    Lithium for Mood swings; Depression

After tasting everything on the market, I finally take Jatrosom, 60 mg; 30 mg in the morning and 30 mg in the afternoon. Combined with lithium aspartate, which I take because I can not stand the normal quilonium (I was sick from morning to night), I escaped from a severe depression, in the end I was just in the apartment and did nothing more, me just wanted to kill. In the clinic, the MAO diet was started immediately and a little later I had the full dose of Jatrosom, 60 mg. Coupled with an incredibly high dose of lithium aspartate (3 x 5 tablets a 3.2 millimoles) against another mania, the jatrosome began to take effect after a short while, with my permanent suicidal thoughts gone one morning. The very high lithium dose was reduced to 3 x 3 tablets a 3.2 millimoles during the hospital stay, so my lithium level is around 0.7. The only side effect of lithium is that I often have a heavy lump in my throat, can not swallow properly, which is extremely unpleasant. My weight gain in the whole of the drug therapy in the last two years is about 20 kg. My kilo count used to be the same as when I was healthy and in everyday life, d. H. again had a higher basal metabolic rate, by itself. This time, nothing is doing, which is not nice, because at 165 cm to weigh about 85 kilos is not nice. Despite all the ifs and buts, I am very grateful that the Jatrosom acts as a last resort and I can lead a reasonably normal life again. With the diet I have no problems, since I eat almost no meat and sausage anyway. The other things that I’m not sure I can eat or not, I’ll just try.

    Lithium for Depression

I’ve been taking lithium for 3 days, as I’ve got a lot of depression and venlafaxine is not enough, but so far it’s the antidepressant, which has helped me the best so far. I have a strong nausea since the first evening. It starts about 1/2 to 1 hour after ingestion, but gets better during the day. Have a huge u. constant thirst and during the day I feel a little dizzy and I am also very tired u. tired. The Venlafaxin I take for 1 year and I’m fine so except a dry mouth, I did not notice.

Side effects: Dizziness; Nausea; Thirst; Fatigue

    Lithium for Bipolar disorder; Depression

I have been taking Elontril for ten weeks and while my mood is much better and I do not feel like living under a bell any more (as with all the other depressants I’ve tried before – Cypralex, Cymbalta, Trevilor, Amitryptilin etc), unfortunately I am under very severe nausea, which I do not leave even after all these weeks. I first put it on my stomach ulcer, but now this week I have increased the dose again from 300mg to 450mg, and the nausea is suddenly much worse, a sweet taste at the moment has come to this. Can I still hope that these side effects (which can not be sustained in the long run) will go away even though I’ve had them for almost three months? I really want to avoid having to change again because otherwise the medicine will do me so much. I eat normally again (the ill sugar addiction that caused the other remedies went away overnight), and lost the 7 kilos I gained from the other remedies, the painful water retention in my legs is also gone , I am less tired, can finally work again, sleep well (the initial violent nightmares are now subsiding) etc. etc.

But it is not whether it is from Amisulpride comes or whether it is a drug overdose of Dominal 80 mg.

    Lithium for Depression

Diagnosis: (severe) depression, anxiety and panic attacks 1st trial: Sertraline. At first massive anxiety increase. Ineffective against depression. Side effects: anxiety, agitation, depersonalization / derealization, loss of libido, cocaine pain. Abandoned after a short time. 2nd trial: venlaflaxin. Very effective against panic attacks. Ineffective against depression. Side effects: same as with sertraline. Ingestion to date (225mg / day) 3. Simultaneous treatment with Lyrica. Very effective against internal states of tension, general anxiety and agitation. No influence on the depression. Side effects: fatigue, hunger (weight gain) and slight increase in depressive inertia. 4. Following treatment with quetiapine (Seroquel). Something calming, but no effect on depression or anxiety disorder. Side effects: Massive hunger attacks and severe tiredness. After about 8 weeks again discontinued. 5. Timely treatment with lithium. Strong antisuizidal, otherwise no influence. Side effects: tremor, weight gain and acne. Taking until today. 6. On top of that, Bupoprion (Etronil). Initially highly effective against depression. After a few weeks of action disappeared. No effect on anxiety disorder. Side effects: tremor, dry mouth and sleep disorders. Unplanned treatment success against nicotine addiction. 7. On the whole cocktail again on top: Lamotrigine. Strong effect against depression. No effect on anxiety disorders. Side effects: none. 8. For 7 days try with Methylphenidad (Ritalin). No effect, various side effects. 9. Discontinuation of Lyrica and Wellbutrin without visible consequences. 10th attempt with Nortrilen. Drug very effective against depression. Side effect: Dry mouth, hunger, sleep problems and high blood pressure. Libido can not be assessed due to concomitant use of venlaflaxin. Right now I do not care about the side effects of Nortrilen. After 2 years and various attempts, the first antidepressant, which is really antidepressant. After 2 years of immeasurable suffering, I am finally on the way to recovery. For a long time I hesitated to take an old antidepressant. With all my medicine cocktail, I simply lacked the belief that something could actually work. However, I can highly recommend it for resistance to therapy today. However, the whole chemistry does not replace psychotherapy, which is necessary for longer-term recovery. Some years ago, I could not imagine why anyone could commit suicide. I was taught in a painful way a better one. Hold on, even if it does not look like it at all. It’s actually over.

