    Ciprofloxacin for Bacterial infection

After having traveled abroad, I had to have a bacterial infection (Malta fever) treated, because I reacted to the antibiotic doxycycline with enormous myopia and head pressure, I was switched to ciproflxacin, which I had to take 14 days. In the course of the treatment, the intake led to very severe depressive moods (gratuitous crying, overwhelming grief), pain in the feet, foot and calf cramps and circulatory disorders, mild headache, mild nausea. The bacterial infection was well resolved. If one weighs this for and against, the side effects were to endure. The consequences of the untreated infection would have been far worse.

Unfortunately, I did not tolerate the medication. Strong abdominal cramps, as well as racing headaches and mood swings were the result. Certainly, every body reacts differently to this drug.

    Ciprofloxacin for Bacterial infection

Highest warning of ciprofloxacin and all agents from the group of flourchinolones. The remedy is on the alert list in other countries. Also in D several so-called red hand letters went to the doctors. Unfortunately, these warnings are usually ignored by doctors. Unfortunately, I also heard about the dangers too late, or felt the discomfort and damage caused by ciprofloxacin on my own body. There are countless casualties and a large number of unreported cases, as the damage to nerves and tendons, etc. may sometimes occur directly during ingestion, but can often be painful only after weeks and months. Unfortunately, doctors and patients no longer notice the connections and can not imagine that, e.g. Visual disturbances, hearing damage, tendon tears, severe pain in the joints or the emergence of a carpal tunnel damage is due to the intake of this poison. Despite repeated warnings also by researchers at the Berlin Charite daily healthy people are made by the means to nursing cases. Many have become unable to work, sit in a wheelchair and become depressed because the drug destroys life.

    Ciprofloxacin for Bacterial infection

About three hours after taking a 500mg tablet Use the following: heart palpitations, dizziness, anxiety, and numb fingers. The condition worsened so badly that suicidal thoughts suddenly appeared, incoherent and unsettling. These disappeared after about half an hour, v.a. through relaxation and breathing exercises. Thereafter, tachycardia, numb fingers and depressive and anxious moodiness as well as insomnia remained throughout the night. Treatment stopped.

    Ciprofloxacin for Bacterial infection

Already on the third day extreme itching all over the body, due to these symptoms ciprofloxacin immediately discontinued. On the fourth day red discoloration on the whole body on the belly violet to brownish. Also occur from extreme pain on the entire Fusssolen which 2 1/2 weeks stopped. After 7 days pain in the hands. Today, 16 days after the first dose, the itching and pain in the hands and feet is almost gone. If I read reviews on the side effects of ciprofloxacin here on this website and on other platforms, I’m lucky enough to have discontinued the drug immediately and can only hope that no new side effects occur and no lasting damage remains. For me incomprehensible that a drug with such dangerous side effects is used when there are much less dangerous alternatives.

    Side effects: Itching rash

    Ciprofloxacin for Bacterial infection

After 8 days 2×500 daily treatment aborted due to joint pain in knees and hocks and especially pain in both Achilles tendons. After 2 weeks, normal walking was hardly possible. Also, I suffered from anxiety and depression, as well as sleep disorders. After 7 weeks improved mobility, but constantly pain , even at night and after exercise. Since then I have been on sick leave, exercise is no longer possible. Doctors usually ignorant and helpless. Have begun with eccentric training for Achilles tendon pain. Also in the tendons of the forearms slight irritant pain. I could never have imagined what this antibiotic can cause. The hoped for treatment success is out of proportion to the injury suffered. I’m grateful for any hint or tip regarding treatment and course of complaints.
