrome, osteochondrosis, spondylolisthesis, sliding vertebrae, arthrosis in the range L4-S1. What bothers me the most is that I do not want to increase the dose and the 150 mg a day does not help me anymore. I torture myself from one day to the other, am fully employed by the way, have a lot of stress at work and could cry from 11 o’clock already, such torments I stand by every day. In addition, what torments me especially, not only the pain, no, during sex once a week I am now also totally unhappy, because I experience almost no orgasm anymore. It is so that stroking, etc. makes me very relaxed and makes me feel like it, but when it comes time, I just can not get to the climax and I am sadly sad about that. If only the Lyrica would dampen my pain, but that would not. What should I do? Actually, I would have to stiffen the vertebra L5 / S1, but before that I’m still backwards, since I’m only 54 years old and I’m just afraid that the pain afterwards is not better and I still need to Tabl. Nehemn.

    Side effects: Ineffectiveness; Libido loss

    Lyrica for Neuralgia

After 2 years of torture with disc problems and drug cocktails to morphine followed by a larger intervertebral disk surgery, which was first found that the nerve was extremely squeezed. After the operation, I suffered from severe nerve pain, abnormal sensations and numbness in the leg. There followed a horror week, as the pain was so severe that I could never sleep for more than 1/2 hour. In the rehab I was prescribed lyrics, which was my absolute salvation. First I took in the morning and evening each 150mg lyric. The pain has not been completely gone, but extremely reduced and so I have gained through the lyric again enormous quality of life. I can also work again. In the beginning I had severe dizziness, drowsiness and tiredness from side effects, which eventually subsided. The worst side effect was a weight gain of 17 kilos within 3 months, as I got through the drug veritable binge eating, which I did not know before of me absolutely. Today it is 21 kilos, which I hold with difficulty. Also, I suffer pretty much from muscle weakness. After the rehab, I started exercising regularly and frequently in the gym. The weights I took at first were ok, rather too small, so I could increase some. Despite intense training I had to reduce the weights month after month and could hardly keep up with the exercises after months of back exercises as the muscles tired very quickly. Even longer distances to walk with ever heavier. Even slight movement makes me sweat, I feel everything as extremely exhausting. Some time ago I did not get the original lyrics in the pharmacy, because this is too expensive, so now I only get pregabalin prescribed. I was told that the two medications are absolutely identical, but pregabalin is not that expensive. But I quickly realized that the nerve pain and even the discomfort increased significantly. My neurologist does not want to know about it. With the sport I had to pause now for some time on medical advice, since this was irritated by the enormous muscle tension of the nerve again more. Now I get an additional dose of 75mg at noon, which does not really help. Rather, it makes me even weaker. Unfortunately, a good deal of quality of life has now been taken away from me …

    Lyrica for Neuralgia; Pain (chronic)

It all started with a hearing loss. As the hearing loss was treated so far, my upper jaw suddenly began to hurt. Besides, I could not control my eyes anymore. I was then hospitalized for 14 days in the hospital and adjusted to Gapabentin and Mirtazapine. In the beginning it helped me very well. After about 6 months, the first side effects occurred. These were especially diarrhea and vomiting. I was in bed almost every 14 days with an upset stomach and had cramps and diarrhea. We searched the internet for a better drug. As we discovered on a forum the Mediament Lyrica supposedly well tolerated. I then had the medication prescribed by my neurologist. Since then I take 150 mg Lyrica 3 times a day for about 1 year. I have not regretted the change since then I feel much better and almost no side effects.