    Lithium for Bipolar disorder; Depression

Since the 21st of July 2010 I am being treated intensively, for the first time in my long history of suffering. Trevilor in combination with mirtazipine helped me out of very severe depression. However, I swung without mood stabilizer into the mania with delusions, psychotic symptoms. On my arrival on 21 August 2010 with a mania, the whole Trevilor was discontinued immediately. In the following months, the following settings were made: 1750 mg Ergenyl, 675 mg Litium (Quilonorm retard), Cipralex 15 mg, Elontril 300 mg, Mirtazipin 45 mg, Valdoxan 25 mg. Before that time, I had quite a few major depressions and hypomanic manic phases. I have gained about 12 kg under this medication mentioned above. I often feel shaky in my body, my muscles get tired very fast, I have less strength, physically as well as of the mind. I have tremors in the body, so tremor. Particularly noticeable is a heaviness of the legs. I do not like this at all. I am reasonably stable about the mood. But most of the time, I feel slightly depressed, especially when I feel my body that way. Ergenyl in combination with lamotrigine did not work at all. I was just shaking. I have very good experience with ECT in severe depression. She got me out of depression after a year. It does not seem to go without medication for this condition. I can not recommend discontinuing the medication, have always had relapses. When dosing Cipralex in the above-mentioned medication I got a tinnitus on the right ear. The connection is obvious. In the next few weeks and months I try to get by with less and less medication. I hope that at some point I might just need the mood stabilizers. Dear people, I have experienced such insane torments. I could not imagine that in the worst dreams. I hope that I can help one or the other with my presentation. All the best Mudito

    Lithium for Depression

Be 1.5 years severe depressive episode with panic attacks and generalized anxiety disorder. Panic Attacks: Venlaflaxin very good effect. Lyrica only minor effect. Other drugs have no effect. Generalized anxiety disorder: Lyrica very good effect, venlaflaxin moderate to good effect. Lamotrigine moderate effect. Depression: Therapy resistance to antidepressants of the SSRI and SSRNI class (venlaflaxin, sertraline, citalopram). Therapy to lithium. Wellbutrin low to moderate effect. Lamotrigine very good effect. Nicotine addiction (unplanned treatment): Wellbutrin very good effect. Side effects Venlaflaxin in the first four weeks: anxiety, dizziness, severe agitation, loss of libido, headache, sleep disorders. Venlaflaxin after the first four weeks: complete loss of libido. Lyrica: weight gain, initially tiredness. Wellbutrin: Sleep disorders, headache (both only at the beginning). Dry mouth. Lithium: Severe tremor, acne, weight gain, dry mouth, thirst. Lamotrigine: no side effects. After more than a year of drug treatment and unsuccessful treatments, I was prescribed the drug lamotrigine. This works very well, without side effects. Since I also have ADHD, it has modified my depression. The result was, as with many ADHD and depression patients, an extensive therapy license. According to my specialist in ADHD and mood disorders (depression, anxiety), the drugs Wellbutrin and Lamotrigine are in most cases very effective while classic antidepressants fail. After more than 1.5 years of immeasurable torment and suffering, I am finally on the road to recovery. Even if one does not believe it, it passes. PS: Was briefly treated with Seroquel (fatigue, appetite increase, weight gain) and Ritalin (agitation)

After Zyprexa, Seroquel came then lithium. I do not remember the exact dosage. Physically serious side effects were constant thirst, dry mouth, purulent pimples (I have some scars retained by scratching, juhu), trembling and constantly and a tingling sensation, as if I were hunted small surges through arms and legs: D To my feelings I can did not remember me so well, had vague thoughts and was unfocused. Lithium has not changed my depressive feelings. After 3-maybe it’s also 4 (as I said, all blurry) – Months I was finally loslch. Hm, I wanted to take something new again. Clozapin had not even tried.

ECG changes have occurred. Weight gain. In addition, Zyprexa is still taken. After 10 months of well-being suddenly a depressive phase occurs again. Is this normal under Trevilor?
