    Azopt for Glaucoma

After the Trusopt who had taken in before made me rather tired and sad, I was very happy to be cheered up by the Azopt at the beginning. However, after a few days, this changed into rapid heartbeat and tremors. After a few months I was regularly shivering at night, so I have to change the medication now. Smaller skin irritations were alleviated by creaming.

    Side effects: Palpitations

    Azopt for Glaucoma

I, female, 69 years, have been taking the remedy for about 10 years. – About 2 years ago started with me severe skin problems, a reliable diagnosis was and does not exist. One tapped a kind of psoriasis. – About 6 weeks ago, my eye problems became so severe (red eyelids, foreign body sensation in my eyes as if I had a barley grain, I did not want to drip with Azopt anymore). After consultation with my ophthalmologist Azopt was discontinued immediately. – Now after these 6 weeks I have the feeling, after I had once again a very strong push of my skin problems, with itching, etc., that the skin problems get better, it slowly fades away. Also, the morning nose run has disappeared.

    Side effects: Nose effluent

    Azopt for Glaucoma

Azopt was prescribed to me because of an acute glaucoma attack. It works quite well, noticeably reduces eye pressure. Since I am an asthmatic, I can not apply a few drops. Azopt seems an exception here. But other side effects were / are very severe with me: headache, kidney pain, high blood pressure, dizziness and blurred vision. Although these NW disappear after a few hours, but until then you curse quite nice.

    Side effects: Dizziness; Headache

    Azopt for Glaucoma

After finding a high intraocular pressure as the first drug, the Azopt eye drops were prescribed. The drops should first be shaken in the bottle (suspension), and they are not clear, but rather milky – and so they feel on / in the eye too! Blurred vision, burning and itching, very red eyes. No improvement in the values, the intraocular pressure was still (almost) the same. In addition, my blood pressure rose. After discontinuing the Azopt drops and switching to another drug (Cosopt) quickly returned to normal blood pressure, and the intraocular pressure was noticeably less after a short time.

    Side effects: Eye redness

    Azopt for Glaucoma

I have been taking Xalatan eye drops for 3 years. The intraocular pressure was lowered, I did not notice any side effects. In order to lower the internal pressure even further on the right eye, the ophthalmologist has also prescribed Azopt for me. However, after 5 days I had to stop taking Azopt because of the following side effects: headache, nausea, rapid heartbeat, increased blood pressure, furry feeling in the mouth, lumps on the tip of my tongue. An additional reduction of the intraocular pressure could not be measured. Because of its sticky consistency, the intake was very unpleasant. The application is now 10 weeks back. From the o. G. Side effects I have increased blood pressure and lumps on the tongue tip today. I can not recommend using Azopt in conjunction with Xalatan!

    Side effects: Palpitations; Headache
