Metoprolol for Migraine; Heart rhythm disturbances; High blood pressure

For about 1.5 years I have an increasing headache, in the spring came then the hypertension and a slight tachycardia – I have also in a longer period of rest (at night, etc.), etc. felt an increased heart rate. Lastly, I had a headache every 3 days, regardless of whether I worked, it was weekend, or it was morning or evening. I was prescribed beta-blockers (metoprolol) and headache tablets (migraine tone). I had to take the beta-blockers once in the morning and once in the evening, the painkillers only when needed. Hypertension and tachycardia have decreased and have temporarily returned to normal. Also the headache attacks came less often. Around the same time, the hay fever period came and I had to take because of various symptoms (itching in the throat, sneezing, etc.) an antiallergic. In the meantime, I have also taken magnesium, as I got calf cramps and these lasted some days. In the meantime, however, I have discontinued the magnesium dragees and paused for a few days, then taken again. For 2 weeks I no longer take the dragees, but will start taking them again. For more than 2 years I also occasionally have the problem that my hands swell for no reason (only the palms of my hands), become red and hot and extremely itchy. Systral, Fenistil, Soventol & amp; Co., but not always. Also, I have long had the problem that my feet are constantly cooking – even in winter. Outwardly there is nothing to feel, they also like to feel cold, but inside I have the feeling that the feet are cooking. Most of my feet are not covered by the blanket when sleeping, otherwise I could not fall asleep. In summer, I put my feet in a bucket of water so that I can fall asleep at all … 4 weeks ago I had an MRI scan because of the headache, it was found that the findings are inconspicuous. For 3 weeks, I have not taken the beta-blockers, since the headaches have occurred more frequently. Blood pressure and heart rate have also risen again. Now I am in 3 days before a blood test and an ultrasound of the thyroid gland before. For about 2 weeks I also have the feeling that my lower legs and feet are swollen, since 3 days this has become extreme. In addition, I have a slight itching on top of the space between the toes for these two weeks – as the person is, of course I scratched and a place has risen. Yesterday, the area around this wound went extremely off (like a bruise) and blushed. Today my feet feel even swollen, my ankle is also much lower. I then just with one finger pressed sideways on the foot – as a dent has remained. Unfortunately, today is only Saturday, but I will tell my family doctor at the latest on Tuesday morning at the appointment of the swollen feet – at the latest!

Metoprolol for Depression; Heart rhythm disturbances; High blood pressure

Before irritable bowel, with the use of metoprolol permanent constipation, evening calf pain. Have the drug discontinued, digestion works again, calf pain has stopped. Blood pressure levels continued to increase sporadically, pulse rate continued to remain almost permanent tachycard (even when taking metoprolol, blood pressure was still elevated and pulse rate always in the tachycarden area).

to ASS Protect 300, I take instead of Marcumar I do not tolerate, carry the Riesiko … amitriptyline, calms me something takes me a little afraid of Vorhafflimmern … now without insulin I could not live anymore but it is not so easy to measure at every meal, inject and then it does not matter, because cortisone that I need for the treatment of colitis makes everything unpredictable again … The sentence Marcumar anybody who my doctors can handle so loud, I can no longer hear muscle cramps , Muscle failure, dyspnea, laryngeal swelling, dizziness, nausea, weakness, heatwaves … all came with the use of Marcumar … after weaning, a large part of the side effects disappeared, a renewed trial yielded the same result, but not all that was bad with the medication Side effects disappeared …

    Side effects: No side effects

Metoprolol for Coronary heart disease; Cholesterol value increase; Heart rhythm disturbances

Simvastatin brought the cholesterol levels to very good levels. Unfortunately, it almost got me in the wheelchair. Doctors ignore worries and concerns, trying to get me to take it back. For a year, I refuse. Etrezol is the same. Since I no longer take these medications, the value (for a healthy person) is in the normal range.

Metoprolol for Heart rhythm disturbances; High blood pressure

Since reading the reports of the side effects of other patients, I find that they agree with some of my symptoms: sometimes dizziness, suppose. Weight gain despite eating little (168 cm, 79-82 kg). I’m 61 years old and push the sometimes significant sweats (the water is just so running) always on the menopause, so do the doctors. Maybe this is due to the use of Metoprolol . The fatigue and depression as well as drive and insomnia, lightning in front of the eyes can certainly, lt. other statements, even come from it. Maybe I should change the medication. Unless the cashier pays. Or do I have to pay?

