    Abilify for Depression; Psychosis

At that time I switched to Abilifly because I needed what pushes me and does not make me tired like Leponex, Seroquel … the positive thing I’ve noticed after a few days is that I’m fitter, quicker thinking, got up earlier by myself without an alarm clock, I’ve got it all together less sleep. But over time it became. the whole thing to a disaster: The thoughts / opinions have changed so quickly, often in the opposite, have found no rest, could not concentrate on one thing. At the time, I was still having acute panic attacks every night and Abilfy only intensified them. In my opinion, my fine motor skills suffered as well, my hands were stiff and could only make a pain in pain. After 3 weeks I have to stop it because the side effects were too blatant and it just did not get better and that was no longer acceptable with the hands

The use of Abilify together with Zyprexa (for conversion), it came after the first two revenues to severe stomach problems. Since the symptoms had not subsided after 4 weeks, the drug had to be discontinued immediately. These complaints have not gone away and have since been treated with MCP (internist) and Buscopan. Treatment unsuccessful – condition worsens. The ultrasound showed abnormal images / changes in the liver and kidneys the day before yesterday. Findings are still pending. The effectiveness of the drug can not be assessed. The price / performance ratio was not. It should only be very expensive. Due to the serious side effects, the drug can not be recommended.

    Abilify for Depression

I was broken and petrified after an incident, so I went to a psychology clinic, Abilify was prescribed to me. since I always slept long, and having problems getting up earlier, the positive effect with Abilify was that I automatically got up around eight in the morning. and suddenly I was totally horny, more than usual. I did not feel any side effects, and I did not feel better. I can not say why I was prescribed this, I am just depressed and unhappy. After discontinuing abilifys I suddenly had problems with the potency, is now 2 years ago and no one can help me, and that makes me more and more finished. I took abilify in between to counteract it, but since 10 months I do not take it anymore. my libido is totally down, it does not work anymore, only if and when I’m really tired. was at 3 urologists and no one has advice, because I am athletic and self-confident, and have excellent blood levels. If anyone has any advice, I beg you, I’m about to reach Abilify again.

    Abilify for Concentration disorders; Depression

Antipsychotics (first Seroquel, later Abilify) were the most horrible drug experience of my life. Horrible … Under Seroquel I had NO ideas anymore. I felt like my brain and mind were in chains, I felt inhibited and thinking slowed down, it was awful. The term chemical straitjacket fits it very well. And Abilify has caused me a terrible joylessness (also called anhedonia). No matter what I did, I absolutely did not enjoy it. In my worst depressive times it was not so bad. I swore never to touch NL again. I find it terrifying how a drug can take away so much creativity and individuality, vitality and initiative and that without making you tired. I was not tired of it. but otherwise the antipsychotics were paralyzing in every way. ————————————————– ———————– Seroquel for the treatment of concentration problems Because it can help against concentration problems, I have taken 600 mg of Seroquel Prolong for 7 weeks. I had NO ideas and under this condition I suffered a lot. Fatigue disappeared in 10 days, lack of ideas did not disappear. The withdrawal was a liberation. Klaus Windgassen in the Deutsches Ärzteblatt, issue 48/2004: “Under classical neuroleptics, on the contrary, psychological changes can occur which are often barely distinguishable from this [negative symptoms] and are therefore also called secondary negative symptoms. Patients may suffer from neuroleptic-induced affective depletion, more often there is still a decline in coagulative processes or a loss of spontaneity and trauma. Although these accompanying effects of neuroleptic therapy are completely reversible (as well as, as a rule, the physical side effects), they can considerably burden the patient. “Full article at http://www.aerzteblatt.de/v4/archiv/artikel.asp?id=44493 I do not know if Seroquel belongs to the classic neuroleptics. In any case, the LETTERING describes exactly how Seroquel worked for me. Whether Seroquel helped me with the concentration, I can not say. I did not get any concentration problems after weaning until today (4 years later). I found out what was causing my concentration problems. Namely that too many worries have gone along. To make worries aware — & gt; Concern consciously pushing aside because I want to do this activity now — & gt; I can concentrate properly. The Seroquel was just awful, I had NO ideas anymore. How many incidents you have constantly, you only notice when that’s gone. Quite apart from the fact that I want to work in the thesis in a working group that develops new devices for analytics in chemistry, I have to bring in my own ideas. At the time, I also wrote a choir set for two gospel songs, for my church choir. This was no longer possible under Seroquel, I had no more melodies in my head. A horrible condition, something like that. No more Seroquel I could not laugh anymore under the influence of Seroquel. The round was laughing and I knew that normally I would laugh, but it did not work. It’s not under the influence of Seroquel. I suffered from joylessness because of Seroquel. Music gave me nothing more, sex has given me nothing more. It was generally difficult or impossible to develop positive feelings under the influence of Seroquel. More difficult than in depressive phases, which I have by nature, it is still better and more often than under the influence of Seroquel. I also suffer in depressive phases with joylessness, but not without gaps. There are always bright spots where I can look forward perfectly. The joyless that causes me Seroquel, is complete and therefore worse. I suffer more from the condition that Seroquel causes me than from the depressive phases. Because of the joylessness I got 30 mg Citalopram prescribed. But that did not help. Only settling Seroquel has benefited. ————————————————– ———————– Because of my complaints about Seroquel the clinician changed me to Abilify. I tolerated it even worse. One week seroquel washout, then 10 days without antipsychotics, then over 9 days creeping on Abilify 10 mg. The citalopram I have continued all the time. Here is the review of Abilify: ——————————————– —————————– Abilify for the treatment of depression and concentration problems I have