    Lyrica for Neuralgia

Lyrica, an antidepressant, I have taken about 2.5 years against the pain of neuralgia. In the adjustment phase I had dizziness, nausea and strong tiredness, which then passed after about 3 months. Then I had to constantly increase the dose because the effect was no longer sufficient. After 2 years and 3 months I had abruptly about 50% of the listed side effects, which were mentioned in the leaflet. The side effects that have burdened me the worst were the very strong aggressiveness (I’ve done quite a bit of rebellion due to vain reasons and therefore made several friendships almost broken) and the constant strong nosebleeds, sometimes I have a cup filling (capacity about 250 ml ) lost in a single nosebleed. And if you do that several times a day, it weakens a lot. The Lyrica then, especially because of the nose bleeding, discontinued from one day to the other, the first week did not happen, but the 2nd and 3rd week I had severe whole-body pain. So, when settle, then I recommend, then gradually and not abrupt. And then, for the purpose of Lyrica at Wikipedia, It says that pregabalin (the active ingredient of Lyrica) is harmful to the health and also has a CORROSIVE effect. Hello? Doctors prescribe that and it’s approved by the drug agency? Do they want to see us healthy or do they just want to profit? I think rather that the profit would like to make, because a 100er box per 100mg per capsule costs the health insurance each time 181,18 euro. I do not want to counter the drug, I just want to clear it up. (In the case of gabapentin, of which I took only 1 capsule, since this medicine has been completely knocked out of my paws for more than 24 hours, that behaves similarly to the harmful influence.) Regarding the tilidine and tramadol I can say that this Medicines work very well with me and are also very well tolerated, so with the two I have no side effects. To the drug amitryptillin, which is indeed an antidepressant, I have also been tentatively prescribed for the pain of neuralgia. However, I have taken only one tablet in total, then I got quite a hallucination shortly after taking it. By the way, since then, I reject any antidepressants because the tricyclic antidepressants (which include the amitryptillin) have the same mechanism of action and thus can lead to the same side effects and I may not take MAO inhibitors due to my asthma medication.

Lyrica for Intervertebral discs-op; Neuralgia; Pain (chronic)

M-beta belongs to the group morphine. Before being exposed to morphine, I had a number of other analgesics without any success. My blood levels were so miserable that no doctor knew what to do. Since I get along with morphine, my blood levels are also very good, so sometimes something positive. Unfortunately, other side effects such as: constipation, at first circulatory problems, loss of appetite …) are not enough, but I am clear today. Lyrica, I have against constantly, strong nerve tearing (100mg in the morning and 150mg in the evening). Now my constipation became a real problem for me. Circulatory / balance, vision problems and nausea were present. Memory disorders, decreasing attention, irritability, increased appetite (10kg in 10 months increased), loss of taste, dry mouth, abdominal distension, absolute listlessness and no desire for sex were also added. My liver value rose to 398 and should knowingly be no more than 40. Now we (doctor and I) wanted to let Lyrica run out within 3 days, which was far too fast. I got a heavy withdrawal. Very uncomfortable! Now we lower the dose within 14 days. I do not want to take Lyrica anymore because of the many side effects, which I have all received. I will then replace it with another medicine!

    Lyrica for A headache; Neuralgia

Hello dear fellow sufferers! I took daily 150 mg Lyrica daily and 3 times daily 1 tabl. Novalgin and in between Novalgin drops as needed. The dose was doubled after 1 week. The pain attacks (violent flashes in the second-rate) in the back of the head – caused by the neuralgia, are gone. What remains is a tension-type headache that runs from the neck to behind the ear and into the temples. In some moments I am painless. The neurologist reminded me to be patient. It can take months for the pain to be completely gone. If necessary, you can double the dose again. Well at least I sleep well again. Unfortunately, two massive tooth root inflammations have now joined. (?) I almost went mad with pain. Nothing helped anymore. Only the dentist – and I am now in (root) treatment. Side effects: especially at the beginning of great irritability to aggressiveness. Slight constipation. If everything has settled down a bit, I can not concentrate on talking or reading for long. Feel impatience towards other people. Was written sick so far and slept every day in addition to the night (7-8 hours) again 2-3 hours. Feel euphoric for a while, even to total exhaustion. Hope I do not fall asleep in the shop 🙁 (have to do with many people) So far, 1 kg gain in weight with moderately increased appetite. (But also little exercise) I now let me treat my teeth (which are otherwise good or were otherwise) and I am increasingly concerned with what the pain wants to tell me.normal is not that suddenly such strong uncontrolled pain occur and try to accept and then let go! 🙂 Wish you all the best!
