    Amoxicillin for Dental treatment

Last Wednesday I had a tooth-op, I have been taking the antibiotic (Amoxicillin ratiopharm 1000) since last Tuesday and I would have to take it until tomorrow. But I have discontinued it since today, since I have had many little, itchy pustules since yesterday evening – from head to calf. When you scratch the itchy spots, the points swell up. I have never had an allergic reaction to medication-until now, but never antibiotic. However, after studying the package leaflet, it became clear to me that my rash was due to amoxicillin-since the adverse reaction to skin and hypersensitivity reactions is described exactly as I see it on my body. Incidentally, what with me is that I have inflammation in the oral mucosa … I have, however, since the beginning of the week. Is uncomfortable, as this hurts and swells-but at least no one else sees it: / I have an appointment today with the doctor and get an injection and hope that I do not have to scare long when looking in the mirror 🙂 all sufferers get well soon

Amoxicillin was prescribed to me after a periodontal treatment (open curettage). The first night I had chills, in the second headache. On the third night I had so much joint pain that I spent the night crying in bed. My family doctor has now prescribed me other AB ….

    Amoxicillin for Dental treatment

In August of 2012, I was in the treatment of a dentist, this amoxicillin me about 5 days before the dental surgery with the daily intake to prevent inflammation. Hardly a night slept, I had a strange taste in the mouth (oil …. it almost tasted smelling like locksmith). My skin felt quite dry and I got a few red pustules. During the daily use of the toilet, I noticed that the smell of urine was just as unpleasant as smelling of locksmith’s smears. On the evening of the second day, I also found infections in the genital area. So I decided to take amoxicillin off and explained it to my dentist on the day of the dental surgery. 3 teeth were missing after the operation … I felt exhausted and could hardly concentrate on the environment around me. When I got home, I immediately lay down in my bed and slept through to noon, feeling very well after getting up. I had no inflammation. The sewn up places in my mouth healed very fast. I think that this drug has done its job, but at the expense of my well-being. I’m back in the morning with three more teeth – then replacement …. – This time I know that I will not use this drug because of my allergy again for prophylaxis. My dentist will treat me this time with penicylin for prophylaxis. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. Sincerely, a nice rapporteur * g * 🙂