In the course of my depression and my anxiety disorders, I also got strong mood swings. I was u.a. aggressive. In contrast, the drug helped me immediately. The effect was rapid and effective. The side effects were catastrophic at least in the first days: collapse; I could not even walk about an hour after taking it; Nausea; Break; I almost slept through the first three days after my first ascent, but I was awake for one to two hours in between; restless legs set in; All side effects, except for the restless legs, went away after about two weeks. However, I remained fidgety, so I could not sit still. Reading or working was very difficult or sometimes impossible.

Side effects: Restless legs; Vomit; Sweats; Fatigue

I take 10 mg Abilify for 3 days and feel like I’m totally on drugs. Side effects: headache, dizziness, extreme tiredness, nausea, sometimes can not speak properly, my writing is totally scrawny, I feel very weak. Dream hard and much. I feel like I’m on a bad drug trip. Now I have halved the dose (to 5mg) and it works a little better. I will observe this with my doctor and then decide if we will switch back to my old medication (Amisulprid). The only advantage: I have already lost 2.5 pounds.

    Abilify for Depression

Abilify was given to me at the age of 19 during inpatient treatment (for depression). Because I did not progress in the single-talk therapy (thoughts always revolved around the one topic) I decided (unfortunately) to try this neuroleptic on the advice of the doctor once. A few hours after taking the first pill, I chatted normally with a nurse when I suddenly realized that I could not speak properly. It was like that my tongue swelled up (which she was not). I could only articulate myself vaguely. At first I thought I was just faking it but when I realized it was not going away, I panicked. I ran to the nurse and tried to convey her with unclear language that I could not speak anymore and I did not know why that was. The sister also noticed that my language was more indistinct than before (she was also the one who had given me the Abilify in the morning) but she only said: It’s all psychologically determined. Because the sister was so sure and I did not know, I called my mother first. (she immediately noticed that something was wrong with my pronunciation) During the conversation my language became more and more indistinct and I realized that I got a real tongue spasm (the tongue had bent up to the palate and was frozen). My mother I was also very worried and said I should go to the sister again and ask if it could be a side effect of the neuroleptic. So I went to the sister again and she read me the leaflet. There was really very bottom down as a very rare side effect, a spasm, which unfortunately I just had to get … Luckily, you now knew what the cause was and the sister could give me an antidote (which luckily also immediately worked) In hindsight, I am very disappointed with the irresponsible behavior of the nurse (she left me completely alone with the onset of spasms) and I learned from this that you do not have to believe everything to sisters or doctors right away, and prefer to overdo even the slightest doubt or uncertainty should. I would not recommend this medicine to anyone, because there is a chance that such a spasm (although very rarely) occurs. The cramping hours were really the worst of my life and I think that you can certainly resort to other drugs that can not have such bad side effects.

    Abilify for Concentration disorders; Depression

I took 15 mg Abilify / day for 7 weeks. I could not stand it. At first I was just jogging while jogging, 3 weeks later I could not swim because I had no strength to pull my arms through the water. One week later, stairs were exhausting. I felt depressed, the increase in citalopram dose from 30 mg to 40 mg did not help. (Citalopram is an SSRI antidepressant) I have suffered from loss of interest and no matter what I did, I did not enjoy it. Abilify® has caused me complete anhedonia, resulting in complete lack of motivation. It did not make me tired, but otherwise it was debilitating in every way. Within 3 weeks of weaning, I regained strength and stamina, and study content and hobbies have returned to my interest, and the depressed mood has gone away. I am sure that the condition described above was caused by Abilify®, the symptoms came with the Abilify® and left after weaning. Whether Abilify helped me with concentration, I can not say. I did not get any concentration problems after weaning until today (14 months later). As can be seen from the above report, Abilify has no antidepressant effect on me, on the contrary. Ciao Anna

Abilify caused neck stiffness at low dose and a pull in the hand and ankles. A general physical weakness occurred, so walking becomes a bit exhausting. It helps well against delusions and anxiety, it gets irritable and has the urge to perform. Trevilor caused nausea and anxiety and mydriasis, the perception was a bit blurry, orgasm was delayed. It works well against depression and suppresses the side effects of Abilify. A good combination, you can think clearly again.

The depression was never completely under control so after suicide attempt now venlafaxine was scheduled. take it for 3 days and I’m not tired all the time rather too active, think that will settle hope it at least. l-Tyroxin shows no side effects and will probably accompany me throughout my life, since my thyroid gland is no longer active after radiotherapy.
