Lithium for Depression treatment

After tasting everything on the market, I finally take Jatrosom, 60 mg; 30 mg in the morning and 30 mg in the afternoon. The very high lithium dose was reduced to 3 x 3 tablets a 3.2 millimoles during the hospital stay, so my lithium level is around 0.7. The only side effect of lithium is that I often have a heavy lump in my throat, can not swallow properly, which is extremely unpleasant. My weight gain in the whole of the drug therapy in the last two years is about 20 kg. My kilo count used to be the same as when I was healthy and in everyday life, d. I really want to avoid having to change again because otherwise the medicine will do me so much. Side effects: fatigue, hunger (weight gain) and slight increase in depressive inertia. 4. Following treatment with quetiapine (Seroquel). Something calming, but no effect on depression or anxiety disorder. Side effects: Massive hunger attacks and severe tiredness. After about 8 weeks again discontinued. 5. Timely treatment with lithium. Strong antisuizidal, otherwise no influence. Side effects: tremor, weight gain and acne. Taking until today. 6. On top of that, Bupoprion (Etronil). Initially highly effective against depression. After a few weeks of action disappeared. No effect on anxiety disorder. Side effects: tremor, dry mouth and sleep disorders. Unplanned treatment success against nicotine addiction. 7. On the whole cocktail again on top: Lamotrigine. Strong effect against depression. No effect on anxiety disorders. Side effects: none. 8. For 7 days try with Methylphenidad (Ritalin). No effect, various side effects. 9. Discontinuation of Lyrica and Wellbutrin without visible consequences. 10th attempt with Nortrilen. Drug very effective against depression. Side effect: Dry mouth, hunger, sleep problems and high blood pressure. Libido can not be assessed due to concomitant use of venlaflaxin. Right now I do not care about the side effects of Nortrilen. After 2 years and various attempts, the first antidepressant, which is really antidepressant. After 2 years of immeasurable suffering, I am finally on the way to recovery. For a long time I hesitated to take an old antidepressant. With all my medicine cocktail, I simply lacked the belief that something could actually work. However, I can highly recommend it for resistance to therapy today. Lyrica: weight gain, initially tiredness. Wellbutrin: Sleep disorders, headache (both only at the beginning). Dry mouth. Lithium: Severe tremor, acne, weight gain, dry mouth, thirst. Lamotrigine: no side effects. After more than a year of drug treatment and unsuccessful treatments, I was prescribed the drug lamotrigine. This works very well, without side effects. Since I also have ADHD, it has modified my depression. The result was, as with many ADHD and depression patients, an extensive therapy license. According to my specialist in ADHD and mood disorders (depression, anxiety), the drugs Wellbutrin and Lamotrigine are in most cases very effective while classic antidepressants fail. After more than 1.5 years of immeasurable torment and suffering, I am finally on the road to recovery. Even if one does not believe it, it passes.
