    Maxalt for Migraine

Suffering since the 12th year of life under severe migraine attacks, especially in menstruation, an attack lasts up to several days and does not go away without medication. I took ketoprofen earlier, but that attacked my gastrointestinal tract for years. I’m 22 years old Maxalt recently. Am satisfied, when the pain is gone, you feel very well and relieved and fresh. Side effects that bother me are especially the drowsiness / trance state / dreams lasting about one hour, and days of dry mouth. I only whisper and want to avoid speaking. And especially a tightness in the calves takes me for hours on. I have a little shortness of breath but I often have it before taking it because of unexplained reason. I’m generally very happy to have found this drug. Slower reaction, I tend not to notice. One hour after coming in, I can play demanding piano pieces for a long time without any concentration.

    Maxalt for Migraine

I’ve had migraines for over 20 years and pretty much all the medications that come through it. For a year now I’m taking Maxalt lingua and I’m very happy with it. Since my seizures also take up to 6 days from time to time, I have to stop for 6 consecutive days to take the Maxalt. So from the third tablet, I feel about half an hour after taking a tightness in my throat, which is unpleasant, but good to endure, this disappears then after just over an hour wieder.Meine calves feel like, just before a calf cramp. I’m very interested in how much Maxalt you can take without prejudice to the month. The statements of the doctors are very different. The rule of thumb is probably max. 10 pills a month before a dependency and the MIK occurs. Unfortunately, my migraine but does not stick to this recommendation and there are now and again, more than 10 tablets a month.

    Maxalt for Migraine

I (43) have been suffering from migraine since I was 15 years old, now several days a week, always with severe nausea and vomiting if I do not take medications on time. Prophylactically, I have tried a lot, beta blocker, etc., but nothing really helped. Since 1998 I am taking triptans in an acute migraine attack. The first drug that helped at all! First, Naramig (you get today as a Formigran in the pharmacy over the counter), which helped well, had no side effects, but the effect was often relatively late, sometimes only after 4 hours. Since 2002, I take Maxalt, first the 5 mg tablets, but those were not enough. Now I take the 10 mg tablets. They really help very well. After about an hour, pain and nausea are gone. However, about 20 minutes after taking a noticeable fatigue, I notice a lead-in-the-bone feeling, which also manifests itself in the form of language difficulties, because the tongue is heavy, but that is again after two hours at the latest path. Urinary urgency is also one of the side effects, but that too will return after two hours. Usually a Maxalt tablet will help for about 24 hours, then the migraine will come back in 70% of the cases and I will take a second tablet. Unfortunately, I need an average of 10-12 tablets a month, but in between, I’m also clearly painless, so that one can not yet speak of a triptan headache. So far I have refused prophylaxis with Topamax, because I fear the strong side effects. Since 2001, I have taken fluoxetine as an antidepressant (40 mg daily), so when taking Maxalt I must take care that I do not take both remedies at the same time, but keep a few hours apart, otherwise there is a risk of serotonin syndrome.

    Maxalt for Migraine

For 6 years I suffer for three, mostly four days with migraine. Bad pressure pain behind the right eye and temple, as if someone wanted to push my eyes out. Besides, nausea, with and without aura. Most of the time the first two Maxalt do not help, only at the third Maxalt I have a reaction that the pain goes away. I take 4 Maxalt in the first 24 hours, otherwise I would not stand the pain. Have to fight with side effects like, extreme tiredness, frequent urination, high pulse rate. It is the only remedy that really helps me ….

    Maxalt for Migraine

I am suffering from migraine since my 10th year, sometimes with and without aura. I am in my early 50s and have found that migraine attacks and migraine attacks have become more intense, prolonged and / or distressing for a number of years, depending on the cause or external impact. But I can fully rely on my Maxalt 10 mg tablets. My family doctor prescribed it to me about 10 years ago, after trying many other remedies without success. The Maxalt were and still are my important companion in migraine everyday life. In general, I try at the current migraine attacks, which usually last 4 to 6 days, per day not more than two tablets, but if the attack is as bad as last time (eg in stark weather capers), then can It also happen that I take 6 to 7 Maxalt on a migraine day. But this has happened very rarely. Strong fatigue, photosensitivity and easy trance behavior are also my most noticeable side effects.

I take my doctor’s recommendations Maxalt 5 mg and I’m very happy with it. The attack is gone in an hour. And side effects are less than sumatriptan (had to lie flat for a few hours because of discomfort, paralysis of the extremities, panic, difficulty speaking) Maxalt has almost no side effects compared to sumatriptan and is only to be recommended!

After the start of taking Topamax it came pretty quickly to the described weight loss – pleasant – but also to disorientation. Can also be related to previous brain surgery. For the treatment of focal epilepsy and migraine, I can only recommend Topamax. Since SAB with Clip Brain Aneurysm, I have depression that is getting stronger and now being treated with amitriptyline. Now, my brain sometimes runs like a DVD player in fast-forward or I fall asleep at the desk, can no longer assign things, I’m just completely confused. 1 and 2 do not seem to be compatible?