Metoprolol for Depression; Heart rhythm disturbances

Valdoxan, first night, barely able to endure migraines, dizziness, tremors, high pulse, internal freezing, nightmares, although I started with half Valdoxan 25mg. Thank god, otherwise I would not have taken it further. Bearable during the day, some headache, increased heart rate and mild hypertension. Tried to regulate blood pressure and pulse in the morning with half a metoprolol, small success. After 3 days, slight weight loss. Retained half the dose of Valdoxan 25 mg for a week, then increased it to a whole, because the mood was pretty depressive and I often had to cry. Some side effects disappeared, leaving dizziness, increased heart rate and low blood pressure after 2 weeks. Yesterday evening, at about 6.30 pm, I took half a metoprolol again, because the pulse was a little high, had a terrible night, almost as bad as the very first night, migraine, trembling. I hope that the trigger of this night was the evening intake of half metoprolol. Still afraid of tonight. Positive is, however, easy weight loss, no food cravings, only because I try to hold out. Maybe the side effects will disappear.

Metoprolol for Heart rhythm disturbances; High blood pressure

Drug moderately affects blood pressure. Pulse drops sharply (from 120 to 47). Constant tiredness, listlessness. Cold hands and feet, otherwise frequent sweating. Acts like a strong sedative. Subdued emotions, i. little excitement but hardly any joy. Tingling and muscle aches. Very unpleasant nightmares, the first time in your life tachycardia at night. Despite the cushioning occasionally muscle tremors and restlessness. Change the personality (from cheerful and spirited, but also anxious and excited to lahmarschig and lazy …) Nevertheless, too high a pulse is of course also extremely exhausting and certainly not healthy. I will continue to search, because this drug is a blow to the head with the hammer ;-))).

    Metoprolol for Heart rhythm disturbances

I am 19. Had my first ablation at AV 17 due to AV nodal reentry tachycardia, unsuccessful (numbness did not work from the cardiac catheter, trauma hurt scars remained). One day after my 18 the 2 ablation despite the bad experience. This time with success and diagnosis of congenital heart disease. Well, but sometimes to the drug Metroprololsuccinat. I take it again because my complaints are back. Because it is a fault that restores their line. My side effects of the drug are currently diarrhea, nausea, sluggishness, fatigue (if I sleep freely until 11/11: 30) otherwise before taking to 6, noon sleep at 15 o’clock to 17 o’clock and from 20 o’clock I often sleep again when I have no service. Feeling full, stinging in the chest when breathing, paleness, sweating a lot more, no thirst, loss of appetite and heavy feeling of the legs When running as if I had a block of it and in the evening with calm numbness with tingling. Well, I still live and take this medicine. Have a slower pulse 250 thus also low blood pressure and dizziness when standing up or lying down stoop. I take only 1/2 47.5mg already.

After 5 days of taking Tambocor 100 the libido and any feeling on the genital had disappeared. I then canceled Tambocor again, but the lack of feeling is still there after 3 days. I also had a total loss of sexual feelings during bisoprolol. Does anyone have similar experiences?

    Side effects: Libido loss

Amiodarone 14 days before ablation and since (previous cardioversion unsuccessful) Amiodarone significantly reduces the need for Marcumar (instead of 5 1/2 now 3 1/2 tablets) Side effects Amiodarone for me: drop in blood pressure (therefore Digitoxin and Diovan were omitted), pulse rate significantly reduced, fatigue, lack of drive, slight feeling of nausea, feeling of fullness (therefore not increased), vivid dreams, rarely nightmares Effect: spontaneous return to the sinus rhythm for hours under pulse and blood pressure increase 2. Ablation planned

In the beginning, I was pretty tired and tired, but after 2-3 days it improved and everything seemed fine, then after 2 weeks, the side effects came: heavy drop in blood pressure with dizziness every time you sit up or get up (even sitting out), Loss of appetite, heavy night sweats, pressure and shortness of breath even with little exercise, headache, constant fatigue, especially after eating so strong that I always need a nap thereafter. The actual effect, however, leaves much to be desired, continue to have the tachycardia, because of which it was prescribed.

So far, I have taken the drug Meto Hennig for several years and tolerated well. When I wanted to use the last recipe, the pharmacy employee Metoprolol gave me, as it is from the Krnakenkasse (in this case IKK direct) is required to always select the cheapest drug with the same ingredients. After a few days, nausea, a slight headache and a depressive mood set in.

The first three weeks went well with very few exceptions. During the 4th week, for no apparent reason, dizziness, heart and chest pressure, panic attacks and the constant feeling of having to take a deep breath. The whole thing so strong that I was even afraid of falling asleep. Accompanied with very strong cold sweats.

For three weeks everything went well and I had real improvement, but now it seems to me right nachzustauen side effect; mainly at rest: heart and chest pressure, panic attacks and tachycardia for a few minutes, which keep me awake, sleep disturbances, from noon I’m completely impulsive and slack, I’m also otherwise quite unfocused. Lack of appetite due to a feeling of bloating after eating.
